  1. (Will edit/add to this over time when more information is found)
  2.
  3. PS4 changes compared to PS3 (as of 3/14/17):
  4.
  5. - 60 FPS and faster loads
  6.
  7. - Loads save somewhere between 25 - 30 minutes over the course of an any% run, probably a decent chunk more in All Worlds/Jiminy's Journal.
  8.
  9. - Because the loads are so quick, there is a different route in Traverse Town 2. You leave through the Accessory Shop in TT1, dock in the shop in TT2, go to Merlin after getting Earthshine, save warp from Merlin to Shop, get old book and sell stuff to Cid, warp back to Merlin and talk to him. Saves roughly 10 seconds on PS4 due to loads.
  10.
  11. - Camera is uninverted by default, where as in PS3 it was inverted by default.
  12.
  13. - The 60 FPS makes certain attacks from enemies (desperation moves or DMs) go much faster. Riku 2's DM is twice as fast and Sephiroth's Meteor Attack is so fast that dodging it is close to impossible. Sephy's Octoslash also behaves differently as he basically sticks to you during the entire DM. You are also now able to simply press Square to guard the last hit if you have the guard ability equipped.
  14.
  15. - In the first Ursula battle, the fight loads in so fast that you gain control of Sora almost 5 seconds before she throws the chalice into the cauldron. This isn't a big deal for Beginner, but in Proud/Level 1 this gives the poopsies enough time to attack you multiple times and possibly die.
  16.
  17. - Goofy Tornado Is STUPID in this version. Goofy gains insane speed when he uses it which causes a few situations to change. A notable one is that he now targets the Wyvern on the left during haste2-g movement if he uses it. This causes the wyvern in front of you to target him instead. Basically: If goofy uses tornado in PS4 it is a good thing.
  18.
  19. - On the subject of Haste2-g movement in Hollow Bastion's first visit, that's also different. If Donald uses blizzard when the room loads, the Wyvern in front will target Sora unless you walk back a step or two closer to the loading zone. Every other instance where Donald doesn't use blizzard right out of the gate, standing still will always have the Wyverns target your party.
  20.
  21. - Maleficent leaves earlier during the first fight now. The solution in Beginner mode is to do a 1-2-ars, a bunch of air hits until she is at 3/4 Green bar, and then use another ars to finish. I have no idea how standard or proud would do this fight as of right now.
  22.
  23. - The Pooh Swing minigame timing in 100 Acre Wood is different; The timing is much more precise. Hitting R1 before Owl raises his wings makes Pooh go nowhere, hitting R1 JUST AS his wings start to raise gets the ideal distance, and hitting R1 at the peak of Owl's Wings sends Pooh stupidly far.
  24.
  25. - You take damage a lot faster during gummi missions, making i-frames virtually nonexistent.
  26.
  27. - Various movement tech has been omitted: Zetris Jump in Monstro isn't possible anymore, you cannot dodge roll over some ledges, and Infinite Roll Glitch does not work.
  28.
  29. - Infinite Roll Glitch (or IRG for short) doesn't work because Sora stops abruptly if he is in his dodge roll animation and is interacting with an NPC, object or picks up an item (such as the book on the table in Hollow Bastion's Library).
  30.
  31. - The biggest issue with this port is the audio bugs. Some sound effects are low quality and/or are even missing (Riku 2 doesn't laugh at you sometimes when he auto-parries from 4 connecting attacks).
  32.
  33. - A funny thing about the audio: Tigger's English VA's grunt plays in the "Block Tigger" minigame when you block him during the 2nd torn page in 100 Acre Wood. (Dual audio OpieOP)
  34.
  35. - The loads are so fast that after you kill behemoth in final rest there isn't enough time to open the menu and use a cottage, we have to equip a megalixir in advance and use that right before darkballs instead.
  36.
  37. - It is up in the air what the best solution to this is. You can either pick up the elixir in the green room or try to manage final fights with just 3 elixirs and 2 megalixirs. If not, you'll have 4 elixirs and 2 megalixirs for final fights.
