- Start: 10 pm, Day of Rest (Sunday), Midsummer 6, 401 GA
- The party decided to leave the improvised camp in the mountains - but before they did, they spotted a man approach them from the way they were headed.
- He identified himself as Vasilieos. He seemed cautious - and appropriately so, given the scene he was witnessing. They got acquainted, and Vasilieos revealed that he, too, had received a similar revelation, and an accompanying message to find them to aid with their task.
- The party and Vasilieos got acquainted and caught up, and before long, continued on their journey.
- They forded the river Glimmer and continued to the dwarven dock on the Glimmerlake.
- It was a small, well defended fort on the edge of the river, complete with reinforced walls and cannons.
- They were greeted with hospitality when they approached, and were told a day pass to Rivenport is 100 gold per person. Given the purported splendor of the city, perhaps such a price would be cheap to a well equipped adventurer.
- They rested in the camp, and Tzara surreptitiously scouted out the camp during the early morning. She found two prisoners in the tent on the north side of the camp they were specifically told not to go into.
- She devised and executed a plan, sabotaging a great pile of black powder and shrapnel in the camp. It helped her companions genuinely knew very little to incriminate her.
- The plan worked mostly without a hitch, and she let the two elven prisoners free. Returning to the camp under her Tzara guise, the entire party was calmly questioned by the dwarf interpreter. He was satisfied with their answers, if not the situation.
- The party left, continuing on to the founder's runestone.
- Once they arrived, they found the edge of the swamp, much like the border of the camp, was filled in by a trench and a barrier of lead. It appeared to be created by the dwarves, and caused the swamp to stop spreading.
- Examining the runestone, they found it to read as follows:
- It was here the Gaskhar tribes unified under one banner. May our people prosper.
- It was here Balvir ended the Gaskhar. May his descendants prosper.
- It was here the dwarves of Kor delved deep. May their people prosper.
- A newer inscription is chiseled below.
- Golden Trade-Prince, Halamakûr-Azod, Lord of Rivenport, Benefactor of All Peoples has shepherded his people into a new era of prosperity in the lake hollowed by great magics. May our people prosper.
- An old inscription continues below:
- "Spill the blood of the uncorrupt and the passage shall open."
- The inscription speaking to the Glimmer dwarves appeared newer, and almost like vandalism and one-upsmanship. Vasilieos solved the puzzle, and spilled his own blood to enter the chamber.
- Inside, they found the chambers to be filled with traps. Skillfully navigating them, they found a nest of Puppeteers. Likewise navigating this struggle, Tzara revealed her true identity to the party. Mira and her shared a moment of mutual understanding and respect.
