- The plugin LootChestRewards has a very flexible config that can be used to create almost any reward you would want, here is some documentation on how to set up rewards and how the main config works.
- The default config.yml
- # LootChests
- ChestX:
- - 0
- - 1
- - 2
- ChestY:
- - 64
- - 65
- - 66
- ChestZ:
- - 0
- - 1
- - 2
- world: world
- msgPrefix: '&c[Mystery Chest] '
- msgNoChest: '&lYou do not own this chest'
- msgOpenChest: '&lYou opened a [quality] chest'
- Setting up chest locations:
- - Get the X Y Z coords from the block you want to become the chest.
- - Fill in the X after the ChestX on one of the lines (or add one yourself) and do the same for the Y and Z
- - Select the main world for the chests to be in
- - Reload the server
- - The chests will now appear and be functionable
- Default rewards.yml:
- #Rewards.yml
- common:
- diamond:
- command:
- - give [player] diamond
- rarity: 1
- item: 264
- rare:
- diamond:
- command:
- - give [player] diamond
- rarity: 1
- item: 264
- legendary:
- diamond:
- command:
- - give [player] diamond
- rarity: 1
- item: 264
- How to set up rewards:
- [Chest Quality]:
- [Reward Name]:
- command:
- - [Command to execute] ([player] is replaced by the chest opener)
- - [Another Command to execute]
- rarity: [rarity of the item (lower is better, explanation below)]
- item: [the DISPLAY hologram item for the reward]
- How to use rarity:
- The plugin uses rarity to decide what reward to give to the player, the lower the rarity is the harder the item is to get. It works like this: if you have an item with rarity 3 and one with 4 the plugin counts them up (3+4=7) and then draws a number from 1 to 7. If it is between 1-3 you will get the first reward and when it is 4-7 you will get the second reward.
- If you still have any questions be free to contact me on skype: martijn.poldrman or leave a message on the discussion section of the plugin.
