  55. In San Fransokyo, the fourteen year-old Hiro Hamada is a little genius who makes money in illegal robot fights. His older brother, the college student Tadashi, saves Hiro from a dangerous gang and brings him to his laboratory in the university to convince him to forget the fights. Tadashi shows his nurse robot Baymax that he is developing to Hiro and introduces his little brother to his friends Go Go Tomago, Wasabi, Honey Lemon and Fred. When Hiro meets his idol Professor Robert Callaghan, he decides to join the university. Hiro needs to invent something to attract the attention of Callaghan and he brings tiny robots called microbots that are useful for many applications to the science fair in the university. The entrepreneur Alastair Krei wants to buy the microbots but Hiro prefers to stay with Callaghan in the university. When Hiro and Tadashi leave the fair, there is a fire and Tadashi returns to the place to rescue Callaghan. However the building blows up and Tadashi dies. Later, Hiro activates Baymax and the robot follows the direction pointed out by the last microbot kept with Hiro. The boy chases Baymax and they come to an abandoned building. Hiro discovers that someone is producing microbots and they are attacked by a masked man who controls the microbots. They succeed to flee and Hiro decides to include armor and another chip in Baymax to make him a master in fights. They track the masked man down to the harbor but Go Go Tomago, Wasabi, Honey Lemon and Fred arrive summoned by Baymax. The masked man attacks the group and they team-up forming Big Hero 6, using armors and their skills, to capture the masked man that they believe is Alastair Krei. But they have a huge surprise.

Hiro applies to get in a "nerd" college, only to be traumatized. But with the help of Baymax Hamada, Hiro goes on an unexpected journey with some of his friends. Watch as Hiro Hamada takes down an evil villain and some very important people pass away.

A movie that will excite you, make you laugh then make you cry then make you laugh again!<br/><br/>This movie somehow reminds me of How to Train your Dragon, Iron Man and Robot &amp; Frank! <br/><br/>I love this movie because of the times that I laughed out loud, got emotional and thrilled with my sister, my wife and a kid (Kyle) from the neighborhood.<br/><br/>I think this movie will surely be memorable to the kids who watched it. -- Like how I felt on &quot;Land Before Time&quot; LOL!<br/><br/>You must not miss this movie! This will be one of the animated movies you will surely never forget.
  58. Don&#39;t let the Oscar fool you, those fools in Hollywood can&#39;t tell a good movie from bad.<br/><br/>This movie had my daughter in tears for about 10 minutes after wards. The funny parts were all in the trailer, and the real movie is about death, grieving and revenge. I was left depressed and disgusted. Too much death and grief for what looks like a cute and fun cartoon. <br/><br/>Don&#39;t expect levity, there is none. Don&#39;t expect laughs, you&#39;ve already done all that when you watched the trailer. Stereotypes? Full on. Clichés? Major sins. Unlikeable characters? Ripe with them. <br/><br/>Sadness and grief float throughout the entire movie encased in a tale of revenge. Revenge that sends one character to prison in the midst of learning that the entire purpose for his revenge never really happened...so not only didn&#39;t he need to plot the revenge, but he doesn&#39;t get the reunion for which he&#39;s yearned.<br/><br/>Thankfully, we watched it On Demand, and I have a free coupon, so it cost me zilch. Don&#39;t waste your money!

  60. John Lasseter is very supportive of the directors, and he won&#39;t force them to put out a sequel unless they have a story that [they&#39;re] really excited about. It has to feel like a story that really has to be told or deserves to be told. It can&#39;t just be cashing in on the success of a previous film.<br/><br/>In short, they have some interest in directing a sequel, but no story is being written so far. However, Disney stated that there would be <a href="/title/tt5515212/">Big Hero 6 The Series (2017)</a> (2017) taking place after the movie. Only when the situation demands. While no specific reason to that is explained in the movie itself, it is however explained from the film crew that several characters such as Silver Samurai, Sunfire, etc. despite being part of the team in the original comic book couldn&#39;t appear in the movie due to copyright/licensing issues. A character named Yokai who uses and controls countless of Microbots. The person behind Yokai is Professor Robert Callaghan. a5c7b9f00b
