  1. I don't know what I did to deserve this, but there was pitch blackness for but the briefest moment. I was certain I was dying, couldn't really tell because all of a sudden there was light again. I felt it at back my mind that my powers were inaccessible. I don't know why, however more pressing manner would be this being that saved me. Peeling through the psychic manipulation, I see an androgynous figure, a really good looking one.
  2.
  3. I couldn't tell if this figure was male or female, not that it mattered. The figure was clearly a B.I.T.C.H. for smugness just oozed off this Eldar. Finally we introduced ourself, and I learned his/her name is Carwyn. I dared not ask what's under the robes, because I didn't want to offend or upset Carwyn. Probably because Carwyn would've gone off on another rant or blast me away with his/her mind. No I kept my mouth shut, and mind guarded.
  4.
  5. It was quite obvious we were onboard a ship, and seeing how Carwyn is an Eldar. I could only assume it was a voidship, so we could be anywhere in the galaxy. We decided to explore, but it quickly became apparent we were being lead somewhere. Sure enough things went from dull metal, to elegance and it was all of a sudden. At our destination we were greeted by Lord-Captain Draken Grigobretz, the Captain of the Light of Terra.
  6.
  7. The Light of Terra was struck by a warpstorm or something. Whatever the case it was clear that Captain Grigobretz wasn't entirely grounded. Must've been the isolation, but he seemed fine enough to help us out. He practically gave us the Light of Terra, handing over his Warrant of Trade to me. He was looking to finally die, but needed someone he could trust to run the ship. He allowed us to take a look at his collection, for what's his is now mine.
  8.
  9. Most of it was junk, trophies and busts of himself. Painting of his various ancestors, and lots of painting of the God Emperor. One thing that caught my eye almost immediately was a green glowing object, it was the firewall blocking my powers. However it would seem it was ONLY thing keeping the warpstorm at bay. I better not mess with it. Carwyn found something interesting, it was an axe. However it was behind a genelocked case.
  10.
  11. Oddly it would seem that Captain Grigobretz is actually me. Or something along that line, I chalk it up to benefactor screwing around with things. I unlock the case and sure enough there was the melee weapon belonging to Phoenix King of the Fire Dragons. Carwyn insisted I not pick it up, I did anyways. Carwyn insisted I not soil it further with my Mon'keigh hands and hand it over. I didn't, but I told Carwyn that it's mine now and that I'll possibly give it back when I no longer need it. Something tells me Carwyn isn't too happy, but despite the fussing he/she agreed for now.
  12.
  13. Next order of business was to get the house, or ship, in order. The Captain trained me intensely to shoot and fight, also he gave me some weird gene-therapy drug. He claimed it works 90% the time, but he told me this after I had taken it. It basically hollowed out my bones, replacing the solid bones with more lightweight honeycombed bird-like bones. My inner ear for balance was augmented as well, and the end result I was able to move with grace of an Eldar. Carwyn disagreed, but Carwyn always did.
  14.
  15. It was all I could muster out the old man, we had been at his place for over a year. That's when he told us that the power is slowly fading, that the remaining people have regressed. They've grouped up in tribes fighting for whatever scrap is available. Only ones to accept me as the new Captain were Redeemers, Void Walkers & Aquil Lejuns. The rest didn't like the idea and made moves to attack.
  16.
  17. With resources getting scarce it drives the enemy tribes into a sort of confederacy against me and my tribes. My intentions were never to cause a civil war, but when resources get scarce, and then survival mode kicks in? All bets are off the table. At least it didn't take as long as I thought it would.
  18.
  19. Redeemers really helped a lot, they're the big Ogryn with Evicerators. So I sent them off to "cleanse" the Wargars. The aggressive nature of both sides should draw them together. Void Walkers were pitted against the Kin of Iron, for the Void Walkers have a good understanding of the technology needed. Well, as good as primitive survivalist nomads could figure out. Lastly the Aquil Lejuns, Carwyn, and I wiped out all the Pale Sons. We then moved to help against the Kin of Iron & Wargars.
  20.
  21. It only took us at least 5-6 years. I thought because the ship was so large, it would take 10 years. However the ship is losing internal power, so it reduced our space we had by half then by the end we had less than 1/4th the ship available. It was too early to celebrate because as soon we rounded up the last the tribals that didn't join us, we were sent flying. We had exited out of the Warp, the warp engine malfunction but it would seem there is something waiting for us in this system...
