- <Sandwitches> The Planet Zi
- <Sandwitches> A world home to metallic lifeforms known as Zoids.
- <Sandwitches> These biomechanical entities were once used for battles, but as the wars across the surface of the planet have slipped into memory they have instead become used in sport.
- <Sandwitches> "Zoid Battles" have become a competitive sport where pilots and their Zoids compete for fame and glory...
- <Sandwitches> ----------------------------------------------------------
- <Sandwitches> At the top of a ridge, two zoids stand tall.
- <Sandwitches> One is a modeled after a long blue and purple crested Theropod, the other is a much smaller blue raptor-like zoid.
- <Sandwitches> Down in the valley before them, a trio of yellow Saber Fangs gather, restless as they glare up at the two Theropods.
- <Seri> The smaller zoid is hopping around, keeping itself mobile and distant. It moves away from the larger Theropod, scrambling up to another ridge and shooting the tigers with a couple of small, arm-mounted handguns. It really doesn't seem like it likes to stay in one spot for very long at all.
- <Sandwitches> The Tigers seem... a little spooked by the sudden burst of gunfire, and scatter in three different directions, two of them going for the larger Theropod, and the third going for the smaller one.
- <Seri> The third one has gunfire rain all over its legs as the smaller, agile zoid leaps around, leading it on a merry little chase.
- <Sandwitches> "Get back here you little..." the pilot of the Tiger growls as the Saber Fang tries to leap up the cliffside... and crashes straight into the side of it instead.
- <Seri> From up on the cliffside, the Theropod turns to face its tail toward the two approaching its larger partner, aiming carefully as it hooks both feet into the ground to steady itself. "Three... two... one... Now!" A shot rings out, firing the rifle on its tail just ahead of its targets to lead them into it.
- <Sandwitches> Just as she expected, the Tiger runs straight into the shot, the round tearing off the tigers front left leg and tripping up the other one.
- <Sandwitches> The other one is sent hurtling and is torn out of the air by the jet wire arm of the larger zoid wich smashes the Saber Fang to the ground.
- <Seri> Well, back to dealing with her own pursuer then, if he's still stuck in the side of the cliff, which she figures his speed and angle of leap should be consistant with, she's just going to shoot him with her armguns.
- <Sandwitches> The roudns from the armguns tear into the side of the cliff, but don't manage to make contact with the Tiger, which crashes to the bottom and pulls itself back up to tis feet
- <Seri> If the smaller theropod were capable of making cheeky taunting gestures, it probably would, but the pilot settles for waving its tail around before taking off running and leaping again.
- <Sandwitches> The Tiger Growls and tries a new strategy... digging its claws into the cliffside and slimbing straight ip!
- <Seri> The running theropod just tries to shoot it under the chin when it pokes its head over the ledge.
- <Sandwitches> And sends the zoid flying back, crumpling to the ground in a sparking heap. "DAMMIT!"
- <Seri> "Better luck next battle!" The zoid bounds back over toward its larger partner.
- <Sandwitches> The Larger Zoid is just... casually holding the last Saber fang to the ground, To the Sabers credit its still putting up a struggle, but it doesn't seem anywhere near breaking free. "Take the shot."
- <Seri> The smaller zoid does just that, blasting the Saber to make the sparks start flying out.
- <Sandwitches> The larger Zoid takes a step back and looks to the Judge Capsule.
- <Sandwitches> The Judge enthusiastically begins to wave its arms. "The Fuzzy Panda's are unable to Battle... the Blue Prism Team are the Winners!"
- <Seri> The girl inside the smaller zoid is pretty quiet with her cheering, showing odd amounts of restraint for someone her age.
- <Sandwitches> The Larger Zoid looks down at the smaller one. "You did well, Renee. I'm more confident than ever in having you cover my back during the Cup."
