  1. SHALLAM NEWS #10887

  7. Friends and Companions,
  8.
  9. If you witnessed a misdeed by one of your peers, would you stand idly
  10. by? Would you 'drop the issue' and hope it fixes itself? I should
  11. certainly hope not! Our virtues demand action. It is action that the
  12. Jewel is lacking. Look around you, citizens; the stench of Evil and
  13. Oblivion taints the land. Our holy fire has been smote to a flicker. The
  14. Light dwindles in Sapience, our hearts and minds her last bastion. It is
  15. our charge to cleanse Sapience! Alas, we squander about in poor

  30. With regard to Lord Pentharian, I shall apologize when I feel He is
  31. guiding Shallam to success in her ventures. Alas, the appointment of
  32. Jovaras and the continuation of this defunct political situation is
  33. unacceptable. If He were to facilitate beneficial changes, I would be
  34. far more supportive. This means returning the responsibility of managing
  35. Shallam to the citizens inhabiting it, and resuming a role of support
  36. and guidance to the leadership of Shallam. Or, if that is asking too
  37. much, then at least appointing a Caliph more qualified.
