  1. Hi, I put together a Duke Nukem soundpack for use in a Path of Exile lootfilter. This pastebin contains a readme, a link to the soundfiles, and a link to a video showing some of the sounds.
  2.
  3. Enjoy!

  12. I guess I should explain how I got this working. I could have just converted and renamed the files but I'm lazy and the FLAC files worked. There's probably a better and/or faster way to do this but heck if I know what it is yet.
  13.
  14. You first need to download and install Notepad++ or another plaintext editor with a solid replace feature.
  15.
  16. List of filenames used:
  17.
  18. -Neversink basic sounds-
  19. 1maybevaluable.mp3
  20. 2currency.mp3
  21. 3uniques.mp3
  22. 4maps.mp3
  23. 5highmaps.mp3
  24. 6veryvaluable.mp3
  25.
  26. -Duke sounds-
  27. 1maybevaluable-duke.flac
  28. 2currency-duke.flac
  29. 3uniques-duke.flac
  30. 4maps-duke.flac
  31. 5highmaps-duke.flac
  32. 6veryvaluable-duke.flac
  33. 7mirror-duke.flac
  34. 8tabula-duke.flac
  35. 9fishing-duke.flac
  36. 10scrollstack-duke.flac
  37. 11vaal-duke.mp3
  38.
  39. Step 1: Go to http://www.filterblade.xyz/ and start a new filter. Pick your style and strictness, then go into Select preset. At the top, select Sounds, and pick CustomSounds from the drop down. This automatically fills the filter with Neversink's six custom sounds. We're going to replace those later and add some extras.
  40.
  41. Step 2: Customize the filter to your liking. Make sure to save your changes as you work!
  42.
  43. Step 3: Make some new rules. I have five extra audio clips. Three of those do not need anything special. The other two need a bit of work. To do this, first go to Currency. Click Copy on God Tier 1. Scroll to the bottom of Currency and click Add rule. Paste what you copied, then go back up and drag the Mirror of Kalandra all the way down to your new rule. Click Snd and make sure Custom is selected. Put "7mirror-duke.flac" (without quotation marks) as the filename.
  44.
  45. Step 4: Repeat step 3 with the Vaal Orb, which is located under High Tier 3. Filename will be "11vaal-duke.mp3"
  46.
  47. Step 5: Go down to the Miscellaneous section and expand Misc. Items. There are three rules that need a new soundfile name. If they don't have a sound assigned, make sure to select Custom in the dropdown. These three rules are Wisdom scroll stacks "10scrollstack-duke.flac", Unique Exception: Tabula Rasa "8tabula-duke.flac", and Fishing Rod "9fishing-duke.flac".
  48.
  49. Step 6: Save your changes and download the filter. It will ask if you need to download the sounds. Click cancel and just download the filter.
  50.
  51. Step 7: Open the filter in Notepad++.
  52.
  53. Step 8: Go to the menubar and select Search > Replace. You're going to paste the first Neversink filename into find, and the first Duke filename into replace (replacing "1maybevaluable.mp3" with "1maybevaluable-duke.flac").
  54.
  55. Step 9: Repeat step 8 with the other five filenames. This is the most tedious part.
  56.
  57. Step 10: Since you're reading this, I'll assume you already extracted the .rar. If you didn't, this would be a good time to do that. You can extract it directly into the Path of Exile filter folder, or to a separate location.
  58.
  59. Step 11: Save the filter and copy it and the audio clips (if you extracted them elsewhere) into your Path of Exile filter folder.
  60.
  61. Step 12: By now you should be all out of bubble gum, so go kick some ass. Launch PoE, load the filter, and hope it works.
