Alex backstory

Alex is a young 16-year-old boy who had been stricken by an unknown terminal illness never seen when he was 13. The boy's family are proud of how strong he had been during this time but he had grown weak last two years making it hard for him to even do what he enjoys now. Everyday day his parents had to watch and pray for their baby boy to get better but had to accept he might die before they are ready.

One fateful night the teen had gotten the energy to walk and walked outside while it was raining. Even at his age, he knew he had limited time so what's the point of a little bit of rain? His body sluggishly moved through the grass before light broke through the sky, striking him down to the ground not moving with a burn mark on his chest.

He had been out for months, many months at that, and drastic changes happened in his deep slumber. It had only taken 40 minutes for his parents to have found his body lying still, twitching with bolts of electricity running through him. With no thought, his father and mother took him to the emergency room which leads to where he was now.

They had stabilized him after the lightning strike but the doctors were more shocked by the fact he had no real damage. Besides being in a Coma, his burns were minor. More and more abnormalities started to pop up about his body.
His illness had all but vanished and without knowing, his muscle had mass had started to grow minor, but it was as if his body was rebuilding what it had lost.
His hair, which had been lost during his treatment, grew out pitch black. Originally he had blonde hair. Along with this, his hair was now straight with a bit of spike where it used to be curly.


After waking up, he didn't know who any of these people were. Of course, he knew their faces but he couldn't remember their names. Even then, their faces looked like other people with different names after he would call them that. It took time, he relearned everyone.

A year had passed but he has gotten back to his former self with...troubles. At times he fades out to black only to watch himself move and act differently. Most the time its within duels where he is close to losing. At times he hears a voice, slightly deeper than his own, in his ear whispering how to handle people almost akin to a leader. The voice made himself feel...safe? No, more confident is the better word.
At night he would dream so vividly that he isn't sure they were dreams. He watched himself, or at least he thinks it's him, live another life. He never liked dreams but the current dreams he watched reminded him of a school with all these different people. He watches everything and wrote it down in a journal but at some point, he would start getting them in the day time. The world would go black and he would start to watch everything twist and turn only to awaken when it was over to which he is another place or he had different clothes or in the middle of a duel... All in all, he is gonna be able to write a book.

On his 16th birthday, a few years since it happened, his mind went completely blank. He didn't know what happened but when it came to, it was three weeks since his birthday... and he was three cities away. His phone wasn't blown up so that means his parents he knew he was doing this... He wondered the city for a while but that was all he has gotten before he went black again. By the time he woke again, it was a week but he sat in a room watching the skies move past him with a note on his left. 'Learn this place, I will cover the rest Alex' written in his own handwriting.
