Orbs - Bring back to life

Severus awakes in what appears to be an empty muggle train station. Not another soul is in sight, he quickly checks his neck and discovers that he no longer bears the wounds inflicted by Lord Voldemort or Nagini.

"curious." he mutters to himself, and stands. He checks the pockets of his robes and discovers he still has his wand. When he looks up he is met by the face of Gellert Grindelwald, the renown dark wizard, former master of the Elder wand and one time friend of Albus Dumbledore.

"I'll bet you are wondering what you are doing here in this place." Grindelwald states confidently, striding towards Snape in better health than Snape has ever seen the man depicted as being in. Snape does not respond, instead offering only a steady glare accompanied by his signature scowl.

"You are wondering how you can be here, if you died? You did die, of that I will assure you."

Snape carefully responds in a low, raspy voice

"Where is this?"

Grindelwald takes another few steps to stand directly opposite of Snape before he answers.

"This, appears to be a muggle train station. But that is not where we are, we are between existences and you are here, because someone has decided that your services are needed elsewhere."

Severus briefly ponders the answer and retorts

"In what capacity and where?"

Grindelwald shrugs and retrieves from his pocket a round, clear artifact with a smoky substance floating within it.

"Even I don't know that, what I do know is that you are being given a chance to live again and that your path, if you choose to take it lies within this orb. Think of it like a portkey, a portkey to another existence, one unlike anything you have ever experienced."
