[22:29]	* MissD	hugs it, getting a nice jolt along the the way within moments she returns to Iris cheerfully and tugs her along.

[22:50]	* [Rut]Absolution	nods obediently. She lets her hand cover the front of the flashlight, then crouches low and continues on.
[22:52]	<[Owen]Iris>	Narrator: The basement is far more cluttered than the first floor, with more rooms and rubble, and less clear visibility. It's almost like a labyrinth. A far-off humming can be heard; it almost sounds like a furnace or something...

[22:54]	* [Mys]Violet	closes her mouth quickly after forgetting she should a) whisper and b) not shout ahead...

[22:58]	* MissD	squints as she tries to look for that buzzing sound, not the one the magnemites make.
[23:00]	* [Rut]Absolution	pauses and lets a sliver of light out from between her fingers every so often, making sure the way is clear.

[23:04]	<[Owen]Iris>	Narrator: Abbie detects a sense of... something, not far ahead. Through a door that must lead into some utility room.

A fell "light" that stands out even against the present blackness of the room. She could continue with caution... allow Iris to work on the lock?

[23:26]	<[Owen]Iris>	Narrator: The lock is heavy, but Abbie's sword is of the finest caliber, and this lock wasn't designed with Pokemon strength in mind.

[23:31]	* MissD	giggles as she phases to nothingness one more as she goes pass the door inside.
[23:34]	<[Owen]Iris>	Narrator: The large room is lighted, and in use. At first glance you see some sort of large homemade machine in the middle of what was once a boiler room.
[23:36]	<[Owen]Iris>	Narrator: But more importantly, you hear a gunshot! The flare appears to be aimed at Abbie!

[23:36]	* MissD	immediately "returns" to the group.
[23:39]	* [Rut]Absolution	gasps, but had been prepared for this when she broke in. Her weight shifts mid-stride, turning her forwards step into a sideways spring. The bullet cuts a hot swathe on her back, but does no serious damage.

[23:41]	<[Owen]Iris>	Narrator: Absolution can get a better look at the situation now. There's a man in dark clothing holding a pistol, with an Electrode and Crobat supporting him.

[23:42]	<[Owen]Iris>	Narrator: The man's getting ready to fire again...

[23:51]	* [Rut]Absolution	's eyes fly open. The man is calling for help, but he broke his concentration. She takes the chance and charges!
[23:56]	* [Rut]Absolution	used SUCKER PUNCH! She dashes across the room, closing the distance in but a few fleet bounds to drive the pommel of her sword into the man's throat before the enemy can prepare.
[23:58]	<[Owen]Iris>	Narrator: The man is taken by swift surprise, but fires off another shot instinctively. It's a little more than a flesh wound this time, even through the gun's knocked from his hands.
[23:59]	* [Owen]Iris	runs into the room now, accompanied by Violet. Where'd Miss D. run off to...?
[00:00]	<[Owen]Iris>	Narrator: The man coughs and grabs his throat. He can barely gasp out his commands.

[00:04]	* [Mys]Violet	hears Absolution in pain and doesn't hesitate to retaliate.
[00:04]	* [Rut]Absolution	falls to a knee, clutching her side, near the waist. She grits her teeth.
[00:04]	* [Owen]Iris	inches around the side of the room. Gun. Gun is helpful here.

[00:07]	<[Rut]Absolution>	. o O ( The bullet went straight through. Mild pelvic fracture. No forseeable short-term complications from hemorrhaging. I can still fight. )
[00:09]	<[Owen]Iris>	Narrator: Violet's paralytic cloud hits right on the mark. The two (no, three) enemies are caught completely unawares as the spores lock their muscles down.
[00:09]	* [Rut]Absolution	rises to see a cloud of Violet's toxins descending. She covers her mouth and leaps back with the leg on her good side, but not before inhaling a little.
[00:11]	* [Mys]Violet	finishes puffing a cloud of sparkle filled black that is massive if slow. She sees Absolution making it out safely and sighs some more stun spores in relief...
[00:13]	* [Owen]Iris	holds in her breath. Wow... that was a strong one by the looks of it.
[00:37]	<[Rut]Absolution>	<... He called for others. They will come soon.>

[00:39]	* [Owen]Iris	picks up the man's gun and stuffs it in a cargo pocket of her shorts.

[22:47]	* Kovacs	grabs hold of Komacho's foot and pulls it out from under her, flying out from beneath as soon as her grip slackens. She flies around and up into the air before coming back down giving Komacho a forceful push towards Cole with the momentum.

[23:02]	* Kovacs	inhales deeply, trying to stop laughing, but can't.
[23:05]	* [Owen]Cole	is really unsure of a lot of things right now. He turns to Komacho.

[23:06]	* [BNS]Komacho	suddenly notices Cole looking at her, and rolls to her side, away from Cole, blushing even harder than she was before.

[00:12]	<[Owen]Iris>	Narrator: With Cole's warning, he and Kovacs manages to catch the approach of a man coming by with an escort of a Houndoom, Venusaur, and Slowbro. They've only seconds to act before the man sees them too!

[00:13]	<[Owen]Cole>	"Uhh, h-hide, hide!"
[00:14]	* [Owen]Cole	looks frantically for a good hiding spot for all of them!
[00:15]	* [Owen]Cole	notices the meditating Komacho and Sara. He hisses to them in a loud whisper.

[00:16]	* [Owen]Cole	darts behind a large boulder, dragging Kovacs with him.
[00:16]	* Sara`	descends further. Unmoving on the outside, she finds a combination: A runner, running from parts unknown to only other unknown futures, tears streaming down... its face. The entity looks downward, unable to bear anything but shame.
[00:17]	* Kovacs	looks at the other two, wondering whether or not to disturb them.
[00:17]	* Sara`	remains unable to perceive the world around her, focused in full on the task at hand.
[00:18]	<[Owen]Iris>	Narrator: The mystery group approaches closer and notices the Gardevoir and Machoke just sitting there.
[00:18]	<[Owen]Iris>	Guy: "The hell... He calls this bad company?"
[00:19]	* Sara`	almost feels like reaching out to the runner to wipe away the tears, beckon it to slow down, or raise its head- but refrains. o O ( I cannot. I can't manipulate her like this... )
[00:19]	* Kovacs	grits her teeth, clearly on edge about the situation.
[00:20]	<[Owen]Iris>	Guy: "Are they... sleeping? Well, they will be anyways. Slowbro, Hypnosis. Both of them here"

[00:20]	* Sara`	moves on, slipping further into the zone of uncomfortability. Her body shivers once more.
[00:21]	* Kovacs	grabs onto the boulder, ready to vault herself over to help the other two.
[00:23]	* Sara`	peers into the next layer, but almost retreats the instant she enters. o O ( - This is too personal... )
[00:24]	* Sara`	's arms twitch in response, but she maintains the connection by blocking off most senses.
[00:29]	<[Owen]Iris>	Narrator: The Slobro conjures up a HYPNOSIS at the two meditating girls. They might feel a slight mental tremor, but since they're pretty much out of it already, it doesn't outwardly seem to do much.

[00:29]	* [BNS]Komacho	's eyes flutter rapidly under her closed eyelids as the outside influences on her mind go to work

[00:30]	* [Owen]Cole	says this all in a hushed whisper.
[00:32]	* [Owen]Cole	is freaking out inwardly. Iris said he'd be safe!

[00:33]	* Sara`	creeps through the doorway with special care and takes in what she sees... A version of Komacho hugging several... Cole-shaped dolls to herself, another chasing after and grabbing as many as she can, and then a third...
[00:34]	<[Owen]Iris>	Narrator: The man is observing the two girls curiously. A Gardevoir and a Machoke... gotta be a trainer's... got to be...
[00:35]	<[Owen]Cole>	"Try, try! I don't know how, but... we can let Iris get trapped!"
[00:36]	* Sara`	takes note of her, but shuts her out afterward. o O ( I- ... She asked me to do this. Even still, if i'm having this much trouble holding together... )
[00:37]	* Sara`	's body twitches twice in a row, now, as she forces herself to take that last step to the core of this...
[00:40]	* Kirarin	appears from nowhere just in time!
[00:40]	<Kirarin>	<Oh no! They are in trouble!>

[00:42]	<[Owen]Cole>	"This guy just walked up and put Sara and Komacho to sleep! I think, I think he's with the bad people in the power plant, maybe..."

[00:43]	* Sara`	walks into a room bathed in light. She begins to feel the lightest hints of happiness, bliss, something else- none of which are her own. She flees the room. o O ( No! Too much, too much... Thoughts are different, but /thoughts/- )
[00:43]	* [Owen]Cole	is worried now...
[00:43]	* Kirarin	is also worried...
[00:44]	<Kirarin>	<I can't sneak around and surprise them, either. My fire will get a lot of attention.>
[00:45]	* [Owen]Cole	bites his lip.
[00:45]	<Kirarin>	<But I'll try something.>
[00:45]	<[Owen]Cole>	"Attention, yeah, but... what if you get hurt? Or... ki..ll..."
[00:45]	* Kirarin	hops out of Cole's laps and try to stay out of sight.

[00:46]	* Sara`	's right hand spasms. It almost tears itself away from Komacho's head, but she keeps it in contact somehow... Noone could miss it.
[00:47]	<[Owen]Iris>	Narrator: The guy steps back a little. That was... not right.  Shouldn't they be asleep?
[00:50]	<Kirarin>	<slow, slow. Take it slow. Out of sight...>
[00:50]	* Kirarin	tries to stealth her way out.
[00:51]	<[Owen]Iris>	Narrator: The stealth was not very stealth. Before long the Houndoom takes notice and barks angrily, but by then Kovacs has made her move.
[00:52]	* [Owen]Cole	inhales sharply but quietly. No, Kira!
[00:52]	* Kovacs	moves out from behind the rock, focusing and unleashing an attack on Sara's and Komacho's "dreams". Hopefully this should wake them up... It'll hurt, but...
[00:53]	* Sara`	's "floating" to the higher clouds of Komacho's mind is interrupted by a literal ripping of her vision. The dream and shadow-images of Komacho's mind vanish as she is catapulted into the waking world once more.
[00:53]	* Kirarin	is startled by the bark!
[00:53]	<Kirarin>	KYU!
[00:54]	* Sara`	's hands fly off from Komacho's head to hold her own as she throws it, and herself, back in one swift motion.
[00:54]	<Sara`>	Gaaaar!
[00:55]	<[Owen]Iris>	Narrator: Everything happens at once. Kovacs scares, Kirarin is spotted, Sara wakes up... it's a mess. And that not-nice guy looks not nice.
[00:55]	* Sara`	finds herself on her back, staring into the sky, very much awake. A small migraine assails her as she tries to get her bearings...
[00:56]	<[Owen]Iris>	Guy: "The hell! More, what? Doom, Bro, Saur, take 'em down, I don't care how!"
[00:57]	<Sara`>	<Ahhh- What? What?>
[00:57]	* Sara`	looks towards the voice; her eyes widen.
[00:58]	* Kovacs	gets ready to defend herself, setting her glasses firmly on her nose so they won't move.
[01:01]	* Kirarin	caught a glimpse of Slobro, psychic-type target. Probably the weakest. She sends jet of flames towards it!
[01:02]	<Kirarin>	KYUUU!
[01:06]	<[Owen]Iris>	Nar: The Slowbro is big and fat; the little fox's little fire doesn't do very much.
[01:06]	* Kirarin	growls with frustration.
[01:06]	<[Owen]Iris>	Nar: Meanwhile, the Houndoom lashes out at Sara with a wolfish CRUNCH!
[01:10]	* Sara`	tries to teleport away despite her confusion, but fails! A sickening crunch is heard as the Houndoom closes its fangs on her shoulder and upper arm, dealing immense damage. She screams out in pain.
[01:10]	* [Owen]Cole	watches horrible things happen one after the other! He wishes he could help... so useless...
[01:10]	<Sara`>	<YAAAAAH!>
[01:11]	* Kirarin	stand tall between Cole and adversary. She's afraid, but Cole is useless. It's her duty to protect the weak.
[01:13]	<Kirarin>	<Just go hide somewhere! You are such a bother!>
[01:13]	* [Owen]Cole	thinks... {I have to help... these are my friends...!}
[01:13]	* Kirarin	urges the useless man to go away.
[01:14]	<[Owen]Iris>	Nar: The Slowbro chuckles and squirts at Vulpix with a WATER GUN!
[01:14]	* Kovacs	flies up into the air, does a loop and then goes back down at full speed, apparently to physically attack, but stops in the middle of the air, spins once and tosses a shadow ball at the Slowbro from behind her back.
[01:16]	* Sara`	grits her teeth as she looks at her wound, and then the Houndoom... Between the pain and the bleeding, she can't do anything. A tear falls down her cheek.
[01:18]	<[Owen]Iris>	Nar: The Slowbro was too busy being silly with the fox to notice OH DANG SHADOW BALL! It falls flat on it's face, mind and soul a daze. Though that's not much different from normal.
[01:18]	* Kirarin	cowers! Oh no, water! No water please! it hits her hard and send her flying. bashing herself to the debris behind. Also extinguishing her fiery flames.
[01:19]	<Kirarin>	Kyuuuu!
[01:19]	* Kirarin	squeals!
[01:19]	* [Owen]Cole	clutches something inside his bag... {Not supposed to use it not supposed to use it...}
[01:20]	* [Owen]Cole	bites his lip hard as Kirarin is sent flying.

[01:20]	* Kirarin	scampers herself back into position. it hurts, but not as much.
[01:21]	* Kirarin	is angry, but since she hates getting doused she select other target.
[01:22]	<[Owen]Iris>	Nar: Venusaur wants some action too! It tries to slap at the bespectacled ghost with a VINE WHIP!
[01:25]	* Kovacs	turns and notices the attack too late, getting swatted out of the air and hit into the ground. She looks up, clearly annoyed although hit rather hard, and gets back into position without hesitating.
[01:27]	* [Owen]Cole	winces. No no no, why...
[01:27]	* Kirarin	spots another prey. Grass-looking ugly turtle. Grass burns good, as she recall. MORE FLAME IS NEEDED!
[01:27]	* [Owen]Cole	grabs onto the thing in his bag even more...
[01:27]	* Kirarin	sends a long jet of flames towards Venusaur!
[01:28]	<[Owen]Iris>	Nar: It's SUPER EFFECTIVE! The Venusaur stumbles backwards, hating the burning! It burns!
[01:28]	<[Owen]Iris>	Nar: The Houndoom and Slowbro move in to protect their comrade. They're looking angry.
[01:31]	* [Owen]Cole	keeps whispering to himself over and over about "do it" or "don't do it"...
[01:32]	* Kirarin	won't let them shoot her with that high-pressure watergun again. She run and hide, waiting for another sneaky strike opportunity.

[01:47]	<[Owen]Iris>	Narrator: It’s a Pokeball of some kind, at least, because a Pokemon comes out of it… of some kind. An indistinguishable blur of whites, blacks, and greys, in a seemingly-humanoid shape. This doesn’t seem very kosher…

[01:48]	* Kirarin	's mind is focused. Everything is unnecessary unless it's a green bulb turtle's ass.

[01:49]	* Kovacs	pulls back for a moment, still ready to attack but surprised by the new factor.
[01:52]	* [Owen]Cole	finishes typing and holds the device up above his head. It emits a horrible chaotic mess of sounds, like a trash bin of select noises from the whole world played in sequence.

[01:54]	<[Owen]Iris>	Nar: The "Pokemon" seems to turn around and acknowledges the sound. It appears at least to have a sort of face, marred by blurry blurs like the rest of its "body."
