Descriptive paragraph about a place

   One of the places that I have visited, and that will have a special place in my memory is the beach of Newport Oregon. First of all I will never forget the cool ocean breeze that somehow takes you on a journey across the ocean tides and seems to make you forget where you are and all the things you worry and stress about. When I was at this unforgettable place I was unaware of how much time went by and felt myself being calmed and almost forgetful of all worries and all cares. Secondly the cool ocean mist from tides slamming against boulders that appear from nowhere and landing on my face is something I will never forget. Lastly the sunset over the ocean is in my opinion, one of the hardest things in the world to re-create or match. While viewing the sunset, the water seemed to glisten like diamonds fighting or dancing with each other. I felt as if I were an artist trying to find the perfect combination of color or the perfect image, and that the sun was the solution that I was looking for.

                                      Process Paragraph


   One process that I have done for many years and that I believe people can largely benefit from is the process of performing routine maintenance on home or office computers. One thing that I have proven to be effective is utilizing antivirus, malware, and spyware scans. There have been many times in which I had to reformat my computer because a virus gained access to different portions or programs on my computer and manipulated my computer so badly that my computer no longer performed effectively. Secondly I have personally found that backing up your information is a very good step in case your computer starts to malfunction. There have been several instances where I lost school assignments because of a computer malfunction and not backing up the data before it was lost. Lastly I feel that deleting unnecessary programs and temporary files drastically increases computer speed and performance. Anytime my computer Is acting sluggish, I run a scan that detects memory errors and deletes temporary files, making my computer run much smoother and perform more effectively.


                                  Compare and contrast paragraph

   Over the past several years of living both in the country and in the city I have noticed several major differences between the two. First of all in my opinion, country living and life is a lot more relaxed than from when I had to endure life in a big city. In the country I wasn’t surrounded by the noisy streets and honking horns from traffic or pets barking throughout the neighborhood. The country was always quiet, relaxing and peaceful which made it easier to sleep at night for me. The second difference I started to realize is that there is a big difference when it comes to things to do or attractions that each lifestyle has to offer. I noticed that at times, in the country there is not much to do in the way of entertainment and most of the time, people had to create their own. In the city it was a lot easier for me to find places of entertainment or things to do such as movie theaters or shopping malls without having to travel a large distance. The last major difference and one of the main reasons I personally enjoy the country when compared to the city is that the country seems to have a lot less air pollution than from when I was living in the city. It seemed like a majority of the time I would wake up in the city to look out a window into the surrounding neighborhood only to find a sky fill of pollution and haze or smog from busy factories that are always billowing out smoke from furnaces or other pieces of hardware.
