  3. >Fizzlepop Berrytwist, a few weeks after almost destroying the world
  4. >Sitting in the back of an introductory class on human culture that she had to pass before she would be allowed to cross to Earth and find a coltfriend
  5. >Which she had to do by the orders of both Princess Twilight and Cadance
  6. >"Welcome, everypony, to humanities 101. Your one-stop shop for learning the Dos and Don'ts of visiting Earth." Cheerilee walked in, followed by a tall and lanky creature walking on two legs
  7. >Weird creature, was this one of those humans she'd heard about?
  8. >Obviously, it wouldn't be here if it wasn't
  9. >"Now, does anypony have a question?" Cheerilee asked
  10. >All the hooves went up
  11. >"About the class, not for our guest?"
  12. >Most of the hooves went down
  13. >"Okay, you in the front."
  14. >"What's the biggest difference between pony and human culture?"
  15. >"Good question. Among ponies it's sometimes acceptable to form herds because of the low male population density. Humans have been shifting towards that breeding structure for a few years now and it's left them with a surplus of male humans, some of which have no qualms about dating outside of their species."
  16. >Cheerilee's assistant stood up
  17. >"She's totally right, you know. As a male human the dating scene is brutal, especially if you're looking for a committed relationship. It's so bad, in fact, that the concept of dying alone has become a common joke to talk about with friends."
  18. >"Which is why we are happy to invite humans to Equestria." Cheerilee adds
  19. >"But doesn't the emigration of males to Equestria cause a shortage of males issue on Earth? Is it really moral to pass our problems to another species?"
  20. >Cheerilee's smile darkens
  21. >"They've had what we've wanted for all of history and now they're throwing it away. The cause of their problem is our solution."
  22. >Cheerilee's Anon spoke, "In all honesty, I'm in favor of it, because women aren't really all that nice to deal with." his smile darkens, "They dug their own grave this time."
  23. >"Any other questions? You on the right."
  24. >"What's divorce?"
  25. >"That's a rare human custom in which a marriage is nullified by the state and the bride and groom seperate. In most cases, the bride decides she no longer loves the groom or is caught taking up another lover, after a divorce a very unlucky groom can end up losing everything from shelter and money, to friends and family. It's one of the reasons why there is such a large discrepancy between suicide rates by gender."
  26. >"I thought marriage was forever."
  27. >"It certainly should be." the human said
  28. >The rest of the four-hour class was one part informative, one part horrifying
  29. >After it was done, Cheerilee signed off on it and you took the form to Twilight
  30. >Apparently most humans the portal found for you would be incredibly easy to convince
  31. >You waited in line with the group that was in the class earlier
  32. >The DHA frontdesk mare called your number and you stepped forward
  33. >A pony holding a clipboard read off of it
  34. >"Fizzlepop... Berrytwist?" she said
  35. "That's me." you went to the back with her
  36. >"So, the portal can find you somepony you'll be most compatible with, but you'll only have a few minutes before the portal collapses and pulls you back through." she says, pulling a switch
  37. >The doorway sparks to life, a light blue aura emits from the veil
  38. >"You have five minutes."
  39. >Wow, not stressful at all
  40. >N-not that you cared about finding a coltfriend
  41. >You took a breath and stepped into the portal
  42. >You fall for a brief moment before stepping out into Earth
  43. >You look around
  44. >The air was bitter and dry, like there was smoke everywhere
  45. >And the world was devoid of color
  46. >You look at the notecard you were given
  47. >It read 'Anon Y. Mous'
  48. >You looked to be on a sidewalk
  49. >Cheerilee brought this up in the class
  50. >Watch out for cars
  51. >You were wondering why the humans didn't walk in the open space with the yellow lines when a metallic carriage flew down it
  52. >That was probably why
  53. >Fucking cars
  54. >4 minutes
  55. >The area seemed empty
  56. >Was this some kind of mistake?
  57. >You look again at the notecard
  58. >It was worth a shot
  59. "HEY ANON!"
  60. >Nothing
  61. >"What? Holy shit a talking horse!"
  62. >Above, a person was looking out through a window down at you
  63. >The window shuts and for a moment you wonder if you scared him off
  64. >3 minutes
  65. >Behind you the door to the building opens with a chime and the human from before steps out
  66. "Are you Anon Y. Mous?"
  67. >"Yeah..." He looked a little confused, "What's happening here?"
  68. >You shouldn't be smiling l, but you were hopeful
  69. >You'd never seen a penis in your life aside from that one time the Storm King decided to strut around naked
  70. >If he was like any of the other humans you learned about, once you landed him he wouldn't want to seperate
  71. >Time is of the essence!
  72. >2 minutes
  73. >Anon stares at you nervously, waiting for your reply
  74. >Come on! Say something, Fizzlepop!
  75. >Nothing comes to mind
  76. >You just smile silently and awkwardly
  77. >You really wanted to say something but you had no idea what to say and you couldn't really make yourself speak
  78. >1 minute
  79. "You are... I came here to bring you back so you could be my coltf- boyfriend!"
  80. >"Okay."
  81. >WHAT
  82. >HOW IN THE WORLD WAS IT THAT EASY
  83. "A-and we're going to have foals together."
  84. >"I want five. And I want to invite my parents to the wedding."
  85. >You stare in disbelief
  86. >Any stallion would've laughed you out of the room for that
  87. "And I'm also going to sit on your face."
  88. >"That sounds like fun." Anon gave you a dumb smile
  89. >You didn't really mean that last thing
  90. >You just couldn't believe it was this easy
  91. >Or that Anon had no issues with leaving his home dimension with a strange pony
  92. >30 Seconds
  93. >You grab onto Anon's sleeve with your mouth and pull him back to the portal with you
  94. >Surprisingly, he goes with it and walks with you
  95. >As you step out of the portal, Anon almost trips and catches himself
  96. >The ponies waiting in line after you clapped their hooves on the ground
  97. >"Good job, Fizzlepop. Have a nice lif- Oh! Wait, Cheerilee is hosting another class you and your new coltfriend should attend tonight at 7."
  98. >Anon squats down and wraps his arms around you, lifting you up off of the ground
  99. >"Fizzlepop! I love it!"
  100. >tfw somepony who wasn't your dad hugs you
  101. >"Oh man, everything is so colorful, and you're super soft." Anon's hands ran through your fur as he holds you up to his chest and starts walking for the exit
  102. >"We got a carrier!" the mare with the clipboard says, rushing in front of Anon before he gets to the door, "Honey, you gotta put her down! She needs to be showing you around town."
  103. >Anon sets you down gently
  104. >"Sorry." he gives you another hug
  105. >"Okay, Fizzlepop you need to show him around town, your home, some important places. Make sure you go to Cheerilee's class tonight."
  106. >You walk with Anon in tow, following you like a baby duck
  107. >He kept his hand on your back the whole time as you went through the streets back to your apartment
  108. >It was a small place upstairs from a jewelers/metalworking shop/foundry
  109. >Rent was cheap here because Rarity was a nightowl worker, how else was she going to make all of those fabulous things for her art, she couldn't trust those hook-beaked gryphons to make her jewelry
  110. >You unlocked the door to your home and stepped in, turning on a light
  111. >Anon shut the door and looked around
  112. >The place was sparsely furnished, with the minimum required to make it livable
  113. >Anon drops to all fours and lays on the shag rug you kept in the main room
  114. >"I love these rugs." he says, standing back up, "They're great for sleeping."
  115. >He follows you around, touching everything in your home curiously
  116. >Suddenly you're lifted off the ground again, Anon burying his face into the side of your neck
  117. >"Thank you so much. I didn't know anyone else cared." he says quietly, losing that dopey tone in his voice
  118. >He sets you back down
  119. "It's fine, really. I'm happy to have you around."
  120. >Anon goes back to your living room and looks out of the window by your front door
  121. >"I can't believe this is all real."
  122. "You're not going to wake up back on Earth or anything. This is real."
  123. >Anon stares through the window in silence
  124. >It's 6:45
  125. "I'm thinking we should leave before it gets any later. We wanted to go to that class, right?"
  126. >"Of course." Anon makes for the door a little slower than you
  127. >As you walk with Anon, you can feel him drifting further behind
  128. >He's stopped walking and is just staring into the sky
  129. >It was getting dark, winter really cut down on daylight hours but optimized time for indoor snuggling
  130. >You look up as well, several constellations were already visible
  131. "What are you looking at, Anon?"
  132. >He's just looking upward dumbfoundedly
  133. >"All the stars..." he looks back at you and starts walking again
  134. "Right, you can see the stars at night."
  135. >"Not as much back on Earth. I only ever saw an empty sky."
  136. >You crane your neck back to look at Anon
  137. "Empty sky?"
  138. >"The cities were so bright you could never see anything. The sky is always empty."
  139. "Well we have lots of stars visible at night."
  140. >6:02, late
  141. >But it's just around the corner
  142. >Anon grabs the door for you as you two walk in
  143. >The class didn't start at exactly 6 so it wasn't like you missed anything
  144. >There were a few other mares with their bfs as well, all sitting in pairs
  145. >"Well I think everypony's here, let's get started shall we?"
  146. >Cheerilee and her husbando were up front
  147. >They went together perfectly somehow
  148. >"Okay we've got a lot to get covered in an hour and the most important place to start is to help you two understand eachother."
  149. >Cheerilee's husband went through a short slideshow showing the various nuances in pony facial expressions and what they meant, then over human expressions and the ways they use their hands to talk
  150. >Anon scooted a little closer to you
  151. >Cheerilee went over some nutrition information explaining the differences between pony and human diets
  152. >Looks like Anon couldn't eat that hay you had in the fridge
  153. >Up next were more lewd slideshows
  154. >The importance of caution and magic during intercourse
  155. >Anon's arm snakes around your back and pulls you closer
  156. >Cheerilee flicked through some diagrams explaining what was where on mares and humans
  157. >Apparently humans can mate for 5-7 minutes but it can stretch much further depending on many factors
  158. >Up next was something unusual
  159. >"Chances are, your coltfriend is from the US and there's something you should expect when the time does come." Cheerilee noted
  160. >A few of the guys in the room seemed tense
  161. >"It isn't practiced worldwide, mainly in the US for aesthetic purposes." her husbando added
  162. >They went down a darker tirade on circumcision but quickly explained that what's done is done and love is much deeper than looks
  163. >You look at Anon
  164. "Is uh... Did they do that to you?"
  165. >"Hahaha... Yeah." he set his elbow on the table and turned away from you slightly
  166. "It doesn't matter to me, I like you for you."
  167. >Anon turned back and smiled
  168. >At the end of the class, Cheerilee and her husbando urged everyone to be safe and happy
  169. >Anon and you stepped out into the night, he looked up at the sky again
  170. "It's beautiful, isn't it?"
  171. >"Not as much as you."
  172. >Those words warmed you
  173. "Th-thanks."
  174. >Anon walks with you home, though it was dark, it didn't seem so dark
  175. >"Don't you two look adorable together!"
  176. >You and Anon turn around, it was Twilight
  177. >"You know, I only recommended that you go try to find someone. But I'm happy to see you went through with it!"
  178. >Anon picks you up off of the ground again
  179. >You suspect it's a nervous reaction
  180. >Twilight gasped, baring a cheeky grin
  181. >"Aww, he's one of those ones too." she regained her composure, "Anon, is it? Can I have a moment in private with Fizzlepop here? We'll be right back, promise."
  182. >Anon sets you down again, his random displays of affection weren't unwelcomed but you wished he would warn you
  183. >Anon leans against a pole while you walk off with Twilight
  184. >"I'll be right here! Take your time!" he calls out
  185. >"Do you know why me and Cadance have teamed up to bring ponies and humans together?"
  186. "I get the basics of it."
  187. >"It began a few months ago, actually. I accidentally brought a few humans from Earth while looking through other worlds."
  188. "It's very good that you did, I like Anon a great deal already."
  189. >"And Anon likes you. Much more than you could possibly imagine." Twilight walked slowly down the street
  190. >"But those humans I brought to Equestria had some interesting things to say, it was only jokes but it made me realize the state of their society was decaying like ours."
  191. >You raise an eyebrow
  192. "Decaying?"
  193. >"Nopony values themselves anymore. Those first humans would joke about someone named Anne Hero, but I soon realized they were talking about killibg themselves. They get told they can be anything when they're younger, then they get older and others stop caring, friends just turn on you, family sometimes. Same as here."
  194. "What are you getting at, Twilight?"
  195. >"Even Starlight Glimmer would joke about her stupid cutiemark and how she didn't care for magic. She only wants to fly. Turns out she didn't value herself either, so I played matchmaker with Cadance and coerced them into going on a few dates."
  196. >"The key to loving yourself is finding something you can love about yourself, Starlight and her coltfriend cared for eachother and then found value in themselves through their relationship."
  197. >Twilight stopped walking
  198. >"So, I want you to take care of Anon. I know he might not be the brightest, but he cares about you more than he does himself."
  199. >You wheel around, getting in front of Twilight
  200. "I was planning on being kind to him. What makes you think I wasn't?"
  201. >"I was just worried, me and Cadance picked him out especially for you."
  202. >Twilight smiled hopefully
  203. >"Have a good night, Fizzlepop."
  204. "What was the point in telling me any of that?"
  205. >"It'll make sense in time, I probably should've waited but I can't unsay it now. If you ever have doubts about Anon come see me."
  206. >Twilight turns and walks off
  207. >You watch, confused, and then head back to where Anon was waiting
  208. >He was staring at the ground
  209. >Anon lights up the moment he realized you were coming back
  210. >He breaks off from the wall and walks with you
  211. >"Today's been crazy, don't you think?"
  212. >It has
  213. >It got you thinking
  214. >Damnit, Twilight got into your head
  215. "Yes. Say, Anon, what do you think of me?"
  216. >Anon scratches his head
  217. >"What do you mean?"
  218. "You're awfully attached to me. Why is that?"
  219. >You regret asking, you regret listening to Twilight's crap
  220. >Why couldn't you enjoy this?
  221. >"Why do I like you? Well, for one, you changed my life. It's probably not much but I'm thankful to have you."
  222. "Nevermind any of that." you try to shrug it off
  223. >"What's wrong?"
  224. "Nothing."
  225. >"Was it something I said?"
  226. "No, you're fine. I shouldn't have asked you that. I don't know what I was thinking."
  227. >Anon goes wide-eyed and neurotic
  228. >He reaches for you but stops and crosses his arms together
  229. >His steps are getting more rapid as he walks past you
  230. >"I said something wrong, didn't I? I didn't mean to-"
  231. "No Anon, you're okay. Please calm down."
  232. >Anon takes a deep breath and drops his arms
  233. >"You swear there's nothing wrong?"
  234. "Yes, why do you care so much about what I think?"
  235. >Anon doesn't answer
  236. >"Which way is home?"
  237. "Ours, yours, or mine?"
  238. >"I don't know. I don't ever know what's going on and I'm scared." Anon crosses his arms again and hunches over
  239. >Human expressions were hard to read, so little was said with his face
  240. "You don't need to be scared, I'm here with you."
  241. >"I don't know what's happening, or where I am, or if any of this is real. I'm supposed to be sticking by you and you're mad at me." he explains, a tear falls onto his sleeve
  242. "Is this about my question? I said not to worry about it, you don't need to be worried, I'm not mad at you!"
  243. >Anon sits down on the street
  244. >You take a seat next to him in the dirt
  245. >"If you say so, I'll chill out... Why did you come to Earth?"
  246. "It was lonely here... I... I don't know what I was hoping for, but I found what I was looking for." Anon wraps his arm around your side and pulls you in
  247. >"I'm really thankful you came when you did." he says
  248. >You look up at the skies
  249. "I sort of know how you feel, being in a new world with nopony you know."
  250. >"Almost like you're all alone, at least we've got eachother. That's new."
  251. "Yeah."
  252. >"So, I've been wondering. What happened to you?"
  253. "My... face?"
  254. >"If you don't mind telling."
  255. "You think it's ugly, don't you?"
  256. >"Fizzles, you're easily the most beautiful thing I've ever seen."
  257. >You stifle a bashful giggle
  258. "Nah." you wave a hoof at him dismissively
  259. >"Yeah." Anon pulls your hoof down and holds it against his chest
  260. >You nod
  261. "W-well maybe."
  262. >Anon gets up, hoisting you to his chest as he does, "I think we should head home, it's way late."
  263. >Anon walks home, he refuses to put you down so you have to guide him
  264. >It was a good feeling, being held
  265. >Anon seemed starved for affection, as were you
  266. >But maybe he needed this
  267. >You could imagine what he'd gone through, it was like your own life
  268. >A left, a right, another left
  269. >Anon climbed the stairs and unlocked the door
  270. >He walked in and laid you in bed
  271. >Then Anon walked off
  272. >Was he not comfortable with sharing a bed?
  273. >You crawl out of bed and walk back to the main room
  274. >Anon was sitting on the couch with his eyes closed
  275. "Hey Anon?"
  276. >Nothing
  277. "Anon?" you nudge him with a hoof
  278. >With a sharp inhale, he jolts to life
  279. >"God, you scared me." he says
  280. "Sorry about that. Are you coming to bed?"
  281. >"Uhh... I was just gonna sleep out here tonight."
  282. "Oh... Okay. Goodnight."
  283. >"Night."
  284. >You slink back to your bed and lay down
  285. >It was only day 1
  286. >You just lay in bed, unable to sleep
  287. >It was kind of understandable, Anon had barely known you for a day
  288. >3AM
  289. >The bed felt cold tonight
  290. >You roll over a few times, not able to get comfortable
  291. >Your bedroom door opens slowly
  292. >Anon?
  293. >He walks over to your bed and lifts up the covers, hitting you with a blast of cold air
  294. >Something larger than you slides onto the bed and pulls you in
  295. >You could feel Anon's face in your mane, warming your neck
  296. >It was a little warm with Anon
  297. >But it was better than being cold
  298. >He pulled the covers back over the both of you
  299. >You hadn't done something like this before, this was so much better than the pillow
  300. >When you woke up the next morning, Anon was still there
  301. >He was awake but trying to go back to sleep
  302. >And with both arms wrapped around you, he seemed to determined to keep you in bed with him
  303. >Good lord, he had you in an iron vicegrip
  304. >A-at least you didn't have anywhere to be
  305. >As the sun slowly rose, your room brightened
  306. >At some point a little after sunrise, Anon began to move and get out of bed
  307. >"Morning, Fizzy." he said, brushing his hand down your neck
  308. >You roll to face Anon and get out of bed too
  309. >Anon lifts you off of the bed
  310. >He needed to stop it with the holding
  311. >This wasn't oka-
  312. >Anon sits down on the couch and leans back with you on his chest
  313. >Yet again, you were too comfy to voice your protests
  314. >With Anon's face in your chest fluff, you start going back to sleep with him on the couch
  315. >For a moment you almost forgot your crippling lack of confidence with stallions
  316. >Your biggest issue with ever talking to stallions was sitting right on your face
  317. >N-not like that
  318. >Your horn kind of did cause you to be a social outcast
  319. >Not many stallions wanted to even talk to the scary, lanky mare
  320. >You were what they pictured when they heard the word 'rapist'
  321. >But Anon didn't seem to be able to tell
  322. >As the sun finally began to shine, indicating morning was well over, he decided to wake up
  323. >But you weren't done yet
  324. >Just a few more minutes
  325. >You hadn't gotten cuddles since you were a filly
  326. >Anon didn't argue, and wrapped his arms around your back to better apply your chest fluff to his face
  327. >Eventually, you both come to the silent agreement that it was time to get up
  328. >11AM
  329. >Anon rolls, sliding out from under you and standing up while leaving you on the couch
  330. >He stretches, what a weirdly-shaped creature
  331. >"So what's happening today?" Anon yawns
  332. >You didn't have anything planned for today
  333. >You had a lot of cash left over from Storm King's payroll if you transferred stormbucks for exotic furniture and art and then traded that for bits, and you made profit too
  334. >Basically you were living like a NEET for now
  335. "We should get breakfast... Or lunch at this point."
  336. >You crawl off of the couch and stretch
  337. >Anon starts getting dressed
  338. >H-he was in underwear and you didn't even notice
  339. >All that skin-to-fur contact
  340. >You can feel your face heating up
  341. >"Food sounds good- Hey, are you okay?"
  342. "Y-yeah..."
  343. >Anon picks you up again, looking into your eyes
  344. >"You're such a pretty pony." he says as his nose comes into contact with yours
  345. "Th-thanks."
  346. >You didn't have anything to wear and were getting used to going nude everywhere
  347. >Apparently humans always wore clothes for protective reasons
  348. >Anon straightened out his clothes as you walked to the door
  349. >As you opened it, you are greeted by two of the four princesses
  350. >Twilight and Cadance, you opened the door up moments before they were about to knock
  351. >"Hey there Fizzlepop, we just wanted to check in on you and Anon." Twilight says
  352. "If you're wondering, I haven't killed him."
  353. >"Ahahaha, really try not to, Fizzlepop." Cadance laughs nervously, "We found him especially for you."
  354. >Cadance and Twilight invite themselves in
  355. >"Woah, who are these two?" Anon motions to the two ponies
  356. >Cadance starts making short chat with Anon while Twilight talks to you
  357. >"So how goes things with Anon?" she asks
  358. "He... It's clear he doesn't see me the way a typical colt would."
  359. >"That's a neat thing about humans, their females are evil. You and every other mare in Equestria beat 3.5 billion possible mates by virtue of being capable of love."
  360. >3.5 billion?
  361. >You look at Anon
  362. >He really dropped everything on Earth for you
  363. >"There wasn't much on Earth for him, he's a passionate romantic and his love would be lost on a human female."
  364. "Oh."
  365. >"That is so cute!" Cadance squeals, talking with Anon across the room
  366. >Twilight turns back to you
  367. >"You'll be good to him, won't you?"
  368. "Of course. He- He's the first to ever look past my looks."
  369. >"I trust you, Fizzlepop. Anon trusts you too."
  370. >Twilight turns to Cadance
  371. >"Cadance, do you want to head back home?"
  372. >She nods, "It's a love more pure than any, Fizzlepop. He cherishes you beyond words!" she said in a singsong tune as she practically floated by
  373. >As soon as they left, you look at your hooves
  374. >Why couldn't Twilight trust you with this?
  375. >Your dark thoughts were immediately pushed away by Anon
  376. >He had dropped onto all fours and was leaning curiously into your field of view with impressive contortion
  377. >"Hey, don't look so sad." Anon says
  378. >You straighten up and look away from his game
  379. >He cherishes you beyond words
  380. >Anon makes another move to get into your line of sight but you face away
  381. >"Weren't we going to eat?"
  382. "Yeah. Let's go."
  383. >You lead Anon through the busy streets towards a little cafe you ate at sometimes in the midnight hours
  384. >You notice Anon moving a little sluggish
  385. >He sees that you notice
  386. >"Just a little tired." he says
  387. >You and Anon take a seat at the little table in the corner of the cafe
  388. >Less chance of being spotted
  389. >You trade out the lunch menu for a breakfast menu and look at it
  390. >Anon scoots in next to you instead of across, and peers at the menu
  391. >"I uh... I can't read any of that." he says, pointing at the pony manuscript on the menu
  392. >Anon yawns, "I'll have whatever you're getting."
  393. >As the waiter pony walks up, you make your order
  394. "I'll have an omelet with some daisies."
  395. >"Me too."
  396. >You look around the cafe and notice a pony gawking at you
  397. >She giggles and then keeps walking
  398. >You sigh and stare at the table
  399. >Anon had made you forget that you were still an ourcast
  400. >His hand came up under your chin and turned you towards him
  401. >Anon smiled gently
  402. >He made you forget
  403. >His hand ran through your mane
  404. >"Smile, Fizzy. You're beautiful." Anon said, leaving a kiss on your cheek
  405. >For the first time ever, you finally felt comfortable with yourself
  406. >Even if Anon was incredibly strange, even for a human he was really weird
  407. >He looked at you with an even greater softness than your parents did
  408. >He didn't lie when he said you were beautiful
  409. >You couldn't stop a cheeky smile from appearing
  410. >"There she is!" Anon said, wrapping his arm around you, "There's that pretty smile."
  411. >Tears welled up in your eyes
  412. >How in all the world had you been denied this saccharine love for so long?
  413. >So many years wasted, so many cold nights, far too many lonely days
  414. >The tough commander melted away under Anon's unwaivering gaze
  415. >You lean against him
  416. >You're glad he wasn't sitting across from you
  417. >You just wanted to sit here forever with him
  418. >Anon's hand went through your mane again, settling behind your ear and rubbing in a small circle
  419. "S-so you and I are... Together?"
  420. >Anon stops rubbing
  421. >He is silent for a moment
  422. >Your heart skips a beat
  423. >FIZZLEPOP WHAT THE FUCK
  424. >YOU RUINED IT
  425. >WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU
  426. >"Of course, why wouldn't we be?"
  427. "I... Uh. Nevermind."
  428. >"Well, you came and got me from Earth so that makes me yours, and since I'm not planning on leaving you ever, you're mine."
  429. >Anon laughed and hugged you against his chest tightly
  430. >"You're stuck with me forever!"
  431. >Hahaha...
  432. >You hoped he would never let go
  433. >Finally the waiter came back with your orders, interrupting one of the few hugs you've ever recieved
  434. >Anon looks like he regretted getting daisies in an omelet
  435. >Humans probably don't eat those
  436. >He definitely tried, making a muted cringe with every bite
  437. >"Those sure are bitter, huh?"
  438. "I think they're okay." you were getting used to eating real food instead of Stormâ„¢ food-flavored pudding substitute
  439. >Anon ate less than a quarter of his food and then noted that he had made a horrible mistake
  440. "You can get something else, it's no issue."
  441. >"I'm good, I needed to make some changes to my diet anyways."
  442. >You and Anon walked out of the cafe after paying for the resonably cheap food
  443. >Anon tried to pay with a strange rectangle, and then with green paper
  444. >He seemed really upset when he found out "they didn't take American Express"
  445. >It cost you like four bits for the both of you
  446. >You also found out the Earth economy is in shambles because Anon freaked out over four gold coins
  447. >Apparently he lived on like 3 bits a week
  448. >Something about the value of gold
  449. >You weren't a pony that studied economics, but humans seemed to have no idea how money worked
  450. >Paper wasn't money
  451. >Gold was money
  452. >You and Anon had a whole... afternoon left to do stuff
  453. >And nothing to do
  454. >He sat down under a tree with you, relaxing in the shade
  455. >"So how long have you lived here?"
  456. "Only a few weeks."
  457. >"Before that?"
  458. "I, uhh... I worked for a really nasty guy. He tried to take over the world."
  459. >"And Twilight was just cool with you, no problems or anything?"
  460. "I don't think she trusts me fully... I'm really trying to change."
  461. >Anon lays over in your lap
  462. >"I don't think you need to change, you're already a good pony. I can tell."
  463. >You laugh nervously
  464. "I-I..."
  465. >"She trusts you enough to leave me with you. That or she doesn't care." Anon shrugs
  466. "Do you trust me?"
  467. >"Because I see good in you, yeah."
  468. >You place a hoof on Anon's head, trying to pet him like he did to you
  469. >It isn't as effective when you did it
  470. >After a few moments of your hoof on his face, Anon sat up and drew a knee close to his chest
  471. >"So, what did you do before you moved here?" he shifted uncomfortably
  472. >You suddenly realized what had happened
  473. "Oh my gosh, are you into hooves?" you ask with a smug grin
  474. >"N-no..."
  475. "Ha! Yes you are!"
  476. >Anon crossed his arms
  477. >"I've just... You put them right in my face, what were you expecting?!"
  478. "Tell me, what else do you like?"
  479. >"I've been alone my entire life, I don't care as long as I get to feel intimacy."
  480. >That struck your heart directly
  481. "Yeah... I see where you're coming from."
  482. >Damnit Anon, quit taking the wind out of your lewd sails
  483. >"What did you do before you moved here?"
  484. "I-I... I did a lot of things I regret now."
  485. >"That's okay, everyone makes mistakes."
  486. "I was misguided, I'd take it all back if I could."
  487. >"But then you'd be completely different."
  488. "I'd be a better pony."
  489. >"You're perfect the way you are."
  490. >You look at Anon
  491. >What drove him to be so... good to you
  492. >You'd done nothing to deserve this
  493. >"What about before that?"
  494. "Before what?"
  495. >"Before your job for what's-his-face, the nasty guy who tried to take over the world?"
  496. "I'd rather not go any further into my past. I want to be happy in the present."
  497. >"That's fine."
  498. "What about you, Anon? What was your life on Earth like?"
  499. >"It was... It was empty. I don't really want to go any further than that."
  500. "What do you want to do with your new life here?"
  501. >"I have some plans, but I can't tell you yet." Anon smiles
  502. >You lay down in the grass under the tree
  503. "Why can't you tell me?"
  504. >"It's a surprise for you."
  505. "Well in that case..." you lean in and whisper "Pleeeaase?"
  506. >"Nope. Lips are sealed."
  507. "Are they?" you rush in and give Anon a quick smooch on the lips
  508. >"H-hey! That- that's not fair!" Anon changed from green to red
  509. >You'd never had a kiss before, it was certainly satisfying
  510. >You'd never have done that to anyone else but Anon
  511. >He just made you comfortable enough to let down your guard and act like a normal pony for once
  512. >Anon was still bright red
  513. >You had accidentally gotten too lewd, even for him
  514.
  515. ***A Different segment***
  516. >The rest of the day went quietly
  517. >Anon sat with you in the park, watching the day go by
  518. >No amount of persuasion would get Anon to talk
  519. >Curses
  520. >A few ponies were talking and walking together in the distance as the sun set
  521. "You're killing me, Anon."
  522. >"What? How?"
  523. "I have to know, what is it?"
  524. >Anon sighed
  525. >"I was saving this for a better time, but I think it would drive you crazy to wait any longer."
  526. >Anon grabbed one of your forehooves in his hands
  527. >"And besides, it's beautiful outside right now."
  528. >He shook nervously
  529. >"I wasn't sure how ponies did this, so I asked Cadance - don't tell her I got her name right - and she gave me this."
  530. >Anon produced a bit of silky pink ribbon from his pocket and tying it in a bow around your hoof
  531. >"Fizzlepop, would you. Uhh.
  532. >Anon regains his composure, taking a deep breath
  533. >"Will you-"
  534. >You stop him right there, squealing loudly and pacing in place jubilantly
  535. "YES!" you tackle your new lanky green alien husbando and hold onto him
  536. >The noise attracted the attention of some bystanders, who applauded quietly in the distance
  537. >Another happy couple
  538. >Far away, the crystal heart lit up, one of many times it would light up each day
  539. >Cadance emitted the same excited squeal and paced in place
  540. >Shining Armor came down from the bedroom, to where Cadance had been watching the crystal heart for hours
  541. >"Dear, it's 3am, please come to bed and stop screaming. Flurry Heart and I can't sleep." he said tiredly
  542. >"She said yes! Hahaha I knew she would, true love is real!"
  543. >In the distance, Flurry Heart began to cry loudly
  544. >You try to get up off of Anon, crying joyfully
  545. >He held onto you, keeping you in a hug you didn't want to get out of
  546. ***End Segment***
  547.
  548. >The evening passed into twilight, not the princess one
  549. >You sat in Anon's lap, his arms wrapped around your belly
  550. >No matter what, he always insisted on making contact
  551. >Some humans could be touchy but Anon was excessive with it
  552. >Not that you minded
  553. >As the sun dipped below the mountains in the distance, a pegasus came by lighting the streetlamps
  554. >She paid the two of you no notice as she went by
  555. >You look up at the night sky, staring at the numerous stars and remembering Anon's words about the empty skies on Earth, you gained a deeper appreciation of it
  556. >You laid back in the grass, completely content with sleeping outside if Anon was there
  557. >Again, the human shifted and partially laid on you
  558. >Anon's arm was strewn across your belly and his head rested on your chest
  559. >You think he was asleep
  560. "Anon, we can't sleep out here." you nudge him with a hoof
  561. >He holds onto you a little tighter and grumbles
  562. "No seriously, if we're sleepy we need to go back home."
  563. >Anon went limp for a second before he got up off of you
  564. >"It's not that late."
  565. "You were sleeping on me."
  566. >"I was closing my eyes."
  567. "That's sleeping."
  568. >Anon rubs his eyes
  569. "Come on, I have a bed that isn't grass."
  570. >Anon walks with you as you head back to your home above the foundry
  571. >"Now I'm awake." Anon stretched as he walked
  572. >He always contorted so weirdly when he did that
  573. >Like one of those inflatable arm-flailing tubes but slow
  574. "Well we can be awake at home, I don't like being out at night."
  575. >"What's there to be afraid of?"
  576. "I don't like the dark." you glare at Anon
  577. >"This is probably the safest town I've ever been in. Let me tell you about Detroit..." he rambled off about some place back on Earth that was "loaded with knickers"
  578. >Silly humans
  579. >There was a suspicious white and purple mare working in the foundry while you walked up the steps to the door
  580. >Why even bother locking it?
  581. >Ponyville had literally no crime aside from >rape
  582. >In Ponyville's defense, the human didn't have a waifu and was just walking around at night, in the middle of estrus
  583. >He was kind of asking for it
  584. >He even agreed to that statement in court and didn't file a charge against any of the 23 mares involved
  585. >Speaking of which, you'd have to keep Anon indoors for a few weeks
  586. >Anon grabs the door for you and shuts it behind him
  587. >He lays down on the shag carpet and stretches out
  588. "That's not the bed."
  589. >"I'll sleep here." he says, muffled by the carpet
  590. "No, you gotta come to bed." you tap him with a hoof
  591. >Anon stands up and follows you to bed
  592. >Before Anon can lay down you stand up on the bed and lift your tail up
  593. "Hey Anon, do you wanna maybe..." you trail off, swaying your hips slowly
  594. >Anon stares for a second, computing
  595. >"Tomorrow." he yawns and climbs into bed
  596. "Fine." you grumble, laying down next to him
  597. >Anon was incredibly warm
  598. >And you were pretty tired
  599. >Tomorrow, tomorrow you'd try again when you weren't tired...
