  1. [10:06:04] Anamaria D. Claudius: M'h. That's alright.
  2. [10:06:04] Anamaria D. Claudius: < *Went into her subspace and pulled out some armor.* >
  3. [10:06:56] Enoch Albion: A-any suggestions?
  4. [10:06:56] Anamaria D. Claudius: Wear that n' stuff.
  5.
  6. [10:20:35] Enoch looked rather shocked and surprised at the rather abrupt offering of a gift. He'd never been given anything by a higher up before and so a bashed was all he could give, cheeks reddening at the prospect. Extending a hand in order take up the offering, Enoch was presented with what seemed to be a rather interesting set of armor. He wasn't sure what it was comprised of, it was unlike anything he'd seen before. A few pieces of the set were more comparable to what he'd seen before but all and all it was different. The boy wanted to try the armor for himself but wasn't quite sure if he was deserving of it and thus refused to done it until absolutely sure that it was a piece he could equip and brandish with pride.
  7.
  8. Smiling soft the child thanked Anamaria for her compassionate exchange he questioned the set wondering where she'd gotten it and the origin behind it. The stylish crimson colors and silver pauldron gave off a knightly demeanor but the size and design seemed youthful to say the least, something that a child would wear.
  9.
  10. Holding the armor in his hands, the boy took glances at its stitching and fabric unsure if it'd been leather or some other material. He'd noticed that on the iron wrist bands were engraved markings he'd never seen before but assumed that they may have been inscribed runes of some sort, a form of written magic he'd only read about in books and thus had never seen with his own physical eyes.
  11.
  12. The curiosity and feeling of mysticism the piece brought instilled the child with was insatiable, and he could only hope that the story behind the set had some inspiring merit to bolster its unique design.

  16. [10:29:07] Anamaria nods her head some upon handing him the hunk of metal that was so neatly woven into a suit for him to wear. It's something she had in her storage during her younger days living inside of her mother's house, but sadly enough, it was fit suited for a male, and so she was just left it there to catch some cobwebs. She had been looking to sell it somewhere, but Enoch looked promising and at the ripe age to wear it, so she decided it best to allow him to have it. A pat on the head is given, and she nods.

  18.
  19. [10:57:16] He'd felt rather proud to know that Anamaria was willing to give him what was in a way equivalent to a "family heirloom." Since she considered him ready and imparted a gift upon him he decided to wear it refusing to prove rude before his mentor. In order to change in privacy the boy took to the trees hiding his figure to shield the others from having to watch him.
  20.
  21. Behind the trunk of the tree over wayward the child stripped into his undergarments tossing his clothing aside. The armor was almost like clothing, but the runes engraved increased its overall defensive capabilities through the uses of magic. The design in whole created a versatile form of defense light in weight allowing for little restriction to movement but an optimal form of defense.
  22.
  23. Enoch slipped the shorts on, and the fit was snug, surprisingly so considering his thin build, however it was possible that he'd grown more than he'd presumed. The sheen white was layered with myriad belts and buckles creating a stylish cross between utility and comfort. He assumed that they acted as a holster of some sort to latch sheathes to but he hadn't figured it out yet.
  24. The next piece of equipment was the top piece, a mix between leather and a flexible fabric proved a tight fit, not irritatingly so but snug to say the least. It'd already felt destined that he'd wear the armor, but he needed to contain his giddiness, excitement and so he fought the instinct to squeal but his hurried rush was in order to finish the change and present himself to Anamaria.
  25.
  26. The sleeves were long, suited to protect one from the elements, and the iron bands which cuffed round his wrist teemed to the brim with a magical energy. The steel pauldron on the left side held a sturdy weight to it but it remained light enough not to cause too much tension or pressure on the boy's arm. The black suspenders fashioned to hold everything together were snapped and tightened to fit the boys frame and thus the equipping was complete.
  27.
  28. He felt, exonerated, like he'd been knighted by his mentor almost and it thrilled the child washing away the content he held towards Roan and his brother for having been granted custodian privilege early.
  29.
  30. From behind the tree Enoch appeared clad in crimson, white and silver. He approached Anamaria with blade in hand and sheath latched onto his back for the buckles caused for the weapon to hang too flimsily and low, likely due to the fact he didn't have wide enough hips to accommodate for the design nor was he tall enough. Glowing with pride he exhibited a stalwart demeanor before bowing before his mentor displaying his new arms.
  31.
  32. "What do you think?" Enoch inquired hoping that he held up to the expectations that his mentor may or may not have had on the looks of the armor.

  37. [12:07:15] Anamaria gazed at the young boy within his newly acquainted armor set. His overabundant since of joy and excitement was almost cute. A warm, soft-hearted smile shot to warm the child as she complimented the fit. ”It looks like it was made specifically for you.” she articulated bolstering the child’s pride. She knew little of the armors capabilities, and had overheard Noelle speaking of its inscribed ones once or twice ever, but she’d never experienced it firsthand considering its fit and design. Beckoning the boy closer in order to rustle his hair the emerald eyed custodian sought to explain the story behind the armor to give the child a bit of context about what he was wearing. Knowing of an origin often brought about understanding but in some cases a desire to upkeep, and care for something with a far greater appreciation, more often than not.
  38. As she spoke she began to weave the story of the unnamed piece of armory starting from its very beginnings, or at least as far back as she could recall having only heard it a seldom one or two times from her own father. “the armor set itself was forged many years ago long before your generation, in a time where the name “Silvertongue” held incredible merit and might. The iron and steel which accents the armor was smithed by the great smiths of Frostvale, thus the pieces hold impressive durability, but the real power comes from the woven fabric and inscribed runes you see around the bands you wear now. I don’t recall the writer of the runes but their strength is formidable protecting a great warrior who wore the armor in a battle for Frostvale many centuries ago. The armor has been passed down through the Vaust family since its creation. You may not know of them for they were simple men and women, a small family who rose to little fame or fortune, but their hearts were strong, or so I’ve heard. The last Vaust to wear this armor was Elliot, and he mentored and fought alongside many in Danarium during his youth, and was portrayed as courageous and gentle man.” Anamaria explained, giving credit to the “legends” title.
  39.
  40. As she continued on her story told more of the wearer of the armor and its origins, alongside the trials and tribulations in which it faced. “Elliot was a wind mage who was raised through a period of a great war and the armor proved viable protection to him from the army of depravity, be it Yokai or the sinful mages he fought against. From the stories that those who knew of him told, it was a relic his father used in a battle to protect Frostvale, but was lost during the chaos of war.” Ana proclaimed, her eyes averting their gaze as she thought back upon the past feeling sympathetic for the trying times the mage must’ve faced and saddened by the current state of Valmasia. As she looked to Enoch she felt that he must’ve been similar to Elliot in his own ways for the west was on the brink of war with the east, tensions and claims awaiting violent fruitions.
  41.
  42. Her countenance lightened and she continued on. “It wasn’t until years later that the armor was discovered, in a treacherous condition, nearly torn asunder by the tides of time which wrapped it so. It was said that the man who trained Elliot in the ways of combat was a blacksmith, and that the mage had befriended another magi who showed deep interest in the ways of runes and thus restoring the armor was but a mere task of combining the two’s skills. In a fortnight, the piece was refurbished and donned by the boy who wore it into battle during Danarium’s final battle during that time….And he wore it for years after, a symbol of his father’s stoic courage and his mother’s love and faith…”
  43.
  44. Anamaria knelt beside the boy, raising a finger to prod the center of his chest before her voice lowered. Her mystical eyes were tantalizing as she gazed into the boy’s. “ I pass this on to you in hopes that it provides you with courage and strength to fortify your will. Let it be a reminder that humanity is strongest united.” Anamaria murmured in hushed tones, standing once more. Flattening her wardrobe she beamed with satisfaction, content in her choice of bestowal. Weariness set in and she took to the benches beckoning the child to take a seat beside her. He was her apprentice, and her expectations and hopes were high for the child.
  45.
  46. “Pray to Kraus he aspire to be something…”
