06[02:33] * Thomas checks out possible approaches and escapes while the others set to looting
01[02:33] <Sauber> Thomas notices a map on the wall. it looks like the museum is lined up kind of circularly, as far as that's possible.
01[02:33] <Sauber> Escape would either be to loop around back to the entrance, or head back through the french and guitar exhibits

06[02:35] * Alix looks around to fulfill her Seven Samurai childhood
01[02:36] <Sauber> The light flickers and bounces off of the glass cases of exhibits, sometimes showering a demonlike facemask in light. Soon, though, alix finds her objective.
06[02:36] * Eli looks for this battle axe which I will post ooc.
01[02:37] <Sauber> As usual, many exhibits are missing. But alix's eyes bring her to a blade.
01[02:37] <Sauber> The polished brass nameplate notes that it's an unremarkable, usual blade. Next to it, a handle, described as being found with it originally.
01[02:37] <Sauber> It's dated back several hundred years, and the smith is unknown.
06[02:38] * Alix fingers twitch with excitement. How's the condition?
01[02:38] <Sauber> The iron looks darkened with age, and the handle looks cracked with time, and is sunwashed bright.
01[02:38] <Sauber> But it looks like it could do something.
01[02:39] <Sauber> Eli splits from thomas, wandering the exhibits, searching for something to catch his eye.
01[02:39] <Sauber> Something does, eventually.
01[02:40] <Sauber> A beautiful steel axe, 2 and a half feet long, inlaid with gold, shining in his beam of light
06[02:41] * Alix thinks this is almost, almost the one.

06[02:44] * Alix decides that maybe if she looked for individual items to assemble with Seth

06[02:50] * Alix just pulls out a pistol and hammers the butt of the pistol against the glass until it crumbles

06[02:51] * Alix aims the flashlight up and down the display case. Is there a lock that can be picked?"

06[02:52] * Alix inspects the entire case and the pedestel it stands on. Any sign of a locking mechanism, or anything?

06[02:54] * Alix tries to...what? Push, pry, open, slide, grab, bang, manipulate it

06[02:58] * Alix reaches in and grabs the blade very, very tenderly

06[03:03] * Alix examines the case one last time before just outright tipping it over
[03:03] <Eli> "I'm ready."
01[03:05] <Sauber> Nothing. Looks like that was the lock."
06[03:05] * Alix closes her eyes and she shoulders the thing over onto the floor, and covers her ears once it's falling
01[03:05] <Sauber> CRACK! The glass shatters loudly, leaving the blade on the marble floor.
06[03:06] * Alix pulls out her suffel bag and wraps the blade, tenderly, in it.

06[03:09] * Alix looks around for a handguard, a scabbard, and a hilt to finish her sword

06[04:14] * Alix pulls out her nearly stupidly long bowie knife and goes for the kill

01[04:17] <Sauber> Despite this, though, it goes in to try and bite her shoulder! Deja vu, man.

06[04:23] * Alix gets out her bottle of alcohol and an actual real bandage
06[04:23] * Alix gets to work on fixing his foot before it becomes a bum foot or a lost foot
06[04:23] * Eli shoots the last bullet in his .44 into the dead zombie corpse and reloads.

01[04:24] <Sauber> Alix does a pretty decent number on that leg, following proper procedure, with proper sterilizer, too!

06[04:26] * Alix grabs the radio and activates it. "Hey, Seth. If you had a choice between a mace and a spear, which would you choose?"

01[04:26] <Sauber> "What the fuck's all that shooting in there? just grab a mace or something and get the hell back here. It's damn pitch black out here and we need to get somewhere safer."

06[04:28] * Alix grabs the duffel bag with the blade in it, and goes back to work looking for the rest of the peices, and a fucking radical mace for Seth
01[04:28] <Sauber> She finds a pretty normal mace, but doesn't find matching pieces. There are other pieces that will fit, but none of them are the original parts.

01[04:29] <Sauber> A close examination of the nameplate on the pedastal where the blade was notes that the blade was the only recovered piece and it's likely that it was never assembled.
