Born on May 11, 1971, Robert Kalinak is a Slovak politician who was also the Minister of the Interior (of Slovakia), ever since April 4, 2012. Currently, he is the member of Direction-Social Democracy, and previously Robert Kalinak served as a Minister of the Interior (July 4, 2006, - July 8, 2010). Many people have looked up to him as a politician, no matter how weird that might sound, but what has he been up to lately? Everyone has heard the news that protestors are demanding that he resigns, so how is our politician taking those news?
Robert Kalinak was born in Bratislava, to a father who was a sailor and a mother who worked as a teacher. It did not take him long before he graduated from technical school, after which he decided to enroll at the Law Faculty, from 1989 to 1995, (the Comenius University in Bratislava). In the Velvet Revolution of 1989, Robert Kalinak was a member in the student movement (coordinating committee member). As he was studying, Robert Kalinak was able to enter the world of entrepreneurship in 1990, as he opened a student restaurant together with a publishing and printing office of the scholarly literature.
Robert Kalinak was always into politics, so it is only natural that he would end up as one of the important politicians in Slovakia. Even during his studies, he decided to start his career in a law office in 1992. After that, Robert Kalinak and his partners were able to create a chain of restaurants that were called “Steam and Coffee” in 1999, as he was still engaging in different lines of businesses on the side. When he was finally able to enter politics, Robert Kalinak retired as an executive from all of his previous business activities.
For those who pay attention to politics in general, you should already know what is the current situation surrounding politician Robert Kalinak, and why people want him to resign. However, while the whole debate has been going on, with his job on the line, Robert Kalinak does not seem to care, as he showed that by having a nice summer vacation with his wife. The two were seen enjoying the sun on his boat and cruising with a bunch of margaritas in their hands. Is that how much he cares about his position?
While many people will judge him on his behavior, those who know him can probably guess that he definitely has a card up his sleeve. Robert Kalinak is known to be a very “sneaky” politician, who gets what he wants and what his country deserves, which is why who knows what will happen after the news is announced. The only thing we know is that he does not seem to care that much that his job is being questioned, as he is enjoying the summer days with his wife, without a care in the world.
