  1. Seems like his book was ignored anyway. Oh well, wasn't Camus' fault. Scratching the back of his head, he would look down at Zephyr as he said that he was trying now. The magii would hold his breath a little bit as Zephyr's hands were held out. . . He was ready for at least an orb of water. . .!
  2.
  3. But, nothing. Not so much as a splash. Just a few ripples. Camus sighed a little bit and shook his head. What did he need to tell Zephyr. . . Hmm. . . "C'mon, you just gotta put a little more 'you' into it!" Then, the magii dressed in robes would nod a few times, as if it made perfect sense.
  4.
  5. Of course, it did make sense to him, because he was a water magii, so of course it made sense to him.
  6. (Camus)
  7. Zephyr disregarded the book entirely for the simple reason that he could not read, therefore ... The book has no attention paid to it. He would learn eventually, if people decided to help him learn such a thing -- probably Rosalie, in truth. The Sarradian's hands are held towards the water still, weakly causing a powerful rumble within it -- causing ripples to form.
  8.
  9. Once Camus tells him to put more of 'him' into it, he closes his eyes, focussing for a few seconds.
  10.
  11. "... Okay will work this time. Am sure." He tells himself, before he goes at it again.
  12.
  13. Ripples form this time -- and it slowly begins to pick up ... However, before it could make it more than four inches above the surface, it crashes back down. He'd lost control, unfortunately..
  14. (Zephyr)
  15. Camus was getting excited.
  16.
  17. Here he was teaching another kid magic as if he were a book himself! Of course, he was with an incredibly gifted magii, but, he too was an incredibly gifted magii. Perhaps there was some sort of merit here. . . Then, he would think for a moment. Then he would nod.
  18.
  19. "Calm! Staaaaaaay calm. Focus on your air! Iiiiin deep, out deep. Iiiiiiiin deep, ouuuuuut deep. . ."
  20.
  21. Camus would show Zephyr how to breath, partially with his hands, partially with his body. Iiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnn, the hands would raise, then ouuuuuuuut, the hands would lower. Iiiiiiiiiiiiin, and ouuuuuuuuut. Camus would show with the water ball in his hands.
  22.
  23. If Zephyr didn't get it this time, then, Camus would help him with the next attempt.
  24. (Camus)
  25. The Sarradian was going to give it another shot, probably more, but -- well, he was going to keep trying until he could get it right.. He was a Sarradian -- it should have bent to his will in truth, the water.. His great grandfather was the legendary Amir! A master of water magic! Only rivalled by Ryan Kyros..! How could he not do this?!
  26.
  27. "... Yes, am staying -calm-," He fumes, frustrated -- trying to stay calm, but ultimately not succeeding. There was a bit of frustration with how they were pshing him gently to learn magic, and how he was incapable of comprehending it.
  28.
  29. Or rather, it was so close but so far. His hands move towards the water once more and he tries to push and pull the water to him and away, giving it another shot.
  30.
  31. It's successful -- mostly, but not the greatest. Water is terrible and shaky, and as he brings it away from the source, it ... Falls, crashing into the ground.
  32.
  33. "Urgh..!"
  34. (Zephyr)
  35. But the Sarradian couldn't, so he had to work. Taking in a deep breath, Camus would nod his head up and down quickly. The orb of water was nice, shaky though. . . And, it was kinda dripping water all over the place. Huffing a little bit, he would tilt his head from side to side and wonder. . .
  36.
  37. Then, it all came crashing down. Camus placed a hand to his chin. Hrm. The finger would tap slightly as he tried to figure out how to explain it better. The finger would soon travel up his face to press his glasses further up his face, so that it was actually resting on his eyes and not on the tip of his nose.
  38.
  39. "Close. . . Close. . . Caaaaaaaaaaalm!"
  40.
  41. When Zephyr tried again, Camus would apply his own mana to it a little bit to give it some shape and try to ease the process for Zephyr. If he could make it easier, then slowly take off the training wheels, maybe it would be easier for the Sarradian to learn how to make the water float.
  42. (Camus)
  43. Another failure, another way back to the drawing board.. Zephyr was growing frustrated as he continued to fail, but perhaps this would slowly drive him towards success. He looks at Camus, who didn't offer much else -- besides become calm. Zephyr grew increasingly annoyed with such suggestions ...
  44.
  45. As he begins, this time -- he can only remember how calm he's supposed to be, and fists clench -- violent lightning can be felt around him for only brief moments as the water shakes and trembles beneath his grasp. It had come up from the water this time like a large tendril, with intentions made to simply try and form a ring.
  46.
  47. ... However, the frustrations of being told to be 'calm' with his water and nature magic only drove him further over some sort of edge.
  48.
  49. His eyes close, and the water bursts -- a geyser seemingly forms briefly, flooding the land around him..! Zephyr himself is ... Well, enraged as anytihng near him could be overwatered and drown. Whoops.
  50.
  51. "Cannot do it -- am so -- am so du--" With eyes opening, he realizes that he is, once again, not helping the garden out at all here ... "Am so dumb -- aaa, help!!"
  52. (Zephyr)
  53. He was ruining her garden once more, and he kenw that she would not be happy ... But the boy was frustrated -- incapable of fixing it this time, something that he was wholly incapable of!
  54.
  55. The water continues to flood around the area-- it's not something that he can easily fix unless he can actually calm himself down. Perhaps it would be best to grab a shovel or a broom and try to push it back into the ocean, but for now, the water floods into the ground, either watering anything that didn't need to be watered, or drowning it viciously.
  56.
  57. "Urrrgh, is so difficult -- cannot ... Urrrrgh, cannot fix this -- but has to!!" He says, even if Camus had likely walked off to finish reading his book. He was still standing in a man-made lake ... Within the garden.
  58.
  59. For one of Rosalie's better friends, he was really good at hindering growth here.
  60. (Zephyr)
  61. Flooding the garden was probably the worst thing he could've done, and now he had to fix it -- his mana circuits begin to glow as he attunes himself to the elements briefly, something that opened him up to danger, but ... At the same time, allowed him to have a somewhat better control over the area. Vines attempt to rise to act as walls for the water, but they also sink back into the ground almost immediately.
  62.
  63. "Water is so -- angry, so -- urrrgh, is so hard!" He fumes to himself, and with the power of the elements attuned to his circuits briefly, he does the best that he can.
  64.
  65. ... He awkwardly makes the water change directions back to the ocean, and push itself back in as small waves. Ah, how effective..!
  66. (Zephyr)
  67. It was slowly working, and eventually, the Sarradian was making the waves go back into the ocean. His control slowely got better as this process goes on, wokring towards getting it back into the ocean. Water is picked up in orbs, as he begins to calm down, while frustrated ... Shaky, of course, splashing -- but it certainly went by a lot faster as he did it.
  68.
  69. The waves of water push towards the ocean, spilling in -- and he turns back to the garden, and breathes in.
  70.
  71. He could do this..! Water collects towards him, in waves, any excess that the ground wasn't absorbing -- it tries to come towards him so that he can put it back into the ocean. Hopefully, Rosalie never knew this happened.
  72. (Zephyr)
  73. For once, the water magic works -- it follows his commands, even if it was somewhat crazy as it moved -- he finally had a hold over it, even if it was incorrect.
  74.
  75. Water magic had been achieved, the same as nature; with extreme difficulty and a lot of moping afterwards.. This time, he didn't end up zapping a plant to death by mistake. That was a good thing. Zephyr turns away from the idle Camus.
  76.
  77. "... Well, did kind of -- am going to go now." He says quickly. It takes a few moments, but the boy is soon gone. He'd explain later if Rosalie noticed that some of her plants were ... overwatered.
  78. (Zephyr)
