Dry Bowser and Petey Piranha Play Ball

Dry Bowser was practicing his baseball skills as he was swinging his charcoal baseball bat, holding it firmly with his bony hands as he was slamming the baseballs that Petey Piranha was spitting at him, the balls of base going high into the night sky at the baseball stadium recently built in one of the tropical beaches of Isle Delfino, with there being no one in the stadium.

"Keep it up, Petey!" Dry Bowser stated as he practiced his swinging, nodding his head as he brushed back his red hair that stuck out prominently from his skull. "I got a good rhythm going right about now!"

"You sure know how to hit them, DB! You remind me of the old King himself." Petey stated as he stretched his big green leaves, adjusting his red pouch. "Me and him would try to see who can get the most grand slams."

Dry Bowser smirked at this as he stretched his dusty bones, getting all the dust off of them after shaking himself quickly. "Don't you think you're aiming a bit high?"

Petey flapped into the air several times as he made a big slam on the grassy terrain below him, approaching the dirt mound as he took in a big breath. "That's only if you decide to not bring your A game to the ball game!"

Dry Bowser: (smirks) So, what kind of baseball bat do you use?

Petey: (laughs) I don't need one. I just use my leaves to slam anything!

Dry Bowser was curious as to what Petey meant, so the mutated piranha plant showcased this by spitting out a baseball and slamming it right into Dry Bowser with one of his leaves, accidentally breaking the skeletal reptile into a pile of bones. Dry Bowser was caught off guard by this as Petey apologized, not taking in the fact that he was quite strong.
