  1. Setting: Axess is a singularity, a point in which all of the countless dimensions and timelines of existence can cross over. Certain individuals have managed to find their way to Axess, with each of them representing a different world, and all of considerable strength and talent. However, the dark lord of The Outer, the space between spaces, seeks to gain control of Axess and spread his darkness throughout all dimensions. A battle for the fate of reality itself is about to begin!

  4. Card System: Instead of traditional MOBA equipment upgrades, players will instead form decks of cards. Each card represents a bonus, and can fall into several categories. When the player levels up, they draw three cards, pick the one they want the most or is best suited for the situation, and then discard the other two. Players can have 30 cards in their deck, but only get 10 level ups per match, meaning you'll need to be careful what to pick. Each card has a power level, and decks can only reach a certain limit of power. You can also only have a maximum of 3 of the same card in a deck.
  5.
  6. Cards fall into one of three categories. Basic cards are unlocked by default, and represent simpler, but still very useful, upgrades, such as stat boosts. All basic cards have zero power, allowing players to pick them more freely. Players can have 10 Basic cards in their deck. The second category are Class cards. Players with start with a set for each of the five classes in the game (Melee, Ranged, Tank, Control, Support), but more can be unlocked through card packs. Class cards can only be used by characters of the designated class, and tend to fall into buffs and effects that would benefit them. They have lower power levels overall, and players can have 15 in their deck.
  7.
  8. The final category are Character cards, which are completely unique to each individual character. Each character has a default set of cards, but more can be unlocked through card packs. Character cards directly benefit the playstyle of the specific character, or can even completely change how they play! Character cards tend to have a higher power level, and only 5 can be included in each deck, so players will need to choose them wisely.
  9.
  10. Characters:
  11.
  12. Melee Class:
  13. Tomoe, the Crescent Blade
  14. Dimension: Japanimals (JPA)
  15. A rabbit samurai from a dimension similar to feudal Japan, but with animal people. She's fast and armed with a sword empowered by the moon, and excels in close range combat, but has limited ways to counter ranged characters.
  16.
  17. Superhero and Mecha Stand - A sentai-styled hero from a superhero dimension, alongside his mech that acts similar to a stand. Has high damage, but has difficulty getting up close.
  18.
  19.
  20. Ranged Class:
  21. Stitch Jack
  22. Dimension: Wicked West (WIW)
  23. A scarecrow cowboy from an Earth ravaged by a magical apocalypse. Armed with twin guns that fire magical bullets, Jack is better the further away he is from his enemies.
  24.
  25. Robot/Cyborg DJ - A DJ from a world where techno and vaporwave rule the world. Has a holographic turntable they carry with them that can fire out bursts of sound as projectiles, and can also create AoEs to help cull foes.
  26. NOTES:
  27. - I need to figure out a design where this doesn't clash with a bunch of other things. I want a goofy head, preferably something completely electronic, but I know there was a whole thing where Fortnite had to cut a costume for being too similar to a DJ costume in Paladins, so I don't want to have to deal with that.
  28. - Needs a name and pronouns. Name obviously should have DJ in it somewhere.
  29.
  30.
  31. Tank Class:
  32. Magic Armor - A living suit of armor controlled by the disembodied mind of an old wizard, coming from a world based on fantasy RPGs. He can create large shields to defend against ranged opponents, and can grant temporary defensive buffs to allies.
  33. NOTES:
  34. - I've had this character idea for years lol
  35.
  36. Zombie Tank - A large zombie/modified human corpse from a zombie apocalypse dimension. He acts as deterrent with a poisonous aura, and other toxic abilities
  37.
  38.
  39. Control Class:
  40. Machine Hunter - An elderly hunter that comes from a world of clockwork jungles. He's armed with an arm mounted electric cannon that connects to a pack on his back. He can slow enemies down and lay traps for added area control.
  41. NOTES:
  42. - Needs a pompous as fuck name. (potential names: Sir Strutthord, Lord Bazilworks)
  43.
  44. Zelth - Lord of The Outer, seeks to conquer all dimensions through the power of Axess. Has powerful melee strikes, but focuses on creating shadow minions to bring enemies closer to him and farther from his teammates.
  45. NOTES:
  46. - debating if he should be melee or control, i think control works better but he might end up either too weak for his playstyle or too strong for his class
  47.
  48.
  49. Support Class:
  50. Sera - An angelic orb that resembles an eyeball, with floating wings. May literally come from heaven, it's ambiguous. An entirely support based character, focusing almost entirely on healing.
  51. NOTES:
  52. - Maybe can fold out into a more humanoid form, but stays an orb most of the time.
  53. - Behaves like a magical girl anime mascot, completely sincerely.
  54.
  55. Three-Seven - A large slot machine robot from a gambling dimension. While he has stats equivalent to a Tank, his abilities are focused on granting a variety of stat boosts of different kinds - though as you might expect, this tends to be randomized.
  56. NOTES:
  57. - random buffs would probably be on ultimate, needs other support abilities for his normal abilities.
