  1. [17:32] Denial.
  2.
  3. "N-no, this can't be real.. this can't be real.. a-aha.. this is.. this is..not real.. N-not Rinn.. not.. another one.. no.. p-please, no.."
  4.
  5. She can't handle it, she absolutely can't handle this. Not after all these years, not after all they've been through as children. This could not be true, this could not be real. Marie, Eirene and now Rinn..?
  6.
  7. "A-aha... ahahah.."
  8.
  9. The small Teraphim stares at her friend's remains, uncontrollable tears rolling down her cheeks. This.. void.. inside her chest, it's crippling, suffocating, she - she can't breathe.
  10.
  11. Biru falls on her knees.. gasping for air like a fish out of water. Rinn, her friend, one of her last friends was murdered before her eyes, striped away from Theria, stripped away from Biru, stripped away from.. her own children. Why did Mihalis have to kill her? Why did he have to kill a mother..?
  12.
  13. "I.. I can't believe it, I.. I.. how.. can he talk about respect when he steals her away from us.. I.. I.."
  14.
  15. W-why did I even come back..? Why did I open my eyes? W-why did I not simply stay asleep? Why..? Why am I losing everyone..? The extravagent artist can't take.. it anymore. She.. can't. No amount of drugs, money or colors could fill this hole - it was too much. It was.. the last straw. She couldn't take it anymore. She.. couldn't.
  16.
  17. Anger…
  18.
  19. "N-no Rinn- no.. no-no.. you didn't fuck up.. n-no.. no.. no.. yo-" The little Teraphim starts beating her fists against the marble floor, screaming.. crying in agony. She couldn't - she didn't want tobe alone. She.. didn't want to live knowing full-well that she witnessed her friend's death and didn't even lift a finger.
  20.
  21. She had to do something, anything to redeem herself.. even if it meant death.
  22.
  23. The teraphim-waste pushes herself from the ground, clenching her tiny hands into firm fists. She will.. not tolerate this.. she had to do something. She had to do the unthinkable and breah the rules.
  24.
  25. Suddenly, Biru kicks the floor beneath her feet in hopes to attack Mihalis. "WHY DID YOU TAKE HER AWAY FROM US, WHY?!" She's going in.
  26. (Biru)
  27. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  28.
  29. [17:34] Perhaps it was the violence that was thrilling, or maybe the winds of change shifting rapidly before everyone's eyes. Rinn may not have been one of the top people on Kofe's better-dead-than-alive list, but she fought honorably and for a cause she believed in.
  30.
  31. To kill one that had killed her beloved.
  32.
  33. There was a tinging feeling in his chest, a sensation he couldn't quite explain from seeing such. A debate on whether it was better to avenge a fallen memory or try to prvent it from happening once again.
  34.
  35. He opted to step in, seeing Biru's own emotions spiralling out of control and a certain... insanity setting in within her gaze. She was about to do something she'd regret - if she could even regret.
  36.
  37. A hand came up on the Teraphim's shoulder, intent on holding her back.
  38.
  39. Forcing her back if he needed to.
  40.
  41. Silent, but a gaze that told it all. A life thrown away was a waste.
  42. (Kofe)
  43. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  44.
  45. [17:40] Esther Aryn says, "Biru.. noooo."
  46. [17:51] "--"
  47.
  48. As her fist is about to reach Mihalis' form - a hand reaches out to pull back the poor, broken Teraphim. She can not- she can not battle Mihalis yet. Someone is denying her right to protect her friend, her bestfriend. Who would dare stop her- who would dare to-
  49.
  50. Twisting her body, her hues catch glance of- yet again, another friend of her past. Kofe.
  51.
  52. "N-no, no.. why- whY--WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?!" Biru's freaking out. She can't understand why her friend would stop her to avenge Rinn's death - why would he deny her the right to do this? Why..? Why..?!
  53.
  54. Why is the world so cruel today?!
  55.
  56. All of Biru's hate - all of her Biru's spite is now turned in the Rhoynur's direction. In her twisted mind, he's no longer a friend - but an enemy. This sudden rush of emotions cause the three little shards that were sleeping at the bottom of her satchel to shine and immediatly slip out to come, and aid their mistress.
  57.
  58. Juzo, Plu and Zele hiss at the Rhoynur as Biru releases all she has against him. Her number one goal was to beat Kofe no matter the cost and run back to catch up with Mihalis.. Blinded my vengeance and hatred, Biru couldn't see anymore.
  59.
  60. She lost so much today she just - snapped.
  61. (Biru)
  62. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  63.
  64. [17:55] She was unhinged. That much was obvious, and she'd die if she went up against Mihalis in his moment of glory. He couldn't let Biru fall like that. Not when her mind was at its lowest point. After all it was the reason he'd backed up Mihalis for a bit, that he'd fought against Scarlett, and that he outright told Finley one's crime should be forgiven if their mind isn't proper.
  65.
  66. Right now, his Teraphim friend wasn't at the best capacity when it came to her own mental wellness. He'd resolve that.
  67.
  68. His lips parted and a few words escaped him.
  69.
  70. "Because you're not making that mistake on a sane mind."
  71.
  72. If she wanted to make such a mistake she'd have to be in her proper mindset. Not... addicted, falling, fearing the future, and suffering like this. A gentle hum came about the room before Kofe unleashed it all at once.
  73.
  74. Within Biru's head would a Symphony erupt. A song from the man's heart aiming to quell away her pain. A repose for the mind, and an ointment for a broken heart.
  75.
  76. The stars above shone from atop the mountaintops, Iberl's influence being felt in every strum that came forth.
  77. (Kofe)
  78. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  79.
  80. [18:03] {Won Dangerous RPB against Biru}
  81. [18:10] Their battle was one that was far, far closer than Kofe would have expected. If it weren't for the fact that Biru's mind was in overdrive at the moment the young man may have had an easier time. Regardless, Kofe managed to best the Teraphim in battle, throwing her off onto the ground and wasting no time with his approach.
  82.
  83. "Let me help you." He said, kneeling down at her side.
  84.
  85. His right hand suddenly reached out for her face, palm pressing up against her forehead as he managed a more solid grip upon the girl. It wasn't painful, no. It was to try and make that contact between them inevitable. A transmission of one's deepest, heartfelt melody. A song that infiltrated Biru's mind with not only Kofe's own ability to do so, but enhanced further by the stars above. Cosmic influence wrapped itself around each and every note as it danced upon the girl's mind.
  86.
  87. A soothing melody. A loving embrace. A feeling of... protection; the kind that stemmed not from worry, but rather love. He didn't want to watch Biru lose her mind and her life over a few mistakes. And he'd make it obvious with this symphony of appreciation being played.
  88.
  89. One powerful enough to quell this rush her addiction brought about.
  90. One hopefully powerful enough to help her accept Rinn's death.
  91.
  92. For Kofe believed madness could be controlled.
  93. (Kofe)
  94. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  95.
  96. [18:37] An unhinged beast, that's how the Teraphim fought. She- never really had to fight in her entire life, beside once, for Rinn when Biru was just a child. She lacked technique and instruction but for her lack of skills - her emotions and her three little friends would fill the gaps.
  97.
  98. She was not warrior but in great moments of rage, anyone can be dangerous. Even if it's just a desperate little creature trying to seek revenge and, Aschea knows how feisty this one can be.
  99.
  100. Even in the face of death..
  101.
  102. Thrown onto the floor, Biru is stopped momentarily. Her whole body freezes under the impact. Normally, it may be enough to throw her out of the game but, in this occasion, she was more than ready to bounce back and run after Mihalis.
  103.
  104. However.. Kofe doesn't allow such and is fast enough to hold her tight enough for her to be forced to listen.. to this soothing melody. At first, the Teraphim proves herself to be very relucant. Her own hand comes to grip the Rhoynur's wrist and squeeze as hard as she possibly can..
  105.
  106. B-but..
  107.
  108. This melody… instead of bringing out her the horrible that unfolded before her eyes - it brings out.. good, fond memories of Biru's childhood in Theria.. it makes her remember how she first met Rinn when the little Teraphim was barely thirteen and just a courier trying to transfer a letter to Bastiel. These coral hues, her wavy lilac locks.. her smile.... she'd remember these traits forever. R-Rinn's children were so similar…
  109.
  110. She.. was barely gone and yet Biru was already missing her..
  111.
  112. Slowly, her grip over Kofe's wrist begins to fade and Pli, Juzo and Zele - who were most likely banging their shards against the Rhoynur's back, slowly falling asleep.. again.. to finally, slowly fall onto the ground.
  113.
  114. Tears roll down Biru's cheeks as she.. slowly tries and curl into a ball.. sobbing.. like the broken woman she was. Her will to fight is no longer here.. madness, reduced to it's maximum but she could never accept Rinn's death, nor Marie's.. nor Eirene's betrayal.
  115.
  116. She mutters between her lips, with a muffled voice. "W-why.. why.."
  117.
  118. Why is she being punished again?
  119.
  120.
  121.
  122. (Biru)
  123. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  124.
  125. [18:44] Kofe gave her the time to curl up, to suffer through that pain and try to let it pass. For the tears to fall, and the world around them to collapse a bit. For cold and darkness to be the horrible embrace of loss that had to be undergone.
  126.
  127. .. And he finally pulled Biru off the ground, carrying her fragile, crying self in his arms despite the tears, despite the pain, despite all the betrayal.
  128.
  129. Just how many more people would Biru have to watch die before her own time came? Would that golden gaze that peered down to ensure she was still alive extinguish itself before her spirit was sent away, or would her life be brought to an end abruptly?
  130.
  131. Sleep could not erase issues. Neither could running away from it.
  132.
  133. Theria's shift brought Kofe a project of his own: An addicted friend to try and cure from her affliction, her addiction.
  134.
  135. For now, however, he'd carry Biru back to the main event.
  136. (Kofe)
  137. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  138.
  139. [18:46] She was torn.
  140.
  141. Rinn literally, Esther metaphorically. Averted, dejected eyes glared downward as the emalgam tore the valiant drakanite in two. The troubled lass that she'd befriended had to witness the loss of another friend, another corpse to the towering mound. The Meddling in Therian's politics wasn't something she could do.
  142.
  143. Esther was far from prepared for the ensuing aftermath. She had difficulty comforting those who grieved, let alone a person she'd met only hours ago. Biru was belligerent, the break in her mental state clear for all to see. The massive crowd that had formed to observe the duels, the one she was apart of. They were meant to be honourable, to remain undisturbed. It was Therian law, laws she didn't dare meddle with.
  144.
  145. All she could muster was a weak grip atop Biru's shoulder, knowing that it was fruitful, knowing that there's nothing that could be said to change her mind, to rid the vengeance she desperately sought.
  146.
  147. Kofe's deterence was a blessing. Her involvement became unnecessary, the poor Teraphim promptly subdued and tended to. A HUGE sigh of relief released from Esther.
  148.
  149. "Thank ya'.. Please make sure she ain't get 'erself inta trouble."
  150. (Esther Aryn)
  151. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  152.
  153. [18:49] Kofe offered a small nod to Esther, and a smile. He still carried poor curled-up Biru in his arms. Less... unhinged than before. Far more crying than before, too. Vulnerable Teraphim; fragile like her crystal heart.
  154. (Kofe)
