Meghanada thought-Father's dead! He bound Indra in illusion, then invisibly he approached Ravana and shouted, "Are you alive? I have Indra captive!"

Those words ended Ravana's pain. Every might and power went out of the storms. Then followed by Ravana and all the demons still alive, Meghanada carried Indra still bound to Lanka, threw him prisoner into a dungeon, locked him in and kept the key.
