- Description
- Site Services is a multi-disciplinary group at Genentech that focuses on making great work possible. Departments include Security, Facilities, Environment, Health & Safety, Work Environments, as well as Design & Construction.
- Neighborhood Work Environments (NWE) is a relatively new group with the Site Service’s Workplace Effectiveness Department that is responsible for helping to evolve the way we work at Genentech. We’re designing a new way to approach the work environment that inspires breakthroughs, nurtures collaboration, and supports choice by leveraging technology, supporting team interactions, and providing greater variety of places to work.
- The Workplace Effectiveness Measurement and Analytics Group seeks to deliver metrics and analysis that guides business decision-making. The scope of data begins with measuring new programs, such as the Neighborhood Work Environments (NWE) program, and can expand into other areas that will help leaders in Workplace Effectiveness make decisions aided by data. - Responsibilities:
- Analysis of space utilization metrics to develop deep understanding of the data, evolve understanding of what a “full” Neighborhood Work Environment is, and then be able to work backwards to determine remaining capacity of “not full”
- Data Management Architecture for Survey Data: develop a structure and database for internal and external management of survey data, including keys to assure fidelity of data despite multiple iterations of the survey in question, data privacy for individuals who took the survey, potential to conduct analyses through connections to other data sources
- Survey coordination and tracking: workplace survey and pre-project inception surveys need to be administered (through Qualtrics), managed and reported upon
- Target Start Date: May 2017
