  1. "OTP" stands for "One Talent Point" which is a general playstyle encouraging the basics of a class.
  2.
  3. It is an off-shoot of the "no-spec leveling challenge" which was at its height during Shadowlands.
  4. "No-spec" is "dead" atm because you can not access any talents whatsoever without taking a spec now, so classes are incomplete.
  5.
  6. This challenge encourages creativity and accentuates the new talents, while creating difficult decisions with what is available.
  7. No strict rule is set on how many talent points you actually use, but its assumed that you stop using them very early.
  8. Ideally 1 talent point in each tree to give enough spells to make it fun, but not enough to be overpowered leveling.
  9.
  10. Standard nomad rules latch on well to this style to foster more authentic challenge:
  11.
  12. Nomad TLDR
  13. - No Hearthstone
  14. - No Flight Paths
  15. - Only Gear you "find" or often times "craft" when focused on a profession.
  16.
  17. General idea is to make the world feel important and focus on making gear and difficulty matter more and be within your control.
