  1. Set the stage. It's a closet in my parent's room with a tv and a sega genesis. I'm like 3 or 4 years old, so around '98. Couldn't even distinguish all the different lettered buttons (all boring grey and black you know) so my dad cut up some colored paper and taped them onto the buttons. We had sonic, contra, jungle book, a wide variety of entertainment.

  3. Flash forward, xbox days, my dad was a firefighter in a small town so I'd often spend some time with him and his pals up in the firestation just playing lan Halo, and whether I won because I was better or they let me, who knows. That was a pretty great memory.

  5. More on the negative side would be many years after this, made a lot of cool friends in cs go or on gaming forums/steam groups that eventually, whether due to bitter arguments over minor stuff or simply lack of keepup, all faded away and moved on. Always stings to think back on broken bridges, because you can't help losing a part of you that you invest in people when you lose those people.

  7. Favorite game is a real hard hitter but sonic 06 hands down. It's just got everything, exciting gameplay, time travel, cute chicks, what more could you ask for?? But reeaaaaally though I'd have to say the game I always come back to and enjoy a playthrough of no matter how many times I have is Half-life. Started with the WON version of the original that I, of course, got from my dad and the number of hours I put into that world, not only in the base game but the hundreds of masterful mods the community created around the goldsource engine, is incredible. This persisted with the sequels and you'd be hard pressed to find a better community more dedicated to keeping the game alive than half-life's I think. Probably why it became such a meme, valve couldn't buck up to the pressure of ep 3.

  9. Finally after writing my whole book here, I've saved the clan entry part because most of you probably already know this one. I'd known Techno for quite a while before this, was just thinking on it with a friend the other day and think we met in the COD discord during the BO3 days. So I was in the same ps4 clan (some small one, don't recall the name) with him when D2 came out, and when that clan went sour we moved onto another one, Omnipotence Paradox. Played there, got bored with the game around CoO. Came back with warmind but on PC this time, so on his invite and the fact that we had mutual friends here, I came to Sera. The rest is history.
