  1. I have chosen law as my career sector as it is everywhere and affects us in every second of our lives from our first breaths to our last, something as simple as buying milk from the supermarket has hundreds of laws behind it and most notably law determines an individual's freedom. The diverse career options within law are enticing as there are numerous paths one could take, such as a barrister, company secretary, a judge and many more. This means depending on the path I choose i could be consulting a multi million pound company or could be prosecuting a criminal, the wide range of choices means that I wouldn't be limited to one occupation and can find the most suitable one for myself. Furthermore the intellectual challenge that being a lawyer brings is itself a major factor, as it is not an easy job takes creativity, good communication and analytical skills. While my personal experience with law is limited it has had a significant impact on me, my sister had tried three times over a couple years to allow her husband to gain a visa and to enter the UK the legal journey of that itself was fascinating for me. Finally although it is cliche the infamous OJ Simpson case was another case that fascinated me as his team managed to acquit him of a murder that had all the evidence to convict him.
