Ragnorra Session 73

The Asura, Chaddhartha Devi spoke with Ronja regarding her patron and possible alternatives. Ultimately, if Ronja destroyed Rhyxali, she would in fact attune to her source of power. Her source of power is the energy that suffuses the Abyss itself, a deep, overwhelming ocean of absolute corruption. The creature went on to explain there may be a way to change patrons, but the path would not be a simple one. Ronja queried on less evil options of patron, and the Asura mentioned the Archfey of the Seelie Court.

Chaddartha Devi will speak to Mystra about the plight of the party, their deeds, and Ragnorra. She warned Ronja against the powers she taps into. She stressed she need not do it, and slaying Rhyxali would expose her directly to the font she draws from, directly connecting her to the tainted energies of the abyss. She urged her to seek a new patron, perhaps Titania, or a suitable courtier or noble of her court.

Ceri Lourdes expressed a desire to Ivy to head to the demiplane as hastily as possible.

Vayaxex and Veldotta expressed a desire to be left in Waterdeep, and seemed very shifty about their reasons why. The party was able to discern Vayaxex had signs she was trained as a mortal hunter.

Surprisingly, Ivy assented and took them all to the demiplane.

At the demiplane, Ivy mind controlled and banished all but Ceri to random hostile outer planes.

Ceri seemed disquieted by this but played ball, thanking Ivy for the rescue and safety. She immediately began to attempt to 'fit in with the locals'. Within a few days, she managed to set Zira and Ui against each other, and to incessantly annoy Sorrow. She also managed to start a small fire in the woods. Ivy mind controlled her as well and sent her to a random hostile plane.

Vix asked Ronja and Cassius with help. She planned to resurrect Leiv, her closest companion in the cult. Decamping to the mine entrance, they both assented.

The scroll was cast, and Leiv was returned. He seemed to be missing several memories. Cassius was able to impart a portion of his power to temporarily return his memories until they found a more permanent solution. Their reunion was emotional. Leiv spoke of how he was shocked Vix escaped and was able to prosper as she did. He barely recognized her. He described how he and the others were 'recycled' into the program in gruesome detail. Vix filled him in on all he has missed, and he seemed mystified.

Ivy was able to restore Leiv's memories more permanently.

Cassius spoke with Ashar-ka. He had Aymeric fabricate 20 masterwork steel longswords with the blood groove, razor sharp, folded metal to be sold along his trading route. Additionally, he had an exquisite starmetal dagger to be sold as a special centerpiece item. Additionally, he was given 15,000 gp and a bag of holding IV. Other than the Rhyxali information, he was instructed to return with exotic metals, gold, and a 'slab of onyx'. Cassius put on a show of intimidation, sparring with the undead dragons. Accepting the opportunity, and appropriate cowed, Ashar-ka left through the city of Brass.

Ivy purchased two genesis scrolls to expand the demiplane, which were used by Aymeric.

Ronja scryed on and collected Tonks. Bringing him to the demiplane, she inquired about the Seelie court. He was briefed on the plan, and seemed intrigued. He said it was tradition to bring an offering to an Archfey such as Titania. The offering should be of great sentimental value and irreplaceable. He was told Cassius would dance for the Archfey, and to produce music sounding like a great battle. He was sent off, directed to arrange an audience and to wear a red bandanna on his arm if he had news.
