+mistermaximal __ Okay, I have had a squiz at the video and I am already familiar with that video (I've examined it before). It categorically does not qualify as proof of anything.

Since you have offered it as proof you may be wondering why it doesn't qualify.

First of all - there are numerous cuts and edits to the footage. Secondly, the camera operator continually moves and adjusts the camera.

Just those two aspects alone disqualify the footage.

But - even if those things weren't the case. If the camera had been fixed and there were no cuts and edits - it still wouldn't count because we do not see a person or an object in undeniable zero gravity for a sustained period of time.

I understand that you may think I'm being too "strict". But really - what is being asked for is remarkably simple and should already exist in abundance.

Another way to understand why the footage doesn't count. Suppose someone like "Derren Brown" or "David Copperfield" (both so-called "magicians") were to do a "zero gravity magic trick" and "simulate an EVA".

If that footage you showed me was instead of "Derren Brown" or "David Copperfield" you would still find the footage "impressive" - and be in awe of the trick - but you would never believe it was real.

(The point I'm making is: if you go into it knowing it isn't real then all of the "editing moments" and "trick moments" would be more obvious to you - and you would not shut them out of your mind.)

(Briefly: I don't claim these videos are CGI. My approach is that if something can be done without CGI then it will be done without CGI. It is my assumption that all zero gravity that we do get to see is of real zero gravity. It is just that it *can be* cleverly stitched together. I do not believe there are "harnesses" or things like that being used. I also do not believe it is "green screen".)

The reason the footage appears real to you is because you are going into this with the assumption that it is indeed real. And yes - it does look real. We wouldn't get to see it if it didn't! It does look amazing but that doesn't mean it is real.

We simply do not see sustained duration zero gravity that upon scrutiny remains free from glaring glitches, clever cuts, sneaky edits and misdirecting pans.

If this topic is of interest to you then by all means find some more footage and let me take a look. I've seen probably everything that "NASA" has to offer though.

NOTE: I have been examining this issue for over a year. Only a handful of people are examining the footage in the right way. I cannot vouch for what other people say. I disagree with most other people. And I think that here there are a lot of people who are intentionally claiming it's "green screen" or that there's "harnesses" just to convince people like yourself that it's real (because the claims are absurd).

When I first heard about the "ISS" possibly being "fake" I was in disbelief. Bullsh!t - there is no way! The first thing I did was try to find the longest duration footage of the highest possible quality. That led me to look at the various "ISS tours" (since they go for 40+ minutes and are in HD) and thought "it has to be real".

But then I sat down and examined the "ISS tours" without the assumption it was real and instead with the assumption "this is being faked - but how?"

(I.e., as a thought experiment I flipped my starting assumption.)

And that's when I began to notice the huge number of cuts, edits and camera pans that occur throughout the "ISS" footage.

So the "ISS tours" were ruled out (they are full of cuts, edits and pans). So I began looking at the fixed camera interviews. Those tended to run from 10 minutes to 30 minutes. I thought that was going to be proof of it being real.

Thirty minutes from a fixed camera at a person who is in zero gravity - how can anyone reject that?!

And the first couple of interviews I looked at were very convincing to me. I thought surely it has to be real.

So once again I flipped my starting assumption that it was real and took on the assumption: "this is fake - but how?"

And that's when I began to notice all of the glitches and video footage defects.

If you look at the "EVA" footage - you don't see the glitches. But if you look at the "inside" interviews - there are regular glitches - at least every few minutes - that occur throughout all of the videos. Some of them are extremely subtle - but they are "potential editing points".

You may not even notice them unless you are specifically looking for them.

Anyway - I understand where you are coming from. I was once a firm believer in the alleged "ISS". I thought it was ridiculous to even question it.

When I first heard about people who did I didn't realise that many of them were dishonest. They were claiming it was all kinds of things that it's not. Back then I didn't realise that the so-called "truth community" is mostly comprised of dishonest people and "grassroots activists" who are here to give genuine "truthers" a bad name.

That is done by going to "NASA" videos and crying "fake!" and giving absurd reasons. The general public see those comments and the absurd claims and dismiss them. That's why those comments are made.

One more thing. I don't assert that the "ISS" IS NOT real and manned. Rather - I point out that what we need to see to justify a belief that it is real *and* manned REMAINS ABSENT. (And that's after 15+ years of "ISS" footage being made available to the public!)

And that's a serious thing! Because out of the hundreds (to thousands) of hours of alleged "ISS" footage - how can it be that there isn't even ten minutes that qualify?

It must be intentional. If the "ISS" is real and manned - then we are being prevented from seeing what we need to see to justify a belief. That forces us to trust who is telling us it's real. It means that those people could lie to us and we would never know.

So in the absence of sufficient proof (which I am proposing is just 10 minutes of genuine sustained duration zero gravity footage that upon scrutiny remains free from glaring glitches, clever cuts, sneaky edits and misdirecting pans) we are not justified in believing there is a real and manned "ISS".

What you wrote above used to resonate with me. I thought of the "ISS" as a place where countries could work together etc. Literally above all of the dramas on the ground.

But now I see that the "ISS" is more like a platform to impress beliefs upon children.

But as I say - there's more to it than that. This is a huge and important topic and I cannot express everything in a single message.

Besides - it is late where I am and I must sleep!

If you want to go ahead and make an effort to convince me that the "ISS" really is staffed by "astronauts" then go for it. Many before you have tried!

I genuinely want to find qualifying footage so that I can be satisfied we are not all being psychologically f_kced with on a relentless and massive scale.

But unfortunately it really does seem to be the case that we're all being f_kced with and the "space agencies" are at the centre of it. It's just that most people aren't aware of it - and (luckily for them) don't even know how to go about noticing/observing it.

If you are happy in life - I would stay well away from these topics. Because if you are an intelligent, rational and honest person - then a critical examination of the alleged "ISS" will send you into a depression for a long time before you can begin to recover from it. ))
