  1. Key: SSJMatt2
  2. Character: Okarin
  3. Skill(or transformation): Ansatsuken, Chikara Path, T7 Empty Body
  4. Reasoning: Following the advice I have been given and bouncing things off of a friend, I have been able to put into words the reasoning behind what my character does or rather, why he does things. I will put into sections as to why progressing further matters to him and how it matters to him.
  5.
  6. Most importantly are his clan, family, and their ideals and morals. Peace, life, and mercy are the core of these ideals and at first it seemed that those part of DHARMA shared these ideals. People worked together to take out potential threats to the mission such as the Golems. But, it seems that the longer he stays, the more people seem to only care about their own agendas and their own selfish gains. What this means from his point of view is that his art is needed to shut down people with such short sighted agendas, those who threaten the ideals of his clan, family, and DHARMA. The people he has noticed that are like this are as follows; Julian, Evenast, Lettuch, Radda, most Bandits he comes across, Isabelle and most people who follow her.
  7.
  8. He also wishes to get this power to protect the few that he does care about, those being Kature, Mira, Eboo, Sajire, Taro and a few others. While some he knows are more than powerful enough to look after themselves, he needs to make sure he was more than capable of helping them out in a tight spot, a short and simple tie there. He also needs to be able to protect the ones who are not powerful enough to protect themselves.
  9.
  10. Furthermore, witnessing the wonton murder of people who did not need to die has colored his views. He now wishes to preserve life, regardless of who it is or what they are, so long as they are not a dangerous threat to DHARMA or her employees. Those who are a threat to all do not get such mercy.
  11.
  12. Finally, after thinking long and hard over what his master told him, he realizes emotions are needed outside of battle. Ties and attachments ground yourself to who you really are. He does not need to be an emotionless being who just moves outside of combat at all. While the answer lies in the heart of combat, it can also lie outside of it as well.
