Intro: I am based out of Mysore studying in Bengaluru for last 2 yrs. Today evening I heard about one shocking & weird news in a student chat group.
Saw the photos and few videos as well on this incident. Cannot post them online due to safety reasons.

Just wondering these things i have seen in movies only.
In Bangalore, In modern india, In 2023, these things are encouraged and govt and police are supporting them in front of public?
How is india going to shine, when our govt is showcasing that powerful people with money and rowdies only can achieve anything in India easily.
Rest common people like us have to struggle and look for our safety ourselves? If we want safety and growth go out of india seeking safe countries?

This is happening in a famous Metro in India. Then consider what all kind of incidents, in how much scale others might be doing in inner India with police support.

In Kundalahalli, Brookefield, a location very near to one of the biggest IT park in Bangalore, inner roads near just beside main kundalahalli junction are shut down. Barricaded using big stones, bikes, cars, vans etc to ensure no vehicles pass in or out, many rowdies are also standing near them.

Background what i came to know:
Someone powerful had died today. From 2pm of 01-Feb-2023(today), roads got blocked, goons started forcibly closing shops in and near Kundalahalli Junction.
Far away shops got strict instructions from them to not put light on shop's board or in front after evening. They can only function the shop with one small light inside shop.
The whole area looks like a COVID lockdown time, nearly dark.
Many vehicles were diverted, asked to go back, many people coming from outside office back to their homes were asked to put their vehicle somewhere in mainroad and can go to their homes etc, else after threatening some vehicles got entry for a limited time in evening.

Also came to know that this road is named after the person who died, and his family is very powerful. Not sure about this.
But this is sure that many(really lots) buildings in this road are owned by them or probably their binami. Really rich and powerful family.

By evening, could see the deceased person's family members(both gents and ladies) coming in big cars just to see that the blockage is done properly.
Not sure what they wanted to prove to public like us?
They were in white dress and also standing by side of some shops, watching their goons standing near barricade showing 'throwing stone' kind of actions to food delivery persons, taxis etc. If someone asks why the road is blocked, they get verbal abuses first and threatening next.
One person in fully blue shirt and pants where threatening some vehicle goers also.

Question is to Myself, My People, Our Media and Our Govt:
Authorities:
With a Big Salute and Thanks to all bangalore police men & police women who are honest, dedicated, loyal to public and doing their duty, I am starting below note for all others including chiefs who are either in this bad game or closing eyes for the powerful people only on everyday basis:
Though you are showing thankfulness to the people who is showering with money/gifts to you, please try to remember that your salary is given by normal people's taxes.
Hundreds of vehicles were impacted due to this, many business suffered losses... think from 2pm today till midnight as of now.
Heard that it will continue for tomorrow for a funeral function as well.
So for one family's arrogance and power display, rest common public of #India has to suffer?

1. If any emergency comes, will the goons be there 24/7 to help remove the big stones, bikes and cars blocking the inner roads for paving way for ambulance?
2. If these goons after drinking create issues to ladies at night while they come back from office (office vehicles will not be allowed inside the very big area). Who will guarantee their safety?
3. If anyone  is forced to keep their vehicle outside main road, who will guarantee it's safety?
3. Will anyone be able to go to school in school bus or office using their vehicles tomorrow?
4. Will school bus wait in main road, and small kids have to walk all the way to main road from inside residential areas to get picked up?
5. In google maps, saw that some schools are in this (now closed) large area. Will the schools be forced to shut down tomorrow?
6. Police Patrol vehicles also passed this area ensuring its safe for goons.. Pathetic. Is it why salary is given?
7. This is not the only instance where police is not useful. There were lots of small and big incidents across bangalore over past years.
But all afraid to speak up. including myself

Have some shame. Hundreds of policemen are busy going to all roads everyday visiting shops using govt vehicle and petrol to take hafta/bribe.
Many busy area shops street vendors as well as licensed shops get 2 or 3 visits from police daily.
Atleast once in a year, cant try to take steps where public is not affected?

Media:
1. Why are such incidents across india not showing up in mainstream news?
2. Is it that powerful people can do anything in India, and our news stations do not have backbone to show this publicly?
3. China, Russia and all other outside topics cant be sidelined and topics happening inside india where public safety is threatened and anti-national's existence in our common residential areas, politics and rowdies and within country cant be discussed?


Common public, including Me:
1. I was seeing Karnataka flag being used at these barricades by these goons to show their power. They are insulting our people, our culture, our flag also.
2. Why no party/groups are even posting this in twitter, facebook etc?
I know there is safety issue. Hence I am also posting this in newly created account since i do not have trust in police .
3. We keep on posting and sharing funny videos thinking everything is heavenly around us, But please lets try to come to reality that there are powerful anti-national people with manpower and police in hand, making our state and India look bad.
4. I had to tag actors and other popular handles in this post, so that more people see this reality. Our film heroes have shown that rowdies and anti-national elements are bad for us. Then why are we voting them in elections and be silent and suffering for them again and again?

To Govt:
1. Arent these anti social elements to be captured. arent they threat to public safety who voted for you.
2. Arent these vehicles blocking this big area at multiple entry points bikes/cars/vans etc seized and ownership revoked. Their driving licenses permanently banned?
3. Shouldnt the rich family members including ladies who came to ensure their people have barricaded the entire area and feeling proud that thousands of people got affected due to their power display. "Bad cannot be connected to always men", nearby CCTV cameras are there to track them.
4. Shouldnt anti india elements such as them, rich people be taught a lesson and made an example for complete India wherever such things happen everyday?
5. Shouldnt their passports be cancelled for 20yrs ensuring they do not go enjoy outside india in luxury places, after making common people suffer whole day?
6. Heard that tomorrow very powerful people MPs, MLAs etc are coming to visit this blocked area for funeral/procession. Shouldn't any such political person be banned from contesting elections in future? So that politicians stay away from keeping ties and business profits from such anti-national elements?

I want to stay in India, while all my friends were talking all good things in USA, UK etc. Some have even became permanent residents in outside countries.
They all tell the same, In india law is only for powerful people. If normal people ask/talk about some events, their life and safety is a question mark.

If we approach police, police may or may not take the case unless media involves. Else if they take case also do some arrest etc. but the group who got affected by this case, within one year, will ensure to the make some disposable rowdy / party worker do the 'good' deed to the person who complained or his/her family.
lots of such incidents, just check RTI related incidents in past years for example.

Now I am understanding, why people who come from outside india after long years say they have better safety and lifestyle there, but difficult to see the same in india.
Shouldt we all try to change this perspective?
Shoudnt common people like us also stay safe in India?
Shouldnt India shine again?
