The UEG tightened her grip. With a dull sound, the man’s neck snapped. She let him go, and his body fell motionless to the ground.

“What limit is that? Did you think killing me would be enough to get rid of me?”

Turning around, the UEG saw the man she had just killed standing behind her. He seemed pretty proud of himself, which bothered her a little.

“I intentionally left room for you to revive yourself.”

“Now you just sound like a sore loser.”

“Can you say that when that is all you have remaining?”

Not realizing what she meant, the man sneered at her. “What are you talking...about...” As he spoke, he realized something was wrong.

“Your strong point​ seems to be that you are linked to yourself in parallel worlds. Because of that circumstance, you are able to lend yourself power that's similar to infinity. For example, even if you died, that would only be on the level of a single hair falling from your head. I was able to understand that much, so I killed you in all of those parallel worlds as well.”

“No way. How is that even possible?”

ＵＥＧ は 摑 ん だ 手 に 力 を 入れ た。 鈍い 音 が し て、 男 の 首 が 折れ た。 ＵＥＧ が 手 を 放す と、 男 は その 場 に くずれ 落ち、 そして 動か なく なっ た。 「どこ が 底 だ と 思っ て ん だ よ。 殺さ れ た ぐらい で 死ぬ とでも？」 ＵＥＧ が 振り向く と、 死ん だ はず の 男 が 立っ て い た。 どことなく 自慢 げ な 顔 を し て い て、 ＵＥＧ は 少し ばかり 癪 に 障っ た。 「いや、 わざと 生き返れる 余地 を 与え て やっ た わけ だ が」 「だっせ ぇ。 負け惜しみ かよ」 「しかし、 お 主 に 残っ て おる のは もう それ だけで あろ う が？」 　 何 を 言わ れ た のか わから なかっ た よう で、 男 は 馬鹿 に し た よう な 笑み とともに ＵＥＧ を 見つめ た。 「何 を わけ の わから ない…… こと を……」 　 男 は せせら笑お う と し た よう だ が、 途中 で 何 かに 気付い た のか 怪訝 な 顔 に なっ た。 「お 主 の 強み は 並行 世界 の 自分 と リンク し て いる こと の よう だ な。 それ により 無限 に 等しい 力 を 融通 する こと が できる わけ だ。 たとえ 死ん だ として も、 それ は 髪の毛 の 一本 が 抜け た 程度 の こと でしか ない。 と まあ その あたり を 看破 し た ので、 ありとあらゆる 並行 世界 の お 主 を 今 殺し て 回っ た わけ だ」 「馬鹿 な…… そんな こと を できる わけ が……」
