  1. <Darkling> A lovely day to be out of school. The time seems to fly by, and it's been two weeks since the Troll incident at the wall. The snow is falling through the partially repaired dome, and people are getting used to the change in the weather.
  2. <Darkling> Lit's taken the kids to the shopping district, intent on getting them some more weather appropriate clothing, and possibly something for their upcoming school dance.
  3. Rasia follows, though she feels extraneous since she wears winter clothes to begin with.
  4. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja seems fairly upbeat about the prospect and skips along. Not quite at the point of seeming medicated, though.
  5. <Darkling> He leads the trio into a clothing store. "I'll let you guys pick out what you need."
  6. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja waves with a smile and goes off to look over what's there. She randomly feels assorted articles of clothing.
  7. <Wilhelm_Faustus> Considering his comfort level with cold climates and his assortment of clothing yet to be customized back in his room, he felt sure there was no need for him to come along.
  8. <Rasia> After a moment of thought...oh! Rasia slinks off after Lahja.
  9. <Darkling> Lit wanders over to Wilhelm. "If there is something else you want, we can pick it up."
  10. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "I have everything I need."
  11. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja is holding a coat up to herself when Rasia shows up. She puts it back on the rack. "Need any help deciding on what to get?"
  12. <Darkling> "If you are sure." He heads away, perusing uninterestedly.
  13. Rasia fidgets a bit, mumbling under her breath. "Dance." She'd planned to simply ignore it, but maybe...
  14. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Oh, the dance." Lahja sounds slightly disinterested, but perks up after a moment. "Is there a particular image you'd like to give?"
  15. <Darkling> Ivy heads over to follow behind Lit, and the two begin chatting.
  16. <Rasia> "Image...?" Her head cocks. "Person." She answers, the best she had.
  17. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja taps her chin as she looks over Rasia. "Well, the way a person dresses can say a lot about them, and it isn't necessarily always true. You'll probably want to wear a dress..."
  18. <Rasia> It's true. Dresses are way harder to take off than suits.
  19. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Do you want to be a scary person? A pretty person?"
  20. <Rasia> I'm already scary, so... "Pretty."
  21. <Darkling> Ivy stomps, looking slightly upset as Lit tries to calm her.
  22. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "That's a good start." Lahja begins wandering about, looking over some various outfits. "How about color? Pretty comes in lots of different flavors, and color can help us decide on which flavor."
  23. <Rasia> Flavor...? But I thought we were talking about dresses. Rasia rubs at her stomach, considering the palette that goes by as she walks. Eventually she stops at a shade of blue found in the depths of the ocean, entranced.
  24. Corrin is looking through the winter clothing, brow furrowed. The bit about the dance went over his head, though if there were any giant hats in sight...
  25. <Darkling> Ivy stomps off out of the store and sits down.
  26. <Darkling> A familiar red headed twin walks up to you Wilhelm. "And how are you enjoying your shopping trip?"
  27. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "...it's fantastic, Freyr." The flat tone should be a clear indication of the opposite.
  28. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Hmm... blue. I guess that color could be kind of mysterious and regal." Lahja says thoughtfully. "You could be a princess."
  29. <Darkling> "You won't be too disappointed to leave then?"
  30. <Rasia> "Princess..." She touches her lip. "Others?"
  31. <Wilhelm_Faustus> A glance, a moment's look of confusion. "Do I have a choice?"
  32. <Darkling> "Not really. Your Operations Director has already been informed."
  33. <Wilhelm_Faustus> There never really was a choice in these matters, just a poorly maintained illusion. "As expected, I guess. Very well."
  34. <Darkling> "Come along then." She leads you away.
  35. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He follows.
  36. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "We could get you a crown, a little makeup, and maybe a stick. And..." Lahja trails off as she looks around the store, taking a pair of undersized feathery wings. "We could make you sparkle, too."
  37. Corrin pulls the coat off the shelf, reaching inside the sleeve. Too thin. No real insulation. Wouldn't last a week. Frowning, he drapes it back on the shelf a moment later, moving to the next rack. Maybe there'll be a giant hat in here somewhere.
  38. Rasia stares helplessly as the monster she has set into motion matures and grows out of her control.
  39. <Darkling> Ivy watches Wilhelm and Freyr leave the store from the bench outside, swinging her feet.
  40. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "I'll be happy to help you put on your makeup!" Lahja puts on a rather large smile. It stays plastered to her face for an abnormal length of time.
  41. <Rasia> "Um...okay."
  42. Corrin finally gives up on the quest for hats, several pieces of the least-useless cold-weather clothing in hand. Looking around for the other pilots, he heads for Lit.
  43. <Darkling> Lit's looking rather bored, leaning against a wall with a good vantage point on the others.
  44. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Great! Now I'll just need to pick out my stuff. Do you think I'd look good in anything in particular?" Lahja looks about quickly. She catches sight of something and her eyes widen. "Is that for kids?"
  45. Rasia looks down at the thing, not completely sure why.
  46. <Corrin> "Hey, Lahja!"
  47. <Lahja_Ilvainen> She tears her gaze away from the outfit, then shrugs. She goes about picking out some winter wear, making a relatively quick affair of it. "Corrin?"
  48. <Corrin> "Did you see any hats?" Corrin asks, arms full.
  49. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja looks at the approaching mass of clothing that is Corrin. "I did, Corrin... but are you sure you're not a woman?"
  50. Corrin looks baffled for a moment, then shrugs off the joke. Along with a coat. "Pretty sure, yeah."
  51. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Right over there. I saw some themed outfits that had hats back there."
  52. <Corrin> "Thanks, Lahja!" Corrin wanders in the direction indicated, leaving a trail of gloves in his wake.
  53. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja stares at the trail of gloves, suddenly believing her sarcastic remark may have been on target. Either way she snags one final outfit and goes to check out.
  54. <Darkling> Lit is waiting for them to arrive. "Got what you need?"
  55. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "A little something for me and a little something for Rasia. I think Corrin is almost done, too."
  56. <Rasia> Rasia's face colors.
  57. <Darkling> He gives his card to the cashier to ring them through. "I bet you'll both look fantastic."
  58. <Darkling> The cashier bags up their purchases, handing them bags and the card back to Lit. "Now to wait for Corrin. You girls can wait with Ivy if you want."
  59. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "See, Rasia? Fantastic. You'll sparkle like the stars." Lahja says cheerfully. Then she imagines both Wilhelm and Ivy staring at her.
  60. <Rasia> She is, too. At least the first half. Ivy gets her usual 'I'm in charge' look from Rasia.
  61. Corrin heads back towards Lit, arms somewhat less full with the trail he left, and with a single hat in his grip. Not quite giant, though.
  62. <Darkling> "Is that all you're getting?" Lit asks.
  63. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja wanders outdoors, waving to Ivy. "No shopping?"
  64. <Corrin> "Yes, sir." Corrin replies seriously.
  65. <Darkling> "No." She looks a bit sad. "I'm not allowed to go to the dance, so there is no point."
  66. <Rasia> "No dance?"
  67. <Darkling> Lit hands over his card again, the cashier ringing it through and handing Corrin a bag.
  68. <Darkling> Ivy shakes her head slowly.
  69. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Not allowed?" Lahja mutters something in her native tongue. It doesn't sound very nice. "How do they expect us to have a proper dance anyway with so few students?"
  70. <Darkling> "I'm not a student, that's the problem. NERV won't allow me to go."
  71. <Rasia> "...guest?"
  72. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Silly. If there are any problems then it's probably best that we're all in the same area."
  73. Corrin heads out too, sees the others standing around the seat, and jogs over. "Hey, Ivy."
  74. <Darkling> "Lit said the order was official, and I might even be one back to the UN Dome by then anyway." She sighs.
  75. Rasia clicks her teeth, not shedding any tears.
  76. <Corrin> "What order?" Corrin asks, starting to realize something's wrong.
  77. <Darkling> Ivy looks up, then tilts her head to look past Corrin. "What's that?" She points at a group of people.
  78. Rasia swivels her head.
  79. Corrin turns to look.
  80. <Darkling> "These things are a lie and you know it! They are weapons of mass destruction, not instruments of our salvation!" A man is on a makeshift stage talking through a megaphone.
  81. <Corrin> "What's he on about?" Corrin frowns, squinting at the speaker.
  82. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Where's a spud gun when you need it?" Lahja says with disgust.
  83. <Darkling> "Where exactly did these come from? How long have they hid them from us? What else do they plan to use them for?!"
  84. <Darkling> The crowd cheers with him in support.
  85. <Corrin> "Come on!" Corrin calls, already moving. "Let's see what they're talking about!"
  86. <Darkling> "That's not a good idea Corrin." Lit says, stopping him.
  87. Rasia clicks her teeth.
  88. <Darkling> "NERV is a corrupt organization! The work they are doing will bring an end to the world as we know it!"
  89. Corrin stops abruptly. "Yes, sir." He doesn't sound too happy about it.
  90. Corrin drops the bag at the speaker's latest words, fists clenching.
  91. <Darkling> There's a big poster being put up behind him, you might recognize it from your photo shoot. "These are our enemies! Our heralds of doom!"
  92. Rasia cocks her head, scowling.
  93. Corrin is staring past Lit at the speaker, jaw clenched shut.
  94. <Darkling> "It's just filth propaganda. Come on kids, let's go get some lunch."
  95. <Rasia> Food!
  96. Corrin moves as ordered, with one last murderous glare at the crowd. He's scowling as he scoops up the bag, then moves back to the others.
  97. <Darkling> The crowd begins throwing objects at the poster.
  98. <Darkling> Fruit and other objects squish and stain it.
  99. <Rasia> Rasia pauses to look at her side, but otherwise moves on. Gonna find Wilhelm later.
  100. <Darkling> "Down with these traitors!" The speakers yells. "Down with NERV!"
  101. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja looks over at the crowd and the poster throwing, somewhat amused. She follows along with Lit and the others. "They don't have as much practice at propaganda."
  102. Corrin is scowling deeply, looking straight ahead. "They should be shot."
  103. <Darkling> "That's enough Corrin." Lits turns them around a corner so they can no longer see the protest as the poster goes up in flames.
  104. Corrin shuts up. He looks to the others as he follows.
  105. <Darkling> Lit takes them into a Mexican themed restaurant. "I hope you guys don't mind, but I figured we'd have something different for a change."
  106. Rasia licks her lips, staring at the greasy meats.
  107. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "What is this place?" Lahja asks, half curious and half wary.
  108. <Darkling> "Well.. It's Mexican themed." He finds them a booth and sits down. "I've only been here a few times, and it's rather good."
  109. <Darkling> "Something I can't bring myself to cook though."
  110. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "You can't bring yourself to cook it? Why?" She asks as she sits down.
  111. <Darkling> "Not my standard of healthy, even if it is delicious."
  112. <Darkling> A waiter stops by, dropping off menus. "Can I get you any drinks?" She looks to Rasia first.
  113. <Rasia> "Water." She responds, almost automatically.
  114. <Darkling> The waiter looks to Corrin.
  115. <Corrin> "Water." Corrin parrots, mind still elsewhere.
  116. <Darkling> And to Lahja.
  117. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Lemonade." Lahja says absently as she looks over the menu, apparently in deep thought mode now.
  118. <Darkling> She looks to Lit. "Coffee please." The waiter rushes off.
  119. <Corrin> "Ivy?"
  120. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "What's a quesadilla?" Lahja asks, saying it exactly how it looks like it would be pronounced.
  121. <Darkling> Ivy is sitting int he corner. "I'm not hungry."
  122. <Darkling> "I don't think the waitress saw you there." Lit looks down, his bulky frame easily blocking her from sight.
  123. <Darkling> The waitress comes back with drinks. "Do you know what you want yet?" She asks in a perky 'I hate my job' voice.
  124. Rasia holds up the menu, enthusiastically pointing to a mass of ground hamburger, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, and tortilla that mocked the human heart.
  125. Corrin is still looking at the other pilot.
  126. <Darkling> "Excellent choice dear!" She looks to Corrin. "And you?"
  127. Corrin points to the first thing on the menu, belatedly picking it up.
  128. <Darkling> "Alright. And you miss?" To Lahja.
  129. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Chips and salsa... and a quesadilla." She says uncertainly, once again mangling the pronunciation.
  130. <Darkling> "Very well. You sir?" She looks to Lit.
  131. <Darkling> "I'll have the El Toro Platter please." He hands her the menu. "Anything for you Ivy?"
  132. <Darkling> Ivy shakes her head. "Just some lemonade please."
  133. <Darkling> The waitress gathers the menus and heads off.
  134. Corrin sits, brow furrowed.
  135. <Darkling> "You alright Corrin?"
  136. <Darkling> Ivy leans across the table, knocking over a jar of crayons.
  137. <Darkling> You might notice now the table is covered in cheap brown paper, perfect for doodling on.
  138. <Corrin> "Yeah." Corrin replies, looking up. "Are you?"
  139. <Darkling> "Just not hungry." She picks up a crayon and starts drawing.
  140. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja looks over the aforementioned cheap brown paper, then at the crayons. She nabs a few and begins scribbling as well.
  141. Corrin nods, looking at the brown paper before following the lead of the others.
  142. <Rasia> Rasia...Rasia just watches them, before looking at Lit. "Wilhelm!"
  143. <Darkling> "He had an appointment with Freyja. He'll likely be home before us."
  144. <Rasia> Frowwwn.
  145. Corrin goes back to scrawling what looks like a line of human figures in brown crayon. It's not very good.
  146. <Darkling> "I'm sure he'll be happy to see you when we get back."
  147. <Rasia> A light smile.
  148. Corrin draws another, lone figure some distance away. The line seems to be holding rifles now, these somewhat better detailed..
  149. <Darkling> And the waitress arrives bringing platters of food that smell quite delectable and tingle your noses with spice.
  150. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Whatever Lahja is scribbling it's fairly abstract, probably somewhere between Dali and Chagall in spirit. But also not very good.
  151. Rasia salivates on herself, reaching for her monstrous plate.
  152. Corrin adds the finishing touch, a red dot near the figure's mouth. Is that a cigarette?
  153. <Darkling> "Enjoy amigos!" The waitress is off to help another table.
  154. <Darkling> Corrin, the mystery food you ordered appears to be a set of meaty looking burritos.
  155. Corrin pulls it in, and sniffs. Old habits are hard to break.
  156. <Darkling> It smells good enough.
  157. <Rasia> Om chom chom.
  158. <Darkling> Lit digs into his platter of food, with Ivy watching and sipping her lemonade.
  159. Corrin eats with his usual appetite.
  160. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja digs in, hesitantly at first, but she seems to develop a liking for the stuff in short order. "This is interesting."
  161. Corrin stops midway through his second burrito. "Yeah," he sprinkles through a mouthful. "It's pretty good. Sure you don't want some, Ivy?"
  162. <Darkling> "..." She looks a bit queasy at the offer.
  163. Rasia snaps her jaws, glancing over at Ivy.
  164. <Darkling> A plate crashes across the room, and you seen someone tumbling out of their seat, chunky liquids flying from their mouth all over a waiter.
  165. Corrin looks up.
  166. Rasia jerks her head, growling.
  167. <Darkling> A kid at the table starts laughing.
  168. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja looks in that direction, pausing for a moment. She calmly takes a sip from her glass.
  169. <Corrin> "What's funny about it?" Corrin mutters, after swallowing.
  170. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "It's kind of interesting how many different colors you can see in that, even if the source of them isn't so glamorous."
  171. <Darkling> The person vomits again, running in the direction of the bathroom sign.
  172. Rasia cocks her head, unperturbed by the scene, enough so to take a bite of food.
  173. <Darkling> Lit peels appart a taco, taking a look inside it suspiciously.
  174. <Darkling> He shrugs and goes back to eating. "Tastes fine to me.
  175. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja settles down on the eating a bit, looking over what can be seen of the table scribblings.
  176. Corrin sits back, the burritos gone.
  177. Rasia licks her plate clean, as she is so wont to do. There's quite a lot of grease.
  178. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Best not to test the lining of my stomach any further." She settles for finishing off her lemonade and making some more scribbles on the tablecloth.
  179. Corrin glances down and freezes. His adam's apple bobs as he stares, mouth closed tight.
  180. <Rasia> "Rr?"
  181. <Darkling> The sick patron comes back to his table as the staff is working to clean up the mess.
  182. Corrin is suddenly blindly scrambling to push his way out of the booth, mouth held closed.
  183. <Lahja_Ilvainen> She adds a peculiarly happy looking sun with a smiley face amidst a swirling mess of kidneys, livers, and dismembered body parts, a few of the organs spraying blood and/or sporting smiley faces. She looks up as Corrin runs off, then casts a suspicious look at her food.
  184. Corrin doesn't run off. He didn't make it more than two steps from the booth before it all comes up. Dropping to his knees, hands around his stomach, he vomits.
  185. Rasia blinks, leaning over to see.
  186. <Darkling> A waiter rushes over with a bucket. "This is not a good day.."
  187. <Rasia> "Disease?"
  188. Corrin finally stops coughing, looking up at Rasia. "Rats."
  189. <Darkling> The waiter sighs. "Not rats again... damn things get in all the time."
  190. Rasia nods, and sits back down. Huh.
  191. Corrin jerks his head around, a decidedly murderous look on his face.
  192. <Darkling> She calls over another member of the staff and starts srubbing at the mess. "I'm sorry for this. I'll have the manager take care of it."
  193. <Darkling> ---------------------
  194. <Darkling> The pilots are just returning home from their free meal, the apartment seems rather quiet.
  195. Rasia pokes her head in, doing an immediate check of Wilhelm's room, and then hers.
  196. Corrin heads inside, still a bit pale.
  197. <Darkling> Ivy heads straight for Lahja's room, closing the door behind her.
  198. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He's sitting in your room Rasia, staring at the wall across from him as he leans back against your bed. His shirt is torn open and he reeks of a certain Valkyrie.
  199. <Rasia> Anger. Rasia crosses the room in a single stride, dropping down onto all fours to stare at him. Her gaze is curious, but upset.
  200. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja watches Ivy go off. Then she begins stretching and pacing. But doesn't seem all that into it. Definitely not exercise food.
  201. <Darkling> Lit pours himself a glass of water. "You kids need anything?"
  202. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He turns his head to look at her, but he doesn't say anything. He reaches out, putting his hand over one of hers before looking back to the wall. Thinking...
  203. <Rasia> "She hurt?" Affection warms Wilhelm's cheek and side.
  204. <Corrin> "Sir." Corrin looks around almost at once. "Requesting permission to use the range."
  205. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He tightens his grip on her hand. "...no..."
  206. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "I'm fine, Lit. I think I'll get some rest soon."
  207. <Darkling> "Alright." He takes you to the range Corrin. "What would you like to use?"
  208. <Rasia> A nip to his cheek. Without an obvious wound to nurse, she looks lost, providing her presence and a tight embrace. "Mine." As if that simple fact were comforting.
  209. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He hasn't let go of your hand, so it must be to some degree. "What am I, Rasia?" Odd question, no?
  210. <Rasia> ...very odd. Also a difficult one. Let's see... "Mine." She reiterates. "My Wilhelm." All the other answers like 'cold', 'pale', 'person' didn't seem appropriate.
  211. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja wanders over to her room. She knocks on the door, despite thinking it's a little absurd to do so.
  212. Corrin indicates a carbine. "That one, sir."
  213. <Darkling> A muffled reply comes to you.
  214. <Darkling> Lit unlocks the cabinet and pulls it out, flicking a switch for a new target. He hands it to you. "Here you are."
  215. <Lahja_Ilvainen> She opens the door and slips inside, closing it behind her.
  216. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He relaxes again you, gaze finally dropping to the floor. He looks confused more than anything, maybe angry and horrified as well. Its a strange mix of emotions fighting for room on the usually stoic boy's face.
  217. <Darkling> Ivy is buried in her blankets. "Hi." She offers weakly.
  218. Corrin takes the weapon, showing more care than usual. He seems more focused than usual as he moves through the familiar procedure, yet strangely calm. A quick check of the weapon, then he's looking down the range, breathing slowly.
  219. <Rasia> Disconcerting. A mother would lick his cheek until he felt better, but... She leans up, pressing her lips to his cheek, and rocks him back and forth. "Not hers."
  220. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja moves on over to her bed, sitting down with a sigh. And then an awkward pause. "Hi. What's bugging you?"
  221. <Darkling> The words rush out of her mouth in a jumble. "I'm just a bit sad. I really wanted to go to this dance thing. I've never been to one before and it sounds fun."
  222. Corrin squeezes the trigger once he's done, earplugs muffling the noise. He's staring intently at the target, seeing something else.
  223. <Darkling> Lit watches, keeping quiet and just making sure he doesn't shoot himself.
  224. <Wilhelm_Faustus> Now you've got him Rasia. He feels secure, even closing his eyes.
  225. <Rasia> Theeere we go. She murmurs other comforting lines as they come to her, most of them sounding vaguely possessive. To hear her talk, there's nothing in the world but him, her, and snow.
  226. Corrin is vaguely thinking about shooting someone, but it isn't himself. Oddly, it's not Wilhelm either. More shots. A bit too close together.
  227. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Neither have I. I'm not sure what the point of it is anymore now that most of the class is worm food." Lahja tries to make that sound comforting. It probably isn't.
  228. <Darkling> She covers her face with her pillow.
  229. <Wilhelm_Faustus> His eyes snap open, then narrow to slits.
  230. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "Maybe we could have our own here? This is where all the people I'd want to be around are." She says a bit offhandedly. Being reassuring doesn't seem to be her thing.
  231. <Rasia> "Rr?" She lifts her head to look at him.
  232. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "Why do I need three sets of DNA?" He whispers harshly.
  233. <Darkling> She just sniffles into her pillow, her reply a bit muffle but sounding like "It's okay."
  234. <Rasia> ...what. Rasia cocks her head.
  235. Corrin fires the last shot of the clip into the target. He seems almost relaxed as he flips the safety on. This is familiar.
  236. <Darkling> Lit clasps a hand on his shoulder.
  237. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "Grendel. He isn't a copy." He whispers, relaxing again.
  238. <Rasia> Still bewildered, Rasia simply settles back in, touseling his hair.
  239. Corrin freezes, but doesn't move from where he's standing. "Sir?"
  240. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "Nnh...no wonder you enjoy that."
  241. <Darkling> "What's bugging you Corrin?"
  242. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "It's not okay. We'll figure out something. You should be able to enjoy something normal before they ship you off." Lahja says, managing to sound sincere. And maybe a tad irate, especially with that last sentence.
  243. <Rasia> "Wilhelm brain knotted."
  244. <Darkling> Ivy removes the pillow, eyes wet. "You think I'm pretty right?"
  245. <Wilhelm_Faustus> "...it really is." He sighs.
  246. <Rasia> "Untying." She giggles, massaging his scalp as though she were teasing a complex knot apart.
  247. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja stares, the question catching her off guard and reminding her of her dreamy adventure in the closet with Ivy. "Yes. Why?"
  248. <Corrin> "Nothing, sir. I'm fine, sir." Corrin replies after a long moment. He almost sounds like he means it.
  249. <Darkling> "No one has ever told me I am. I want to be pretty at a ball and dance." She seems a bit less sad now.
  250. <Wilhelm_Faustus> He's happy to let her do what she's doing, staring off with a distant gaze again.
  251. <Rasia> Hmmmf. Working hard to not disturb his trance, she peels him out of his ruined shirt, handily tearing it into useless shreds and hiding it under her bed.
  252. <Darkling> "You sure? You can talk to me you know. I'm sure I'm friendlier to talk to than some shrink." He looks down at you Corrin.
  253. <Lahja_Ilvainen> "I guess most people just don't feel a need to state the obvious." Lahja says after a pause, reflecting on her own relatively little and largely superficial social contact with others prior to Berlin.
  254. <Darkling> Ivy props herself up, perking up a bit. "Thanks Lahja, I knew I could count on you." She leans over thrusting herself into a hug around you.
  255. <Corrin> "Yes, sir. Understood." Corrin replies. He's still clutching the carbine, a bit too tightly.
  256. <Darkling> "Come on. Let's go relax a bit." He takes the gun from you Corrin, locking it back up.
  257. Corrin follows, biting back the correction on the tip of his tongue.
  258. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja returns the hug a moment or two later. Her posture gets a bit sluggish, her own mood declining a little and showing. "You're welcome."
  259. <Darkling> The air suddenly fills with the wail of a siren, that noise you wish you wouldn't hear so soon again.
  260. <Corrin> "Sir!" Corrin calls at once.
  261. Rasia lifts her head, giving Wilhelm a bite on the ear.
  262. <Wilhelm_Faustus> Siiigh. He buries his face against her briefly, then reluctantly stands.
  263. <Darkling> "Right. Let's go." He jogs to the main room. "Come on Pilots!"
  264. Corrin follows on the Captain's heels, suddenly eager.
  265. <Lahja_Ilvainen> Lahja's gloom suddenly melts away, prompting an overly enthusiastic giggle and a wide smile. "Looks like I get to have some fun before bedtime."
  266. <Rasia> Rasia joins the others, still holding Wilhelm's hand. Her heart already pounding against her ribs, she gives a glinting grin. "Still hungry."
