- The Sharklord’s feet tore up the ground as he ran. The cobbles were replaced by wooden boards as he thundered along a short jetty between fishing boats and lobster pots. The approaching Bastians saw him now, as they began firing arrows that peppered the jetty and Vega’s body. He stumbled, struggling to the end of the jetty. Spears rained down as he staggered to the edge, falling with a great red splash into the cold, dark water.
