Buries her guilt better than Ian, in the business of lost media discovery hoarding and cut throat obsession we’re the only things that get you ahead of the others. So when Ian had presented them with the tape she’d been the loudest of the cheering members and had brushed off any concerns that the others might have about what had been done or the possible consequences. When recovering ancient history you could not be concerned with the idea of consequences. In her  mind she compared herself to the great excavators of Rome's empire. She had stood her ground and dug up the past which would surely give insight for how the future of art was to change forever. She was a archeologists and well…it wasn’t out of the question for the field to get violent, historically archeologists had to deal with a lot of annoying people trying to stop them from digging up the important history buried in the earth and when that happened to competent archeologists escaped, history held in one hand and a spent pistol grasped firmly in the other. The ones who didn’t ended up dead.

She was a great archaeologist of art, that’s what she tells herself as she lies awake at night, memories of emails and pleas to be left alone haunting her every thought like drops of water eating away at great statues on the edge of history.

The music seems more lively at this party than those in the past, like some emotion unearthed from an ancient tomb and as Georgie thinks about perhaps going to see what Ian’s up to the music shifts again into the most heavenly thing she’s ever
