The green stones ahead seem to do little at the dark phage's approach, and the writing is semi-clear to them. Hundreds of thousands of lines of what seems to be repeated phrase and instruction, all in tiny font. The language itself is strange. Some expressions are similar to ancient Sumerian, others to modern Shivan, and other still a mixture of strange symbols and simple repeating patterns. What can be discerned is 'door....proceed... the green..... the dark.... balance.' in broken wording over multiple lines, repeating for the upper third of each pillar.

The 'fill' in the etchings alters the perception of them slightly, but not enough to make them unreadable. [21:02] Vixen looks up towards the central area, spotting the purple crystal with a hum, it came to her that there might be something worth investigating up there, as it seemed thats where the necklace had tried to point her before, removing her hand from the altar to try and work out a way up there, running a few ideas through her head before she turns back to the crystal, thinking that, well, they had attempted a bridge before, what about stairs now? She was unsure, instead she would start inspecting the altar and waiting to see if anything changes with the cleansing of the platforms. She would twitch her ears as shes spoken to, taking out her book to write, "It appears the way is blocked, perhaps we should wait on the platforms to see if that changes. Im not risking using a stone on that mess, we just saw what it did to a grappling hook." She stifles a chuckle, returning to the structure before her for the moment.

The bridge seems to straighten and grow, formin a twisted, woody connection, as green crystal begins to grow out of the center of the newly cleansed stone. All the same, the circle the others were near flashes, its crystal going blinding green, as did the crystal pillars Jackal stood near... and where one moment everyone was separated, the next they were together, standing in the midst of a patch of plantlife, soft and soothing, calming, almost, passive even, as if acquiescing to the new arrivals. ((and now we move.)) The crystal they'd come from, for the most, pulses bright in a steady rhythm, pulsing out waves of green energy that wrap aroudn the barrier covering the central island. From their new position, the group could see another circle... and a metal pod, looking oh so similar to a research station, coated in crystal and grown-over with plants, but still surprisingly unworn.

He covers his eyes and feels the sudden brush of plants across his thin fur, very slowly pulling himself up, the inherent warmth giving him a much-needed spark of comfort. "T-thank you..." He rumbles quietly to the plants, offering them a gentle pat before turning to inspect the research station. "H-hey, that looks like there could be something useful for us, right?" He'd ask, cautiously stepping forward to try and check if he can see through a window.

He checks over the pad and attempts to pick it up to inspect, if all seemed clear!

The third is unsure from this angle, all that can be seen is a half-rotted arm and some crystal.

Careful.", she turned towards the boxes, partially drawing her blade and unholstering her sidearm, holding it off tot he side some and about hip level as she approached, channeling her magikal aura in perpetration for something bad to happen, "Step. Back." She barely manages, the strain more apparent in her lack of voice.

"Help... me...." it murmurs, gurgling, choking on what appears to be its own tongue as its decayed body drips and dribbles, cracking and splintering with the sudden jerking motion as it starts to seize, the former human beginning, somehow, to scream out in pain, moving more as the crystals grow faster, spasming and writhing in agony, screaming out for help. And as Stripes plants those seeds, they bloom into vibrant, colorful flowers of myriad colors in an instant. The blockade seems to let you past, once more not noticing your passage.... A busy day indeed. The samples are easily retrieved, but... on landing back at Earth, the dark magika engine finally cuts out... it will need heavy repair if it is to be used again, as will the dropship.
