Installation:
Pixelmon needs at least 4gb ram allocated. This means you need to have a 64bit version of Java installed for it to work.

Technic - Easiest Option:
1. Download and install the Technic launcher from here: https://www.technicpack.net/download
Technic will allow us to update the modpack if necessary while allowing you all to have the latest update without having to download and install everything manually.
2. After you're done installing and connecting your Minecraft account to it, simply click on "MODPACKS" and then add the pack to the search bar on the left.

3. Install the mod pack and do not forget to add at least 4 to 6gb of memory before you start playing.
4. Click on "Launcher Options" on the top right and then go on Java Settings, there you'll see that you can allocate memory. Put at least 4gb or more.

5. Click on "Play" and launch the game

MultiMC:
1) Download MultiMC 64 bit at: https://multimc.org/#Download

3) Open Multi MC and click "Add Instance" on the top left, then select the Instance you downloaded from the step above
4) Right click and launch the Minecraft instance as all settings should be preset.
4.5) If having issues, check the following:
- Is 64 bit Java installed?
- Are 4 gigs of ram allocated?
- Ask in the thread for further questions.

1. Download the latest version of Forge Installer from here: https://files.minecraftforge.net/net/minecraftforge/forge/index_1.12.2.html
2. Install the Forge client, launch the game once and then close it.

To prevent potential filtering, after launching the game we recommend going to your Video Settings, Quality and turning off Connected Textures. If you did this while being online and you see a bunch of messed up textures, simply reload your game to fix it.
Also, when running the game right after installing the mods, you may experience an out of memory error, or other related memory issues such as the game maxing out the allotted ram.
Restarting your computer and client may resolve this problem.
