daiyu is very quiet and softspoken and much of the meeker girls. as the feeler of the group, she has every right to be sensitive and emotional. she tends to hide and stay in the corners when it comes to social situations, she’s really not great at communicating with others at all since she isn’t a conversation starter. she often keeps to herself due to having social anxiety, she would rather study and daydream than chatting off with others. due to how sensitive she is, she’s an easy target to others when it comes too toying with her emotions. this might be because of how naive she is and how she’s too kind making people to take advantage of her kindness.

believe it or not, but daiyu is literally the epitome of happiness. she’s always cheerful everyday even when she’s feeling down (since she always tends to bottle her feelings inside), she loves spreading positivity and happiness everywhere you go. she won’t hesitate or back down when it comes to listening too people’s rants, giving her the cue to make them feel better. because of this, her friends trust and rely on her when it comes to ranting about what they’re going through and telling secrets since she isn’t a big mouth. she really adores her friends and family and would kill those who would dare try to hurt them.

growing up dad and mom taught her the ethnics and responsibilities in the world. they taught her how to treat others, the ethnic reciprocity (which just means the golden rule “treat others how you want to be treated”) and taught her how to do chores. she never goes against rules, because she just can’t. it’s not the way how her parents brought her up as.

daiyu is definitely like roald dahl, but female. she loves to read books because it drags her into a completely different world and seperates her from the shit she’s been through or is going through. it calms her heart, and lets her brain relax from the overthinking of small issues. sure, she’s calm as fuck but that doesn’t mean she wouldn’t worry about something.

she would rather much sit back and observe than starting a conflict or getting involved. on strategy nights, she isn’t the most interactive but she gives the input of different events and responses that she collects as the natural observer she is. she helps determine the intensity of the situation. the more she observes, the more she remembers information whether it’s about people, numbers, etc. etc.


✧ BACKGROUND: she’s half korean and half chinese, she’s chinese from her father’s side while korean from her mother’s side. as a child she was really shy and quiet and also a bookworm, she was also known for her purity and kindness. growing up was tough for her due to how sensitive and emotional she was, as mentioned earlier people could easily toy with her emotions due to how naive she is and tend to take advantage of her kindness. that’s one of the many reasons why she hates being too kind to others. there are times where her mother even pressures her to study and too be “perfect”, she even compares her to others which she really hates. she’s the biggest cat lover around and becomes a new whole different person when seeing them, thus making her work at a cat shelter. she’s the chrysanthemum of the group, it really resembles her well since she’s full of optimism and joy. she also loves chrysanthemums due to how brightly colored they are. daiyu’s father works in a business meaning that they both barely spend time together. she used to get along with him really well when she was a child, but as time passed by they both drifted apart from each other. as a child, she really looked up to her dad and highly respected him since he was like a role-model to her. he’s really calm, patient, and soft-spoken meaning that he doesn’t like to yell very much.

daiyu’s mother is a really well-known florist, however, there are some times where the both of them don’t get along very well. as mentioned earlier, her mother often pressures her to study and too become “perfect” which makes daiyu stressed out and frustrated. she just wishes that her mother sees and loves her for who she is, she doesn’t want to turn into a mary sue (hA see what i did there?-). although, she still loves her mother no matter how much she stresses her out.
