  1. One day I was browsing the internet and I ran into this topic on net neutrality. I began to wonder what this can possibly be? Therefore, I went straight to Google search engine and I had started research on the topic. After reading multiple amounts of articles on the topic of net neutrality, I began to think this can lead to our new generation of dystopia. Net neutrality can bring so much negativity to our world just because internet service providers want to restrict access to what we pay for. If net neutrality makes it through office and jurisdiction this will actually be the new generation of Dystopia.

  4. Net neutrality, a new name for dystopia. The Federal Communications Commission are trying to get net neutrality removed from the internet for the internet service providers. This will deny anyone within the United States of America from accessing certain websites on the internet. In my opinion, this will only bring negativity towards our country which is why I think this will lead to dystopia. Why would anyone in the United States of America pay for something they won’t have full access to? Including me, I would have to stop doing one of my favorite hobbies that I do at home just because internet service providers are greedy people. How is the United States of America supposed to be a free country if we don’t even have full access to the power of the internet? People who disagree with this have been creating petitions all over the internet just to remove this topic from the internet forever.

  7. Most people in the United States of America really don’t even know what the definition of net neutrality is. People in my imagination would actually only care about the destruction after it has happened. That’s why I’m hoping that people actually are willing to inform themselves on this topic to help prevent it from happening. I’ve been informed of this topic through word of mouth but hopefully, people who are wealthy and care about net neutrality are willing to waste a small portion of their money to raise awareness through advertisement. Advertisement for this topic would be really important because it’s something that not much people care about, if you were to see it in the news you would actually be interested in it, but for the older generation they would actually be glad about this since their children would not want to be on the internet anymore with these restrictions. In children’s eyes this is the new meaning of dystopia but in elder’s eyes, this is the new meaning of utopia since they would like to see the new generation off of technology.

  10. In conclusion, millions of people have already signed petitions against the removal of net neutrality. The day that we’ll all be able to see if it is approved or not will be on December 14th of 2017. I have personally signed one of the petitions myself against the removal of it and I completely disagree and think this will lead to a huge amount of dystopia specifically riots, picketing, uproar, protesting. Net neutrality keeps internet service providers from restricting your limitations for no reason, if you're going to pay for an internet plan I believe you should get what you pay. I believe that if net neutrality is removed from our country, our country will only go downhill from now on and business will deflate.
