  1. Alright so I can't think of any way to do that "optimal" pairing one to my liking and I'll hold off on the kiss one for a while so I'll do the other one. Again, sorry that I’m late.

  3. >The PT meet Joker's dad, Reiji. Let's assume the girls have been romanced but separately, no harems.
  4.
  5. >Ann gets kicked into actress mode accidentally due in part to a combination of nervousness and a sense of danger she can’t place, which causes Reiji to misjudge her at first, thinking that she’s more of a Yuka than an Eriko. Reiji remains polite but keeps mostly to himself as he tries to figure Ann out, while she becomes less nervous and more downtrodden as she thinks she’s doing something wrong. It’s only when Ann speaks first when they’re both sick of misinterpreting each other that Reiji, in a moment of contemplation, decides that Joker made a good choice, which everyone is happy to hear. Ann does threaten the mood somewhat though when she apologises and mentions that how she wasn’t expecting this meeting to be as scary as it was, which gets him to pull at his collar a little. Fortunately, they hit it off well enough that he brings up Eriko’s modelling career later on.

  7. >Makoto does her best to be polite toward Reiji, having prepared for this situation with some study online and on TV, but as soon as Reiji’s attention is not on her, she shivers a little. She’s not convinced that it’s just nerves getting to her either, but if she tries to ask Reiji any questions about it or do any snooping around Joker’s house, she’s quickly become embarrassed, especially since she doesn’t have any evidence to go on. She’ll say that she’s surprised that Joker’s father is someone like Reiji, but knows that his sense of conviction and justice undoubtedly came from him. She may even wonder aloud whether Personas can be passed on genetically when she and Joker get a private moment together. What Reiji will wonder aloud in their company however is his surprise that Joker got with such a driven student council president like Makoto, which’ll cause her to blush.

  9. >Futaba almost instinctively spends a lot of her first meeting with Reiji behind Joker’s back, partially out of dreading meeting her boyfriend’s parents and partially because his aura is deathly familiar to her. She’ll stutter and fumble her words quite a lot until Joker gives her some assurance, but she’ll also be helped as Reiji explains his past troubles with connecting with people, letting them bond with a short moment of sombreness. Though he’ll have serious difficulty keeping up with any tech speak, Reiji gets Futaba to relax somewhat whenever he mentions Piercy’s videogame shenanigans, which are sufficiently retro for her to connect with. After some coffee is had, she’ll surprise everyone by not losing too much of her composure when Reiji says how Joker and her make a great team (though Reiji thought to avoid saying “couple”, which may have helped).

  11. >Haru is unusually calm when meeting Reiji, which at first she attributes to how she’s had to deal with salesmen-types that gathered around her father when they didn’t know better. Even Reiji however thinks this is a little odd, to which Haru resumes the anxiety of meeting Joker’s father she herself was expecting to have. Still, over the course of some coffee Haru begins to understand why Joker is the person that he is while talking to his father, particularly when it comes to knives and having a double life which gets a few giggles out of her. She’s very thankful when Reiji says he’s supportive of her dream of running a coffee shop, and feels flushed when he says settling down in one place was the best decision he ever made.

  13. >Ryuji is standoffish at first, considering how long Joker's was sent away for, but actually meeting Reiji turns that attitude into discomfort. He can sense the aura of Mot coming from him, and there's an old school feeling to it that reminds him of just how small he felt when he was turned into a mouse. It takes a while but Ryuji and Reiji bond somewhat over their rebellious streaks and how they have Joker's back no matter what. Also, unless someone steps in, Ryuji and Reiji may get caught up in a push ups contest, which will be won by Joker on moist protein.
  14.
  15. >Morgana can't help but have all his hairs stand up and his claws come out whenever Reiji is about, but otherwise doesn't interact much with him beyond typical cat behavior. That is, of course, if Reiji manages to avoid reacting to the fact that he can hear Morgana speaking perfect Japanese. Reiji almost doesn’t realise the significance at first considering how real demons used to be back in the day, but it quickly dawns on him that responding to Morgana may be a bit weird, even if his son’s friends remind him of his old gang/s. Regardless, Katsuya will eventually hear about Morgana from a long grape vine that leads right back to Reiji.
  16.
  17. >Yusuke is cautious in approaching Reiji, but decides rather than being anxious himself, he'll put it into his art and capture that scary aura (though his saying this aloud doesn't win him many points with Reiji). Yusuke tends to hang back as the others talk with Joker's dad, but when he spots something unusual in Reiji's hairline, his curiosity gets the better of him. If Reiji hasn't already done so, he'll tell the PT about the scar, though only with just enough detail to get Yusuke's mind to wander somewhere else.

  19. >Goro. I feel like I should say something about Goro but I think Reiji would probably just shut him down, even if Joker was nice to him. He probably recognises bullshit when he sees it, and both Reiji and Goro would recognise a troubling kind of energy coming from one another. Despite the familiar elements in their backgrounds, I don’t think they’d be able to connect to each other; Goro would secretly resent Joker having a dad that, despite being rough around the edges, raised him well enough, and Reiji would be concerned that someone like this is one of Joker’s friends.

  22. >Reiji would undoubtedly see his old friends reflected back to him; a bit of Mark in Ryuji, Eriko in Ann and a little in Futaba, even Piercy in his own son. It’d eat at him knowing that Philemon was still stirring things up with his own kid, but meeting all his friends and his girlfriend give him enough confidence that the present is in good hands, which goes for double if the PT have beaten off Yaldy. Ultimately, he’d be proud, proud of himself for raising such a good kid despite his own troubles and proud of Joker for managing even better than he did when times were tough. Deny it all he might, Reiji would shed a tear or two over meeting his son Takashi and his friends.
