- [20:27] {NARRATION} The magi were spotted a little too late--they had already breached the borders of the Cruxati, pillaging and plundering with a small force of undead. Led by Vesper herself...
- She (along with other Eidolons) might be surprised to find that the force of magi that stood to repel the raiders had a certain wrath mage in their ranks.
- Vesper vs Luci (temp-nerf, requested)
- Mina vs Alvi
- Khaine vs Saenis
- Conall vs Dawn
- Aedan vs Willow
- Shata vs Megrez
- Ohtli vs Daganon
- Cap of 1-2. Dangerous.
- [20:28] "Destroy them all," Sibri murmurs through a faint grin, watching the spectatle take place. He had a keen eye on Lucillius in particular.
- (Sibri)
- [20:32] As night begins to crest in through the day, she's more enthralled by the intoxication of the whiskey than any sort of nerves.
- Death - as Dawn would come to learn - is always a possibility. The capture of Lucilius, her husband, had proven it even more so. Even the most mighty and deadliest of warriors could fall, and if they weren't careful? They'd fall far away from their loved ones and friends.
- In this moment, in the dire moments where she could witness Lucilius in the stands with the Gehennan warriors, Dawn's heart drops to her chest. Rage, impeccable, floods her. Was he dead? No, surely not. The Cruaxti were rumored to not believe in the Undead, and caused her mother great strife in the past due to it.
- "Just tell me one, fucking thing," Dawn states, her hands gripping onto her staff. She doesn't want to hear the truth, even if Conall knew little to nothing of it.
- Yet, she'd still feel compelled to ask.
- "Why does the Sin of Wrath live?"
- (Dawn Grauhimmel)
- [20:36] "Khiiiii~"
- A pleased squeeling comes from him, wooden fingernails itch at bark-like skin as blood spills. His glaive lodges into one of the chests of the foes, and spores rapidly fill their chest. The indivisual explodes into a collective of hard to breathe air as his corpse instantly starts to mold over.
- He grins jaggedly.
- "Is so pleasing! To be of fighting foes, to be of warrior~! Khiiiii!"
- He cackles. And then? They caught sight of another. Half-lidded eyes stare at a woman with fox-like ears and tail. She asks her question, only bringing a shrug from the Dryad's shoulders.
- "Is not of knowing. Chieftain of doing what chieftain wants. Is Gehenna. Is taking of what is wanting." His glaive points, jagged end at the Kitsune.
- "Is wanting of you. Is first battle. Will be making of good trophy."
- He fumbles with his waist, bringing out a cube and throwing it. "Be good trophy for Conall, yes?"
- (Conall Revels)
- [20:44] She asks why the sin of wrath still lived? The Dryad smiled jaggedly, maliciously. Mandrakes crawl from the grasses, clammering to the Kitsune and throwing rocks as her vision becomes a void. Poisonous flowers fill the air with spores, making it hard to breathe. And more then that? He moved just outside of her range, avoiding the stinging lightning, avoiding the fire that crawled on the ground.
- What damage did connect was healed by vines. And he manages to close distance. The Dryad stalks forwards, the end of his glaive shoved into the Kitsune's clothes to pin her to the ground, vines then quickly securing her. A bark-like hand would grab her hair once she couldn't move, dragging her to eye-level with the Dryad.
- "Khiiiii. Is prize for battle yes? Is how attacks work. Is how duels work. If of trying to take from Cruxati? Is belonging to if lost.
- Name is Conall. You are slave. What is pretty slave's name?
- Khiiiiiii."
- (Conall Revels)
- [20:50] Dawn's blistering flames has nothing powerful in comparison to one that controlled the very life of the jungle around them. No matter how much she'd scorch the earth, it'd replenish itself into a vibrant, healthy lush. No matter how hard she'd strike Conall with the twisted, searing edge of plasma-imbued lightning, he'd recover from the blessings of the ground.
- She'd hear of the Dryads and their affinity with Nature and the Spirits. She'd seen one in the baser levels of their rage. To face one in combat, however?
- The vines that peel and lock her limbs together make her gasp, a sputter of inebriated confusion flowing from her lips. "W-who, what the hell - augh!"
- The hand that tightens around her hair makes her cringe, teeth gritting and an animalistic snarl delivered towards the Dryad that holds her mercilessly.
- "My name is Dawn Grauhimmel, you fucking piece of shit - I've come to get my husband. My husband, because I'm married and already enslaved to the bastard that let himself get captured in the first place!"
- Her tail swishes furiously, the chestnut limb swatting at various vines that kept her secured for Conall's manipulation.
- "Aren't you a worshipper of Nature? Slavery? What can you possibly get out of making little, ol me a slave? Surely, there's someone more prettier out there than some stinky, little fox."
- (Dawn Grauhimmel)
- [20:55] "Dawn Grauhimmel, married to the enslaved. May be making of good present then, to chieftain yes? Will be of having to see." His lips curl vilely, showing rows and rows of jagged shard-like teeth. "But the law of combat is clear. If of captured by foe? Life is forfeit to foe. Is foe wanting to of dying? Will die.
- But not of feeling that. Will be of use. Has kneeled in defeat already." His hands once more are entrenched in the Kitsune's locks and he begins to drag her away, back towards where the remainders of the battles took place.
- "Conall is worshiper of spirits, and is Gehennan. And Gehennan law is clear yes? If one wants something, they can take it. And I want to own things.
- Khiiiii. Lets return."
- Bare feet scrape on the forest floor as he starts to drag Dawn back towards Cruxati.
- (Conall Revels)
- [20:57] You stole Dawn Grauhimmel's Tyranid.
- [21:03] If there were a time to scream incoherently, it'd be now.
- Through the worst of her experiences, she has heard of the dreaded term slavery. There wasn't a sole rumor about Gehennan that didn't taint the potential name, though the practice had died in sheer number over the last, few decades. Those that did practice, however? Violent encounters and hedonistic tales rang from the mouths of those that'd speak upon it.
- Nothing that she'd ever thought she'd face the threat of. Until Conall.
- His bark-encrusted fingers rip through her chestnut mane, tearing upon the scalp with ruthless force. Some tendrils snap from the root, the pain searing into her head while the vines' binding, intrusive nature keeps her from writhing too much. Over rocks, up the hill's side, and rolling across the dirt, she gasps fitfully until she's brought back to the general battlefield.
- Leaves, twigs, and mud splotch her captured form - and she's muttering a slew of curses under her breath. Things she'd keep quiet, however, because she doesn't want to die, no.
- She has a lot to say to the man that's caused all of this before she can die, after all.
- "My entire, fucking body aches... Why does Cruaxti get involved with the likes of Ikkaku and his holy boys? Can you at least answer me that before you drag me all over the world?!"
- (Dawn Grauhimmel)
- [21:08] He cackles, and trees shake as if they are laughing too. Darkness once more overtakes the Kitsune's vision, functioning as something of a permeant blindfold until he has taken her to wherever he wants to. Lips are curled into a cruel smile as his half lidded gaze looks downwards.
- "Is funny yes. Is thinking that Cruxati are of helping Ikkaku. Conall will be telling Dawn of secret, yes?"
- His voice becomes louder as his lips draw to her ear. A poisonous tone whispers to her.
- "Fuck Ikkaku. Conall is not caring for peace. Conall is not caring for undead, nor of Order. Is natural, but so is chaos. Will slaughter undead, will draw their blood and quarter them. But for 'Order'?
- Conall not of caring at all. Conall is only wanting what Conall is wanting."
- The battle seemed to be over, the raiders pushed back. The leader killed.. A complete victory.
- "Is time to go to Cruxati and present, yes?"
- (Conall Revels)
