RULES
1: No swearing. This includes most approximations. Just because fischbot doesn't catch you doesn't mean you aren't safe.
2: If you are sending excessive lines to the channel (flood), or otherwise causing a bot to do so, we mute you and the channel. Take it to #caleb-spam.
3: Don't ask for op status. We have enough.
3b: It is the duty of both the channel operators and the channel management bots to ensure that the users listed in the channel operator list retain the proper channel modes (+o or +ov).
4: If the channel is otherwise getting out of hand, as determined by any operator or popular vote from voiced users, the channel gets muted and the offenders lose voice status.
4b: If you PM an operator excessively, you get tempbanned. Continue doing so and we'll find an IRC oper.
5: Remember, it's Caleb's channel, not yours. He has the final say in most things.
6: Be respectful to the users in the channel, operators especially.
7: Don't use our bots for malicious purposes. The punishment for this depends on which rules are broken.
8: Abide to the rules of your EFnet server. We here at #Caleb will not be held responsible for any damage, physical or emotional, caused by EFnet or any of its users. We merely use their services.
9a: Rule 9a rule is false.
9b: Rule 9a cannot be applied to any other rule.
10: Software piracy is an unacceptable topic; while not expressly banned on EFnet, we do not permit it here.
10b: Caleb can discuss the usage of such software with any user; however, all operators and users are not permitted to distribute such software.
11: Discussion involving drugs or their paraphernalia is not permitted.
12: Ops reserve the right to limit the speech of any other user, through devoicing and/or deopping. Because ops are expected to stay within all channel rules (besides some exceptions stated in the associated rule) and enforce these rules upon the channel users, kickbanning ops is NOT permitted.
13: Advertising is not allowed. That's a kickable offense.
13b: Advertise a juped channel/server and you get banned.
14: If we can't mute the channel for any reason, we kick you. If you continue to cause issues, we tempban you.
14b: The maximum tempban is 3 days.
15: Enough with "Hodor", KermM.
16: No channel takeovers whatsoever. This results in loss of operator privilege.
