Chelidon's Familiar

Chelidon Civic - Last Tuesday at 3:51 PM
He nodded excitedly. "yes! Fireflies. What a cool name" his eyes were lit up though he looked confused when something small hit into the side of his face. He squeaked and looked down at the ground flabbergasted as to what had hit him. He titled his head at the bug that lay on its back, it was strange looking with a long nose and a weird almost spike coming out of its head "What a funny looking bug" he said pawing at it "Have you ever seen one before ma?" he looked back at her as the amber colored bug began to stir and poked Cheli in the paw making him yelp and jump behind his mom. @Willow Civic

She giggled softly. "I so suppose cool." Once he looked confused, Willow stared at him what was he confused about? Just then a bug was on his face and then down at he ground. She frowned and stared at the bug, gently nudging it before shaking her head. "No not afraid sorry son." Blinking several times her green eyes continued to stare at the bug, and then she laughed. "Scared why so?" Tail flicked purposely in her sons face.- @Chelidon Civic

"it poked me!" he pushed his head forward and tilted it as the bug began to hiss, his eyes got wide before the hissing turned into talking "stupid wolf. Stupid mudder wolf. Stupid animals always getting in way." Chelidon puffed up before snorting "My mother isn't stupid!" he then stopped feeling crazy for talking to a bug. His ears lowered as he stared down the bug who waddled towards Che "Are you talking to me?" the bug spat the hissing only getting louder, the bug held a strange accent almost a Norwegian one even pronouncing some words wrong. "Stupid wolf, don't talk to me. You and your mudder are in my way. You and your big head made me crash" the bug flew up messily landing on Chelidon's head poking him with the horn that grew out of his face "Big stupid head" the bug almost teased knowing it was making the adolescent frustrated "Stop it don't do that it hurts" he shook his head trying to nock the bug off who only hung onto his fur annoyingly. @Willow Civic

She laughed as she bug poked him before she frowned. Her ears flicked. "You hear him speaking..?" She glanced at Tumai on her back and the Margay nodded. 'I believe Chelidon has found his familiar, Willow.' The white wolf smiled and sat down, she wasn't going to tell Chelidon, she and Tumai had to figure it out on their own and thus she allowed the two creatures to figure out that infact they were joined together; familiars. Flicking her tail softly Willow hummed softly to herself.- @Chelidon Civic

He pouted "Yea he keeps calling you stupid and said I have a big head" the bug still poked at Chelidon making him paw at his head trying to get the bug away "Stop it you silly bug" The bug hissed at Che and spit "Silly bug? I not a silly bug. I am rhinoceros beetle the strongest insect. You silly wolf, you not strong. Just have hard head" the beetle slid down the canines head and clung to Che's nose making him squeak. "I'll eat you if you don't stop!" Che knew he could never purposely eat a bug, he would feel terrible though that didn't stop him from threatening it. The beetle just seemed to laugh at the canine as he poked Cheli's soft nose. "Wolves are stupid. Pick one mudder always have babies with her. I have babies with many mudders. I have many babies, your mudder only has one big headed wolf." Chelidon huffed "I have a brother and a sister who are stronger then you! So what, my dad didn't need many 'mudders' " he mocked the bug which only got him a hiss and another poke. He didn't like this bug, he was mean and  annoying. The bug crawled up Chelidon's head to hiss at his mother "Stupid mudder staring at me with her stupid cat. Cat has  big head too, i bet you two get along" the bug poked his little legs through the canines fur to bother his rides head. @Willow Civic

Willow stood and watched and then her Margay snarled. 'Watch your mouth beetle, Chelidon there is your familiar. You are bonded, both can hear one another but other wolves cannot hear you.' Her tail flicked with a hiss, and Willows ears flicked, hearing her Margay it all made sense and she smirked. Once more remaining silent.- @Chelidon Civic

The beetle seemed confused  then hissed back at the feline "Glad you can hear, big silly ears good for something. Familiar? I don't like this big headed canine. Wolves are stupid, do stupid things. Not strong like me." Chelidon heard the word Familar and titled his head making him look at his mother. He had heard some things about familiars, not much and he had seen them before working side by side. "I don't want him as my familar! Can I have a new one?" he didn't like the bugs attitude he was annoying. "Hes annoying and loud" the bug poked Chelidon's head again "Annoying? Me? Never" the bug hissed once more before attempting to fly away though he was a little crooked and landed soon after he started. Che moved to stare at the bug who sat on the ground looking annoyed. "Are you okay?" he asked as the beetle hissed at him "Stupid wing wont work right, make it hard to fly." he watched as the beetle spread his wings out, one was smaller then the other. He titled his head curious as to how that would happen, maybe a deformity. His heart strings pulled for the hurt bug despite the rudeness and annoying voice he couldn't help but feel bad for it. @Willow Civic

The feline hissed once again. 'Familiars can hear other familiars. Like him or not you are joined. I mean he could easily eat you, so I'd shut your mouth and be nice.'  Her paw slammed into the ground and Willow's green eyes frowned. What was going on. "Familiar yours, name of it?" She asked softly pondering if Chelidon had that conversation or not with the beetle. Flickering her tail, nose wrinkled she pondered what was wrong with her sons familiar.- @Chelidon Civic(edited)

"His wing is deformed, he can't fly very well. But hes sure got an attitude" he rolled his eyes before nudging the bug. "What is your name?" the soft hearted nature of Che made it hard for him to stay mad at the hurt bug, it made him feel bad for it. The bug crawled onto Che's muzzle "name Anubis. Mudder is fussy" he joked which made Che laugh a little hoping his mothers familiar wouldn't say anything about the joke. "His names Anubis Ma, he thinks wolves are stupid and bugs are better" he gave his mother a silly grin knowing very well that he could just eat the bug if he got too annoying but that was something he wasn't going to do. "You can ride on my head Anubis if you want.. I'm sure its not fun to fly on a deformed wing." the bug seemed flustered by this hissing in protest "Do things on my own. No need stupid wolf help." though despite the protest he did make home on Che's head  settling into the fur and being mindful for once of his horns. "He said hes a Rhinoceros beetle, hes kinda cool looking" the bug seemed to swing his head in appreciation to the comment showing off his mighty horns. @Willow Civic

"Oh dear, heal wing surely soon? Hopefully." She nodded, poor little thing a wing must be much like a leg towards beetles. "Anubis, and hmph see I." Hearing that the bugs are better, though she saw it much like the bugs are delicate and could easily be squished or eaten. Nose wrinkled she watched as he climbed onto her sons head. She smirked softly, it was the start of a long and hopefully good relationship between the two. "Rhinoceros... Beautiful." Willows head nodded with a smile, watching the beetle swing his head and show off the horn.- @Chelidon Civic

He smiled at his mother "I hope it gets better too, though in the end even if it doesn't i'll keep him safe" his heart felt full in a way having something he could actually protect for sure. The beetle poked Cheli though this time softer but still was sassy when he spoke "No need help, all i need is to find mudders, eat food and rest" clearly the bug had his priorities straight which made Che laugh softly. He bounded over to his mother and nuzzled her gently. "I love you Ma" he was glad that his mother had been here for the special occasion his tail wiggling happily. The beetle was tempted to poke the older canine though he held back not wanting to get himself eaten right after he had gotten a free ride around. @Willow Civic

"Good, glad I'm. Big heart have you got." She smiled softly, as her son came over she nuzzled into him and gently nipped his ears. Green eyes shot to the beetle and with a smirk she gently nudged him with her nose. "Welcome family Anubis!" Barking happily at him, knowing fully well that he could understand what she said. Now she pondered what Tzila and Shinwu's familiars would become.- @Chelidon Civic
