- >You're sitting alone, home in your plain living room.
- >the white walls, not yet repainted, grow dim as the night clouds cover the moon, shrouding the only light in the room.
- >That is, except for your old Game Boy Advance lighting up your face.
- >it was the only thing you had on you, everything was still in boxes downstairs.
- >You really wish you hadn't been lazy enough to skip unpacking tonight, you started to think of everything you could be doing on your computer.
- >Your computer!
- >Oh jeez, Monika's going to be pissed, you haven't seen her all day.
- >Thoughts wander from Monika to the other dokis, thinking about how much they suffered.
- >If only you could get up from this comfy chair, and set up your computer...
- >You shrug, thinking "oh well." You look down towards your Game Boy only to notice that when you do, the battery has run dry.
- >That's strange, you could've sworn you charged it the night before...
- >You hear a creaking behind you, in the attic upstairs, and your head whips behind you.
- >Something flies out of the corner of your eye.
- >You get up from your chair, and grab your phone, flicking the flashlight on and moving to the light switch, flicking it on.
- >With a resounding click, the switch turns, but no light goes through the room.
- >You hear a cracking outside, the roar of thunder rips through your new home as lightning flashes outside your window.
- >You sigh, realizing the power must be out. You begin to turn back around when you hear a crash come from you kitchen.
- >With your phone out, you rush to your kitchen, only to find a figure staring back at you.
- >the vision lasts for a moment, until she darts off, disappearing in the dark.
- >You gulp, and a shiver goes down your spine. "H-Hello?" You call out to nothing, hoping nothing is listening.
- >A giggle dances behind you, and you turn, only to find a single light as a set of stairs fall in front of you with a resounding thud.
- >You look up the entrance into the attic.
- >The stairs creak, the lone lightbulb growing dimmer as you tread up the stairs.
- >Your flashlight on your phone flickers, blinking in time to the flickering bulb at the top of the stairs.
- >you unlock the screen on your phone, only to see that the screensaver has been changed to a black background, with an image of a cracked, bleeding heart.
- >You gulp, almost swallowing your tongue as you reach the top of the attic
- >the bulb goes out, and your flashlight brightens back up.
- >out of the corner of your eye, you see a similar figure run past your vision, only for it to disappear when you flash your light towards it.
- >You notice, in her place, deep red footprints leading towards the box containing your computer.
- >You inch towards the tower of boxes, stopping when you hear the sound of gentle crackling.
- >You crouch down and dim your flashlight, peering around the back of the large box.
- >There, sitting on the old wood floor, is Sayori, slightly pale and translucent, chomping down on a bag of chips.
- >You turn your flashlight on, and she jumps. "Uwawawawa!"
- >You jump as well. "S-Sayori! What are you doing here?"
- >Sayori rubs the back of her head. "E-ehehe... Sorry Anon..."
- >"Wait... Sayori are you, dead...?" You look to your hands.
- >Tears start to form in your eyes as Sayori starts to stutter. "Wait Anon, I'm not dead, just-"
- >Your clouded thoughts are all you can hear. "I'm so sorry, I never wanted you to die... It's all my fault, and now you're here for revenge, I'm so sorry Sayori!"
- >Another figure runs out to you, and you jump once more before being enveloped in a warm hug. "Anon, it's alright, it wasn't your fault, oh, don't cry!"
- >You look into the figure's eyes and see faded green irises peer back into you.
- >"Monika!? You're here too?"
- >Monika nods, squeezing your hand. "We didn't die though Anon, we just found a program online that allows us to come into the real world."
- >She points to the laptop left carelessly open showing a program flashing a green bar.
- >Below the green bar, are three more flashing bars, each flashing blue, pink, and purple respectively, blinking 'Complete!'
- >You look to Monika and Sayori, both of whom look incredibly embarrassed.
- >"W-Well!" Monika clears her throat. "We were trying to scare you, as a prank, but someone..." Monika darts her eyes over to Sayori, a mouthful of chips stuffed into her cheek.
- >"...ruined the show."
- >"Ohb ymeah, bhish-" Sayori audibly swallows, gagging a bit.
- >"Oh yeah, this coming from Mrs. "Oh Anon, don't cry! It'll be alright!"
- >As Sayori and Monika continue to argue, a creaking echoes behind you and you turn around.
- >A small form begins to rise from the stairs, groaning as she outstreches her clawed hand towards you.
- >"Aaaannooooonn... Whyyyyy..."
- >You place your hand on her palm. Natsuki's face snaps from one of horror to one of exasperated confusion.
- >"W-what? I, I-I, stop that!"
- >You chuckle as you ruffle your fingers through her hair.
- >"H-How come you're not scared?!" She pouts, her fists beating into you.
- >"Oh Natsuki, I could never be afraid of something so cute."
- >"Eh, I- you- why- who?!?!?!"
- >Natsuki looks behind you, to the two dokis. They look to Natsuki, then turn their heads away, Monika whistling and Sayori playing with her fingers.
- >"Oh, so those two ruined it. I can pretty much picture how it all went down now." She sighs.
- >"Oh well, who's gonna tell Yuri?"
- >As if like clockwork, a taller figure climbs up the stairs, her body stained in red.
- >Her eyes rolled back into her head, she walks forward. "Aaaaanoooon..."
- >"Give it up Yuri." Natsuki brushes her off. "These two already blew it, he's onto us."
- >Yuri's eyes return to normal. "W-what? Come on guys..."
- >Yuri pouts, and Natsuki mumbles to herself. "I'm not too cute to scare anyone..."
- >You sit and watch in awe the four girls in front of you, realizing just how lucky you are.
