  55. Juni and Carmen are on a mission to search for a mysterious island where they encounter 2 of their competitors. There they meet a scientist who accidentally created the curious creatures with mixed features of normal animals. Both of them have to destroy a powerful object (which could disable all electrical signals and gadgets) that, till then, kept the island from being detected and thus prevent it from reaching wrong hands and ultimately save the world!
  56. The sequel to Spy Kids; the second film revisits the adventures of the previous film. Carmen and Juni Cortez team up with two other spy kids, Gary and Gerti Giggles, and together they must save the world from the hands of an evil scientist named Romero (Buscemi).

I don&#39;t know why IMDb&#39;s user base is being so tough on this movie, but what really amazed me about it, besides the beautiful production design and use of special effects, is how much I know I would have loved it as a kid. It is SUCH a fun kid&#39;s fantasy, with gadgets, creatures, and the chance to act grown up without grossing people out. I liked this movie a great deal; not sure why it&#39;s being maligned here.<br/><br/>What&#39;s also interesting about it is Robert Rodriguez&#39;s ability to work his Mexican pride into this film. While there are a lot of great Latino filmmakers, I think it&#39;s cool how Robert Rodriguez is able to put Hispanics into the mainstream, be it with his casting or with his films themselves. I&#39;ve always said that as much as I love the indie heroes, the mainstream have the power to effect real change, and it&#39;s nice to see that actually at work.
  58. Wildly imaginative! a wonderful family movie, great action, great fun, lots of wit &amp; humour. Every parent should be thankful for a movie their kids will love and they will love too. Excellent messages cloaked in fun. Really a great movie for anyone who still has the heart of a kid!
  59. The movie is a gaudy, noisy thrill ride -- hyperactive, slightly out of control and full of kinetic, mischievous charm.
