Z (PROSE: Mission to Galacton)

Another Dalek turned its head. Its dome lights flashed as it spoke: 'Third planet in system has high concentration of Radio-Activan in its core. This can be energised and converted to fuel.

'The planet's core will be energised, the Dalek said. Its grating voice echoed in the darkness. The hostile creatures will be exterminated and the Dalek mission will be accomplished.'
There was another light now—a red glow as the Dalek's gun powered up. A brilliant beam of energy blasted downwards into the very heart of Galacton. The bottom of the shaft melted and gave way, allowing the blast to penetrate right to the core of the planet. Molten rock surged upwards as the energy released a huge volcanic eruption.
'Exterminate! I die, but the Daleks will reign supreme!'
The Dalek commander watched without comment. The huge scanner screen in the main control room showed the eruptions as the planet was torn apart.
'Energy wave released,' a Dalek reported. 'Planet's core has been energised.'

'Planet Galacton has been destroyed. Hostile alien life form has been exterminated.

[...]

The Dalek Commander turned to face the other Daleks. Its dome was framed by the fiery explosions that blasted across the screen behind it.
