(4:18:15 PM) Ikiryo: [Yes. She and her cubs lived in the forest. I petted her last week. Mummy said I could be a duchess when I grow up.]

(4:22:51 PM) Blueshift_North: [Oh that's nice, a couple of my friends are in the navy. Well.  One of them is navy adjacent.]
(4:24:43 PM) Ikiryo: [That's cool. Mummy doesn't like the navy but Miss Rimema is nice. She's sad a lot but she's nice.]

(4:30:15 PM) Blueshift_North: [Well, I could let you meet my kitten, Doppler, the next time we meet?] She attaches a picture Doppler managed to take of herself. possibly on purpose.
(4:31:21 PM) Ikiryo: It's a very cute picture indeed. [She is really cute. You lime animals miss machine?]
(4:34:19 PM) Blueshift_North: [Yeah, I'm a fan.  I spent a while hanging out with a new friend and her pet tigers the other day.]

(4:39:01 PM) Blueshift_North: [Not all of them, but these ones were.]

(4:48:18 PM) ***Blueshift_North sighs, finishes her breakfast, then heads towards town.
(4:50:00 PM) Ikiryo: It's not hard to get there...though like before, people give her nervous looks as she passes.
(4:50:50 PM) ***Blueshift_North is very careful to move as non-threateningly as possible and keeps her hands free of her pockets, where they would normally be.
(4:54:06 PM) Ikiryo: It helps a bit but not much, most people still looking at her with fear. According to signs...the hospital is up only a few levels from the top.
(4:55:36 PM) ***Blueshift_North heads up, already resigned to something awkward or bad happening.
(4:57:53 PM) Ikiryo: A recoiling pink haired dryad in a white robe screaming and grabbing a chair like a weapon, check.
(4:59:38 PM) ***Blueshift_North waits for her to at least calm down enough to explain what's happening.
(5:00:34 PM) Ikiryo: "W-What are you doing here!"
(5:04:26 PM) Blueshift_North: "I brought a girl named Keziah in after she was attacked by an animal yesterday, and was stopping by to check on her?" She has her hands up in the universal gesture for "I am not armed or a threat", and it would be a really good time for Doppler to do something cute and disarming.
(5:06:21 PM) Ikiryo: She spots Doppler slipping through the door into the Hospital itself.
(5:06:30 PM) Ikiryo: "Why are you doing that?"
(5:07:24 PM) ***Blueshift_North sighs. "Because I am worried about an injured small child.  Like a normal person, saints alive."
(5:09:43 PM) Ikiryo: "Like a person." She narrows her eyes at North. "What proof do I have of your good intentions?"
(5:12:03 PM) Blueshift_North: "Yes, like a normal person, you know, a sapient entity with basic empathy.  What proof do you want, do I need like, a signed, affidavit? Does it need to be notarised by a public notary? Do you want a note from my therapist? Professional references?"
(5:13:16 PM) Ikiryo: "I am the head healer for this colony..." She looks North up and down. "...fine but you will be watched."
(5:15:18 PM) Blueshift_North: "Yeah sure, what else is new. Do you want to go first or follow me to make sure I'm not out of sight pulling, I don't know what stupid thing do you think I'm going to do.  Mechanical tricks?"
(5:15:46 PM) Ikiryo: "Go ahead of me."
(5:16:25 PM) ***Blueshift_North keeps her hands visible as she walks through the door.
(5:16:50 PM) Ikiryo: The dryad walks behind her...and is shocked as Doppler drops down onto her shoulder.
(5:19:07 PM) ***Blueshift_North scratches behind her ear.  "Hey you.  How'd you get in here?" She asks, a little playfully.
(5:22:31 PM) Ikiryo: She purrs...then jumps to the Dryad's shoulder.
(5:24:19 PM) Blueshift_North: "Which way to her room?"
(5:26:21 PM) Ikiryo: "Second door on the Lef...arg..." Doppler just bit her on the nose, hard. Doppler has green sap on her mouth as she jumps back to North's shoulder
(5:28:06 PM) Blueshift_North: "Doppler, I know she's racist but if we just hurt everyone because they were mean there would be a lot more fights I would be in." She heads towards the room and makes sure to clean Doppler's mouth off.
(5:31:17 PM) Ikiryo: Doppler sticks out her tongue at North. In the room, she spots a familiar young dryad. Even in medical places, everything is made of wood and stone.
(5:31:47 PM) Blueshift_North: "Hey." She says quietly.
(5:36:19 PM) Ikiryo: "Hello miss machine." She nods to North, her leg bandaged up heavily.
(5:37:57 PM) ***Blueshift_North sits down, very gently next to her.  "It's good to see you're doing better.  Oh, right, I promised to introduce you.  This is Doppler." She gestures at her shoulder.
(5:38:34 PM) Ikiryo: Doppler jumps down onto the girl. "Wow, she's pretty..."
(5:39:57 PM) Blueshift_North: "Yeah, I met her on a planet a while ago, and she kind of adopted me."
