If you sat there and pondered
Looking across horizon's stretch
Far and wide gazing into depths
Would you ever have thought
What life is this?
And is this the creation or the end?

All seasons change the whistling winds
Bracing for an endeavour to the sky
Something there waits for I
But bliss remembers the reminiscing past
That shadows cast a dominating waste

For what has the mind encountered
But a frail and scared of youth
That bottoms of the fields grey
Washes away the happiness of joyful
Of what one was a card flip ago

Where upon the mountains across
The horizon holds a wonder of peer
To be into the farewell when death
Becomes the stars of the gloomy night
And those stars were once a believer in us
As we are now the stars in which those trust
