So owning a boombox was a new experience for me. But this isn't a boombox from the early 2000s, it's got bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and you can also play your songs from a USB flash drive. In terms of sound out, you can actually plug in a pair of headphones and treat it solely as a CD player. It's also got FM radio, so you've basically got all your bases covered (pun intended, albeit ironic, see below).\n\nBeing a boombox, I thought the sound would be more on the boomy and thumpy side of things, but no this is actually more close to HiFi sound reproduction than for---say---playing hip hop beats at a pool party. Which is good in my case. The mids are very rich and full-range, and the highs have a natural response that are neither emphasized nor tapered off. I would assume there is no subwoofer in this thing. But overall it is a very nicely tuned set of drivers they put in this thing.\n\nNeedless to say, it's great for music enjoyers that actually enjoy music beyond just being \"all about that bass\". So bass lovers, look elsewhere if that is your definition of good sound.\n\nIf there's one thing that would make this boombox even better, if it had a rechargeable lithium ion battery via a Type-C interface. Currently it takes C size batteries which I think is becoming less common nowadays.\n\n🟣  ＣＯＮＣＬＵＳＩＯＮ\nA surprisingly feature rich boombox that has sound that actually doesn't suck! It's more geared towards critical listening or playing background music, rather than what you'd typically associate with \"blasting your music\".",
