BACKGROUND: Honestly she grew up in a pretty simple family. When she was about 10 years old she absolutely fell in love with art and decided that's what she wanted to do with her life; her father wanting something more "practical" for his daughter has always been against the idea of her pursing an art career. So he made a rule that if she wanted to do art she had to pass every single one of her classes or else all art would be banned from the house. This is why she takes school seriously for the sake of what she loves she makes sure to stay on top of all her classes.

PERSONALITY : Ara is the type of friend that everyone needs in their group. She’s constantly got a smile on her face and is always willing to help her friends at the drop of a pin. Her life seems perfect to those around her, though Ara knows that’s not the case. She works hard for everything she’s ever gotten, even the permission to do what she loves and actually pursue an art degree which her father was beyond against. She’s not one to wear her emotions for others to see, unless of course it’s Taeil. When she’s around him it seems that the perfect facade everyone else sees just kinda falls apart and he sees her for who she really is. He might be one of the only people who knows just how funny she is, I mean there’s been times where people have been on the edge of tears from laughing so much by the things she says. All she really wants is for the people in her life to be happy, and she’s willing to do anything and everything to make that possible; even if that means putting her own feelings and wants to the side. She's the type of person who's always willing to do whatever it takes to make sure those she cares for are never in harms way. She'll be quick to stand up for herself or someone else no matter what the situation is if she sees someone getting mistreated. she's actually very sensitive though she taught herself to cover it up, not wanting to be a burden to anyone. This is why you'll never see her showing any emotions other than being happy; because she doesn't want anyone else to worry about her. Though at times she can be very sarcastic she's anything but rude, one of the rules she lives by is "respect those who respect you" and because of this she is naturally polite to those she encounters, though give her a reason not to be and you're in for a rude awakening. She can be very jealous at times but has a hard time admitting when she actually is, seeing as she doesn't really like people seeing this side of her. She'd rather struggle on her own and figure things out than bother those she cares about with her problems. She has a huge heart when it comes down to it, and her unconditional love for others may just be her biggest downfall. People have been known to take advantage of her kindness towards them and use her to do their homework or even buy them things, this is why as much as she loves the idea of making everyone around her happy she's kind of starting to get sick of her feelings.

HIS PERSONALITY : Taeil is the calm to Ara. He keeps her grounded by reminding her to have a little fun every now and then. He’s usually super chill and laid back; someone that is easy to talk to and makes friends pretty easily. Though he can sometimes manage to come off a bit awkward when he’s in certain situations. He’s someone that can be relied on, though that doesn’t make him any less clueless to Ara being totally in love with him.

HOW DID YOU MEET? : It was Ara’s first day at their old middle school and she was a little behind schedule for her liking. So here she was trying to get across the school while trying to go over the syllabus just so she could be prepared for the new school she was thrown into. While Taeil was casually walking in the opposite direction, headphones in and attention towards his phone. Needless to say, the two collided and Ahreum found herself somehow tangled in the boys headphones, after a few minutes of frantic rambling Taeil just burst into laughter at the girls nervousness which made her calm down and finally realize how funny the situation was. He ended up walking her to her class and the two ran into each other walking home that day. They’ve been pretty inseparable since

YOUR FIRST IMPRESSIONS : She thought for sure he would think she was some loser, getting caught in the situation like that, but once he laughed she felt a strange wave of calmness. When he offered to walk her to class she realized he was actually very sweet.

HIS FIRST IMPRESSIONS : he thought she was cute, her nervous rambling made him smile. And it made him curious to find out more about her

HOW YOU ACT AROUND HIM : She's unapologetically herself around him. She never tries to act more "girly" and doesn't go out of her way to impress him, she's more herself with him than with anyone else. Though she's often very sarcastic with him she doesn't show skinship with anyone else like she does with him.

HOW HE ACTS AROUND YOU : Oddly enough he never had to question if he should act a certain way around her. Most girls always wanted him to change something about himself but not her. He's always himself with her, even if that means being lazy and at times super grumpy. However he knows that whatever mood he gives her she knows how to work with it and that's what he likes about her. He isn't shy when it comes to complimenting her or showing skinship; it's just something that comes naturally when she's around.

RELATIONSHIP : You know how you just feel complete when someone is in your life? Well that’s these two; they’re each other’s Other half. At this point they don’t know what they’d do without the other person there to lean on.

RELATIONSHIP TRIVIA :
-she has a tendency of stealing his sweaters
-they often sit by the beach while she draws and he lays his head on her lap

-tries to FINALLY confess by saying “ya someone asked me if you were my boyfriend again. Like how funny would that be if we ACTUALLY liked each other” to which he basically replied by saying that’s ridiculous they’re just friends. She quickly agrees and nervously laughs it off

-After thinking one of the other girls like Taeil (cause the other girl is always talking to him, trying to help Ara our only she obviously doesn’t know that) Ara decides to try and set them up so that her friend would be happy.
