  1. [19:59] As if the bone-chilling cold was not oppressive enough, what little influence one could warp upon the atmosphere was enacted in the wake of another passing through the area.
  2. The weight of the air, the passing snowflakes -- Every breath, Ronan attempt to keep himself intuned with it: Hunting, feeling out for another's presence.
  3.
  4. ...and alas, he'd find one.
  5. Try as he might, attempting to better the illusionary arcane through his mastery of gravity, he could not quite vanquish his image entirely. The silhouette took shape before Sinael, hovering close in threatening demeanor.
  6.
  7. "I've been looking for others to test my craft." He simply uttered, keeping to a momentary silence.
  8. " What say you, stranger? "
  9.
  10. Surely, this wasn't in his best interest, but what else was he to ensure to himself that he was getting better? Truly, a fool down to the very end.
  11. (Ronan)
  12. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  13.
  14. [20:01] Sianel stares at Ronan, the silhouette before him. He didn't seem to care much for the man. He spotted whom he came for, he needed to go on about his business now.
  15.
  16. Crimson eyes follow the man back down the mountain path.
  17.
  18. "I've no time for this." He said before attempting to go past Ronan.
  19. (Sinael Anauel)
  20. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  21.
  22. [20:05] Upon closer inspection at his randomly chosen target, a few features stuck out to him:
  23. Horns?
  24. Hooves?
  25. Crimson Eyes?
  26. These weren't things he's come in contact with before.
  27.
  28. Perhaps, it was his better judgement, or just his conscience -- Something pulled him back, forced him to really think on his next words and actions. Almost like a double-take of sorts.
  29.
  30. --And just like that, they... Started on their departure?
  31. It was almost as though he wasn't worth their time. The sinking sensation in his heart came back - No amount of anger could overshadow the fear that still crippled him in situations plagued with the unknown.
  32.
  33. Uneventful.
  34. Truly cowardice.
  35. (Ronan)
  36. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  37.
  38. [20:08] Sinael made his way past and continued to search for the conjurer. It was time, with the wispy outline of the man remaining near invisible in the snow.
  39.
  40. No voice retorted to the accursed, only the ones within himself. They urged him to make haste before all was over. He only had but a few weeks left at best.
  41.
  42. His crimson eyes flared with a foretelling on the future, red with fire, and a smell that never left his nostrils,
  43.
  44. The smell of war.
  45. (Sinael Anauel)
  46. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  47.
  48. ****************************************************
  49. A short pursuit later
  50. ****************************************************
  51.
  52. [20:11] Despair says, "Tell ma when ya retreive it."
  53. [20:11] Despair says, "An' maybe forget."
  54. [20:13] Sinael Anauel says, "A bit of a hassle trying to stir faith, since they are all building their bonds in the expedition. However i've heard rumors of internal struggle."
  55. [20:13] Sinael Anauel says, "Might still be able to do something, but i've lost the reporter. No trace of them after the date of their honor duel."
  56. [20:14] Despair says, "Here's ta hopin' it'll cause it ta boil ov'r. An' unfortunate tha' reporter was lost."
  57. [20:14] It was asinine - Though, curiosity for the unknown has never come to the man's dismay yet. He did not assault the stranger, but he certainly followed them. He wasn't sure, just how effective his cloak was - but he wasn't stopped yet.
  58.
  59. No footsteps to make as he gravitated into the structure.
  60. His breath, hushed, and his body sprawled for the walls, aiming to climb for the ceiling if he could.
  61.
  62. Listening...
  63. Hoping to learn...
  64. Though, those within the room were likely to detect him, eventually.
  65.
  66. If this were a practiced scout or a spy, they'd probably develop more experience.
  67. (Ronan)
  68. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  69.
  70. [20:14] Sinael Anauel says, "None have seen a body, but, searching for them may only press them to retreat deeper into whatever hole it is they've crawled into.."
  71. [20:14] Sinael Anauel asks, "Anything else you want me to look into?"
  72. [20:15] Despair says, "No. Maybe jus' tell anyone who looks like they'd do good ov'r here ta come."
  73. [20:16] Sinael Anauel says, "Seen one recently, a bright red kaor. Looks like.. i'm not really sure what to call 'im really."
  74. [20:16] Sinael Anauel asks, "Has one come here for refuge ?"
  75. [20:17] Despair says, "If they hav', it was when i wasn't 'round."
  76. [20:17] Sinael Anauel says, "Just making sure you're not already acquainted. I may know about two who were recently exiled, may come this way with proper push."
  77. [20:17] Despair asks, "Names?"
  78. [20:18] Sinael Anauel says, "Not too sure, but its the kaor, and a man in a brown coat who follows it around."
  79. [20:18] Sinael Anauel says, "I'll go back and see if i can learn their names from the children around the city."
  80. [20:18] Despair says, "I'll keep an eye out. Useful."
  81. [20:19] Ronan says, "< Are they referring to me? >"
  82. [20:19] Ronan says, "< No. Someone else. >"
  83. [20:20] Sinael Anauel asks, "About our deal, looking at what i have, is there anything else i should consider bringing?"
  84. [20:21] Sinael stares at his Despair for a moment. His eyes on both arms, it seems as if this man truly knew what he was doing. Perfect for the job really.
  85.
  86. He looked over to his left to glance at Ronan, the door, and then back to Despair. It didn't really matter much to him.
  87.
  88. He then grabbed his bag incase the man asked for the contents once more, if not he'd simply hoist it back over and depart once they had concluded everything here.
  89. (Sinael Anauel)
  90. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  91.
  92. [20:24] The Ultovexian would shake his head.
  93.
  94. "Ta attain wha' ya aspire, ya need the objects ta work wit', ya need their attachment, an' ya will need struggle an' pain. It is only through hardship an' conflict tha' people are able ta produce tha' bes' results."
  95.
  96. "Bring ta ma the materials. The struggle an' conflict can only stem from wha' ya do after it occurs."
  97.
  98. And with that it seemed the man was leaving. Not attention is paid to the brown cloaked man, not a worry at their presence.
  99. (Despair)
  100. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  101.
  102. [20:28] Ronan froze, like a fly spotted on the wall.
  103. They could see him? He felt as though it couldn't be, but-- Sinael looked right at him.
  104.
  105. So, he wasn't exactly the most steathy of characters, but at the least it didn't seem as though they were interested in bothering him. In fact, it seemed as though he was being subtly gestured to leave.
  106. Though, he could play dumb, right? There was no consequence -- He hoped.
  107.
  108. From the wall, he descended to rest foot-first to the ground, reclaiming his opacity and... Awkwardly making his way to the only other table he could immediately find, and sit there.
  109. He didn't really know what to do from there, at least until the interaction was over - Though, he now had a new point of interest.
  110.
  111. The constant glances over to the Ultovexian, and occasional glimpse the horned individual only further insinuated this.
  112. (Ronan)
  113. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
