  1. Hello Bliizard!
  2.
  3. It's me again, with my awesome unprofessional ideas!
  4. I think you must implement them. Why not?
  5.
  6. 1. Multichar combo!
  7. I've found this idea in Warcraft Chronicles, at the chapter about humans who amazed both trolls and elves by coming up with a simple, yet effective technique: why everyone must cast their spells separately, when you can join together and create a giant freaking nuclear ball of fiery death?
  8. So, why not make characters able to team up aand use "combination skills"?
  9.
  10. The most obvious example to come is, of course, a combination of mages. Bring, say, five mages in the raid and they would launch something HUGE to oneshot an add or a pack so the route of completing the objective would drastically change. Or several healers make tank protected by a super-duper shield. And why stop on mobs? There could be more creative and less evident ways. Like, several mages initialize a temporal rift while a warrior hurls a highly concentrated monk into a wall, which, in turn, crumbles while the monk is sent back through time to return undamaged.
  11. Ideally, there could be a way to complete a dungeon or even a raid WITHOUT fighting. Yet, such a way would be locked unless all players do something at the overworld for a week or two.
  12.
  13. 2. Profession and class quests while leveling.
  14. I know, I know, it's not new. But, as gamers, do you remember Lineage II? You know, the game that was relaunched from C1 and those servers are choke full of nerds? A game where getting past level 40 once was a challenge requiring you to better have a party and was worthy of celebrating with booze.
  15. Let's return everything! Class quests! Work hard to become stealthy! Work hard to be able to swim like sea lion! Work hard to make your character into the awesome class you're playing! Work hard to actually be able to even try to cook Burning Crusade recipes or work with northern leather. And so on.
  16. As Ion said, there's no need to rush the gameplay anymore.
  17.
  18. And to be honest, all this leveling rushing wasn't working! It was like a penalty for not paying. Boring, non-challenging, time-consuming penalty which you could pass without having spoken a single word to anyone.
  19.
  20. Conclusion 2: it's not like just leveling should be very challenging. Well, just making mobs very strong won't solve the problem. There should be "milestones" that kinda "underline" your previous efforts.
  21.
  22. 3. And even further... Class professions and mechanics.
  23. Let's return:
  24. - Skill reagents;
  25. - Hunter-pet relationships;
  26. - Or even pet-training;
  27. - And demon training; (whatever it was)
  28. - and lockpicking profession;
  29. - And poison brewery; (maybe)
  30. - And add similar leveling thingies to all classes.
  31.
  32. YET!
  33.
  34. When you move through Draenor, you would get "Draenor Perks" yet again. And what those perks would be? Simple! You no longer have to appeal to your pet anymore! You don't have to learn lockpicking anymore! You don't need feathers anymore! And more and more and more. Automatically obtained via instant lvl100.
  35.
  36. YET!
  37.
  38.
  39. Those characters, who evolved all those skills honestly, even after the max level, would flash out of the crowd. Or at least do the same things, but in more awesome way.
  40.
  41. 4. Non-combat pets. EVOLVING!
  42. Pet battles at Pandaria made me play some real pokemon games. And you know what? WoW pet battles are shi~ compared to them. So, let's implement the evolving mechanics, which would transform a pet into something else, given certain harsh conditions are met. Or maybe things similar to pokemon daycare.
  43. The only problem is that Nintendo might sue you. And who would be guilty of that? You! Okay, just kidding. Some of you who spent years making WoW able to do things that have nothing to do with MMO genre.
  44.
  45. Regards,
  46. A_player_who_suspended_his_subscription_but_still_nags_you.
